## Issue
<!-- Please specify the ID of the issue this PR is addressing. For
example: "Closes #1234" or "Fixes #1234" -->
Mentioned on the [dependency
dashboard](https://github.com/langchain4j/langchain4j/issues/2069), but
it seems renovate is not handling these?
## Change
The `langchain4j-document-parser-apache-tika` module uses Apache Tika in
version `3.0.0` which is subject [to a critical XXE
vulnerability](https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-p72g-pv48-7w9x). This
PR updates Tika to the latest version `3.2.3` (a fix is available since
`3.2.2`).

### Summary
This PR includes two documentation-related improvements to
`ApacheTikaDocumentParser`:
1. **Corrected class-level Javadoc wording:**
- Changed `Parses files into {@link Document}s` → `Parses an {@link
InputStream} into a {@link Document}`.
- The parser returns a **single** `Document`, not multiple, so the
plural reference was misleading.
2. **Updated Apache Tika formats documentation link:**
- Previously pointed to [Tika
2.9.1](https://tika.apache.org/2.9.1/formats.html).
- Updated to match the library version in use: [Tika
3.0.0](https://tika.apache.org/3.0.0/formats.html).
### Motivation
These changes improve clarity and accuracy in documentation for
developers using or extending this parser, especially:
- Avoiding confusion about the return type (`Document` vs
`List<Document>`).
- Ensuring the format reference aligns with the actual library version
in use.
No functional code changes have been made.

## Change
This pull request includes the following changes to improve project
dependency management:
- Removed unnecessary and redundant Netty dependencies and exclusions.
- Updated and reorganized dependency versions for consistency, including
new BOM imports for Azure SDK, Netty, and Reactor.
- Eliminated AWS SDK v1 dependencies, transitioning to
`software.amazon.awssdk` BOM for better compatibility and reduced
clutter.
- Removed redundant test dependencies like `assertj-core` and `mockito`
across modules, referring to the parent POM.
- Adjusted `kotlinx-coroutines-test` to use JVM-specific artifact and
standardized dependency version variables.
- Refined POM XML formatting for consistency and clarity (`mvn
spotless:apply`)

## Issue
Fixes#1974
## Change
Add Metadata parsed by TIKA into the lc4j Metadata object for further
usage.
Read the discussion about multi valued metadata entries but needed that
fix in our use case anyway. Since parsed-by TIKA is the only actual
multivalued metadata here, I decided to join it.

modules, and they are all green
Note: Current main build is failing as well.
Site note:
`ApacheTikaDocumentParserTest.should_parse_doc_ppt_and_pdf_files:33`
fails on my OSX M3 system but seems to be fine on CI.
Fixes#2209.
When using the `ApacheTikaDocumentParser` in production, pulling it in
as dependency causes the following code (which is internally used by the
Tika parser)
```java
XPathFactory factory = XPathFactory.newInstance();
```
to always fail with:
```
javax.xml.xpath.XPathFactoryConfigurationException:
No XPathFctory implementation found for the object model:
http://java.sun.com/jaxp/xpath/dom
```
Upgrading Apache Tika to the latest version (3.0.0) fixed this problem.
Looking at their
[changelog](https://github.com/apache/tika/blob/3.0.0/CHANGES.txt), I
would suspect that the removal on xerces2 dependency fixed this issue
(xerces2 is a library providing a XPathFactory implementation). Their
breaking changes seem to don't cause problems, JDK 11 requirement is
already met due to LangChain4j requirement I think.
Note: One unit test was failing for test-file.pptx, saving the .ppt as
.pptx fixed this. I think there was some hidden text.
## Issue
Adds format consistency check for changed files. Closes#2109
## Change
- Add [Spotless Maven plugin](https://github.com/diffplug/spotless) for
code java (eclipse java format) and pom.xml formatting
- Added the `<project.root.dir>` property across multiple POM files to
standardize the directory structure reference. This ensures consistent
project configurations and reduces redundancy in defining the root
project directory. Adjusted existing XML formatting minimally to
accommodate the new property integration.
- Cleanup duplicate settings in pgvector module
- Updated pom.xml files were reformatted according to
[defaults](https://github.com/diffplug/spotless/tree/main/plugin-maven#sortpom)
+ 4 spaces
- Adding linting and formatting commands to the `Makefile`, updating the
`pom.xml` files for better project configuration, and enhancing the
`CONTRIBUTING.md` guidelines.

## Issue
Dependency cycles removed:
[langchain4j-core]->[langchain4j-parent]->[langchain4j-core]
This cycles prevented project fresh project correctly in Jetbrains Idea.
Cyclyc dependency between this repo and [langchain-embeddings
repo](https://github.com/langchain4j/langchain4j-embeddings) should be
fixed separately.
## Change
- Removed dependency cycles: Removed dependencies to project modules
from `langchain4j-parent`/dependencyManagement to avoid cycles. Added
explicit version number for
langchain4j-core,langchain4j,langchain4j-open-ai.
- Introduced `langchain4j-embeddings.version` for explicit dependency on
another repo.
- Added BOM dependencies to parent pom: junit-bom, mockito-bom. Remved
dependencies, defined in BOMs
- junit.version -> 5.11.3
- Upgraded maven-surefire-plugin, maven-failsafe-plugin. **NB! Renovate
bot is needed to do this automatically**
