Summary: After insertion of (From, To), v is affected iff depth(NCD)+1 < depth(v) && path P from To to v exists where every w on P s.t. depth(v) <= depth(w) All affected vertices change their idom to NCD. If a vertex u has changed its depth, it must be a descendant of an affected vertex v. Its depth must have been updated by UpdateLevel() called by setIDom() of the first affected ancestor. So UpdateLevelsAfterInsertion and its bookkeeping variable VisitedNotAffectedQueue are redundant. Run them only in debug builds as a sanity check. The LLVM Compiler Infrastructure ================================ This directory and its subdirectories contain source code for LLVM, a toolkit for the construction of highly optimized compilers, optimizers, and runtime environments. LLVM is open source software. You may freely distribute it under the terms of the license agreement found in LICENSE.txt. Please see the documentation provided in docs/ for further assistance with LLVM, and in particular docs/GettingStarted.rst for getting started with LLVM and docs/README.txt for an overview of LLVM's documentation setup. If you are writing a package for LLVM, see docs/Packaging.rst for our suggestions.
