There is a problem in VSXSwapRemoval where it is incorrectly removing permute instructions. In this case, the permute is feeding both a vector store and also a non-store instruction. In this case, the permute cannot be removed. The fix is to simply look at all the uses of the vector register defined by the permute and ensure that all the uses are vector store instructions. This problem was reported in PR 27735 (https://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=27735). Test case based on the original problem reported. Low Level Virtual Machine (LLVM) ================================ This directory and its subdirectories contain source code for LLVM, a toolkit for the construction of highly optimized compilers, optimizers, and runtime environments. LLVM is open source software. You may freely distribute it under the terms of the license agreement found in LICENSE.txt. Please see the documentation provided in docs/ for further assistance with LLVM, and in particular docs/GettingStarted.rst for getting started with LLVM and docs/README.txt for an overview of LLVM's documentation setup. If you are writing a package for LLVM, see docs/Packaging.rst for our suggestions.
