Nico Weber 379a1952b3 [ms] Reintroduce feature guards in intrinsic headers in Microsoft mode
Visual Studio's C++ standard library headers include intrin.h, so the intrinsic
headers get included a lot more often in Microsoft mode than elsewhere. The
AVX512 intrinsics are a lot of code (0.7 MB, causing 30% compile time overhead
for small programs including e.g. <string> and 6% compile time overhead for
larger projects like e.g. v8). Since multiversioning can't be relied on in
Microsoft mode (cl.exe doesn't support it), having faster compiles seems like
the much better tradeoff until we have a better intrinsic story going forward
(which we'll need for e.g. PR19898).

Actually using intrinsics on Windows already requires the right /arch:
settings, so this patch should have no big behavior change.

See also thread "The intrinsics headers (especially avx512) are too big. What
to do about it?" on cfe-dev.

Bruno Cardoso Lopes b171a59bfd [Modules] Use vfs for (recursive) directory iteration
Clang performs directory walk while searching headers inside modules by
using the ::sys::fs instead of ::vfs. This prevents any code that uses
the VFS (e.g, reproducer scripts) to actually find such headers, since
the VFS will never be searched for those.

Change these places to use vfs::recursive_directory_iterator and
vfs::directory_iterator instead.

Sean Callanan 041cceb019 Handle injected class names in the ASTImporter.
Every class as parsed by Clang has a forward declaration of itself as a member:

class A {
  class A;
  ...
}

but when the parser generates this it ensures that the RecordTypes for the two
are the same. This makes (among other things) inheritance work. This patch
fixes a bug where the ASTImporter generated two separate RecordTypes when
importing the class and the contained forward declaration, and adds a test case.

Thanks to Doug Gregor for advice on this.

Adrian McCarthy e4b26fc7a7 Get default -fms-compatibility-version from cl.exe's version
-fms-compatibility-version was defaulting to 18 (VS 2013), which is a pain if your environment is pointing to version 19 (VS 2015) libraries.

If cl.exe can be found, this patch uses its version number as the default instead. It re-uses the existing code to find the Visual Studio binaries folder and WinAPI methods to check its version. You can still explicitly specify a compatibility version on the command line. If you don't have cl.exe, this should be a no-op and you'll get the old default of 18.

This affected the tests, which assumed that if you didn't specific a version, that it would default to 18, but this won't be true for all machines. So a couple test cases had to be eliminated and a couple others had to be tweaked to allow for various outputs.

Bruno Cardoso Lopes b3a0fa4863 [ModuleMap][CrashReproducer] Collect headers from inner frameworks
(1) Collect headers under inner frameworks (frameworks inside other
other frameworks).
(2) Make sure we also collect the right header files inside them.

More info on (2):

Consider a dummy framework module B, with header Frameworks/B/B.h. Now
consider that another framework A, with header Frameworks/A/A.h, has a
layout with a inner framework Frameworks/A/Frameworks/B/B.h, where the
"B/B.h" part is a symlink for Frameworks/B/B.h. Also assume that
Frameworks/A/A.h includes <B/B.h>.

When parsing header Frameworks/A/A.h, framework module lookup is
performed in search for B, and it happens that
"Frameworks/A/Frameworks/B/B.h" path is registered in the module instead
of real "Frameworks/B/B.h". This occurs because
"Frameworks/A/Frameworks/B/B.h" is scanned first by the FileManager,
when looking for inner framework modules under Frameworks/A/Frameworks.
This makes Frameworks/A/Frameworks/B/B.h the default cached named inside
the FileManager for the B.h file UID.

This leads to modules being built without consistent paths to underlying
header files. This is usually not a problem in regular compilation flow,
but it's an issue when running the crash reproducer. The issue is that
clangs collect "Frameworks/A/Frameworks/B/B.h" but not
"Frameworks/B/B.h" into the VFS, leading to err_mmap_umbrella_clash. So
make sure we also collect the original header.

Oleg Ranevskyy 7232f66051 [CodeGen] Clang does not choose aapcs-vfp calling convention for ARM bare metal target with hard float (EABIHF)
Summary:
Clang does not detect `aapcs-vfp` for the EABIHF environment. The reason is that only GNUEABIHF is considered while choosing calling convention, EABIHF is ignored.

This causes clang to use `aapcs` for EABIHF and add the `arm_aapcscc` specifier to functions in generated IR.

The modified `arm-cc.c` test checks that no calling convention specifier is added to functions for EABIHF, which means the default one is used (`CallingConv::ARM_AAPCS_VFP`).

David Majnemer 7f980d842c [MS ABI] Don't crash when zero-initializing a vbase which contains a vbase
Bases can be zero-initialized: the storage is zero-initialized before
the base constructor is run.
The MS ABI has a quirk where base VBPtrs are not installed by the
base constructor but by the most derived class. In particular, they are
installed before the base constructor is run.
The derived constructor must be careful to zero-initialize only the bits
of the class which haven't already been populated by virtual base
pointers.

While we correctly avoided this scenario, we didn't handle the case
where the base class has virtual bases which have virtual bases.

Derek Schuff cc42df4a30 Do not register incompatible C++ destructors with __cxa_atexit
Summary:
For a static object with a nontrivial destructor, clang generates an
initializer function (__cxx_global_var_init) which registers that
object's destructor using __cxa_atexit. However some ABIs (ARM,
WebAssembly) use destructors that return 'this' instead of having void
return (which does not match the signature of function pointers passed
to __cxa_atexit). This results in undefined behavior when the destructors are
called. All the calling conventions I know of on ARM can tolerate this,
but WebAssembly requires the signatures of indirect calls to match the
called function.

This patch disables that direct registration of destructors for ABIs
that have this-returning destructors.

George Burgess IV 3dc1669133 [Sema] Fix an overload resolution bug with enable_if.
Currently, if clang::isBetterOverloadCandidate encounters an enable_if
attribute on either candidate that it's inspecting, it will ignore all
lower priority attributes (e.g. pass_object_size). This is problematic
in cases like:

```
void foo(char *c) __attribute__((enable_if(1, "")));
void foo(char *c __attribute__((pass_object_size(0))))
    __attribute__((enable_if(1, "")));
```

...Because we would ignore the pass_object_size attribute in the second
`foo`, and consider any call to `foo` to be ambiguous.

This patch makes overload resolution consult further tiebreakers (e.g.
pass_object_size) if two candidates have equally good enable_if
attributes.

This patch corresponds to reviews:
http://reviews.llvm.org/D15120
http://reviews.llvm.org/D19125

It adds support for the __float128 keyword, literals and target feature to
enable it. Based on the latter of the two aforementioned reviews, this feature
is enabled on Linux on i386/X86 as well as SystemZ.
This is also the second attempt in commiting this feature. The first attempt
did not enable it on required platforms which caused failures when compiling
type_traits with -std=gnu++11.

If you see failures with compiling this header on your platform after this
commit, it is likely that your platform needs to have this feature enabled.

Add support to expand the `=` as a prefix of the include path with the sysroot

path substituted. If no `--sysroot=` or `-isysroot` option is present, the = is
not expanded.

This commit fixes the IdentifierIterator to actually include identifiers

using the module index, whereas code-completion only started relying on

r268261 made Clang "expand" more struct arguments on Windows. It removed
the check for 'RD->isCLike()', which was preventing us from attempting
to expand structs with reference type fields.

Our expansion code was attempting to load and pass each field of the
type in turn. We were accidentally doing one to many loads on reference
type fields.

On the function prologue side, we can use
EmitLValueForFieldInitialization, which obviously gets the address of
the field. On the call side, I tweaked EmitRValueForField directly,
since this is the only use of this method.

Akira Hatanaka 3ba6535096 [CodeGenObjCXX] Don't rematerialize default arguments of function

This fixes a bug where clang would materialize the default argument
inside the body of a block instead of passing the value via the block
descriptor.

For example, in the code below, foo1 would always print 42 regardless
of the value of argument "a" passed to foo1.

void foo1(const int a = 42 ) {
  auto block = ^{

Reid Kleckner 0404605dda Expand aggregate arguments more often on 32-bit Windows
Before this change, we would pass all non-HFA record arguments on
Windows with byval. Byval often blocks optimizations and results in bad
code generation. Windows now uses the existing workaround that other
x86_32 platforms use.

I also expanded the workaround to handle C++ records with constructors
on Windows. On non-Windows platforms, we have to keep generating the
same LLVM IR prototypes if we want our bitcode to be ABI compatible.
Otherwise we will encounter mismatch issues like PR21573.

Essentially fixes PR27522 in Clang instead of LLVM.

if we are parsing a template specialization.

This commit makes changes to clear the TemplateParamScope bit and set
the TemplateParamParent field of the current scope to null if a template
specialization is being parsed.

Before this commit, Sema::ActOnStartOfLambdaDefinition would check
whether the parent template scope had any decls to determine whether
or not a template specialization was being parsed. This wasn't correct
since it couldn't distinguish between a real template specialization and
a template defintion with an unnamed template parameter (only template
parameters with names are added to the scope's decl list). To fix the
bug, this commit changes the code to check the pointer to the parent
template scope rather than the decl list.

Reid Kleckner f463a8a424 Avoid -Wshadow warnings about constructor parameters named after fields
Usually these parameters are used solely to initialize the field in the
initializer list, and there is no real shadowing confusion.

There is a new warning under -Wshadow called
-Wshadow-field-in-constructor-modified. It attempts to find
modifications of such constructor parameters that probably intended to
modify the field.

It has some false negatives, though, so there is another warning group,
-Wshadow-field-in-constructor, which always warns on this special case.
For users who just want the old behavior and don't care about these fine
grained groups, we have a new warning group called -Wshadow-all that
activates everything.

directive.

OpenMP 4.5 defines 'taskloop' directive and 2 additional clauses
'grainsize' and 'num_tasks' for this directive. Patch adds codegen for
these clauses.
These clauses are generated as arguments of the '__kmpc_taskloop'
libcall and are encoded the following way:

void __kmpc_taskloop(ident_t *loc, int gtid, kmp_task_t *task, int if_val, kmp_uint64 *lb, kmp_uint64 *ub, kmp_int64 st, int nogroup,  int sched, kmp_uint64 grainsize, void *task_dup);

If 'grainsize' is specified, 'sched' argument must be set to '1' and
'grainsize' argument must be set to the value of the 'grainsize' clause.
If 'num_tasks' is specified, 'sched' argument must be set to '2' and
'grainsize' argument must be set to the value of the 'num_tasks' clause.
It is possible because these 2 clauses are mutually exclusive and can't
be used at the same time on the same directive.
If none of these clauses is specified, 'sched' argument must be set to
'0'.

only have visibility within the LTO'd part of the linkage unit. Therefore,
only enable these features for classes with hidden LTO visibility. This
notion is based on object file visibility or (on Windows)
dllimport/dllexport attributes.

We provide the [[clang::lto_visibility_public]] attribute to override the
compiler's LTO visibility inference in cases where the class is defined
in the non-LTO'd part of the linkage unit, or where the ABI supports
calling classes derived from abstract base classes with hidden visibility
in other linkage units (e.g. COM on Windows).

If the cross-DSO CFI mode is enabled, bitset checks are emitted even for
classes with public LTO visibility, as that mode uses a separate mechanism
to cause bitsets to be exported.

This mechanism replaces the whole-program-vtables blacklist, so remove the
-fwhole-program-vtables-blacklist flag.

Because __declspec(uuid()) now implies [[clang::lto_visibility_public]], the
support for the special attr:uuid blacklist entry is removed.

The Decl::isUsed has a value for every decl. In non-module builds it is very
difficult (but possible) to break this invariant but when we walk up the redecl

When deserializing the decls from a module it is much more difficult to update
correctly this invariant. The patch centralizes the information whether a decl
is used in the canonical decl marking the entire entity as being used.

Nico Weber 47bf505775 driver: Add a `--rsp-quoting` flag to pick response file quoting.
Currently, clang-cl always uses Windows style for unquoting, and clang always
uses POSIX style for unquoting.

With this flag, it's possible to change these defaults.

In general, response file quoting should match the shell the response file is
used in. On Windows, it's possible to run clang-cl in a bash shell, or clang in
cmd.exe, so a flag for overriding the default behavior is natural there.

On non-Windows, Windows quoting probably never makes sense (except maybe in
Wine), but having clang-cl behave differently based on the host OS seems
strange too. So require that people who want to use posix-style response
files with clang-cl on non-Windows pass --rsp-quoting=posix.

Reid Kleckner ea53dba78b Fix a bug involving deferred decl emission and PCH
For various reasons, involving dllexport and class linkage compuations,
we have to wait until after the semicolon after a class declaration to
emit inline methods. These are "deferred" decls. Before this change,
finishing the tag decl would trigger us to deserialize some PCH so that
we could make a "pretty" IR-level type. Deserializing the PCH triggered
calls to HandleTopLevelDecl, which, when done, checked the deferred decl
list, and emitted some dllexported decls that weren't ready.

Avoid this re-entrancy. Deferred decls should not get emitted when a tag
is finished, they should only be emitted after a real top level decl in
the main file.

int x = 5.5 + 3.5;

-Wfloat-zero-conversion - The expression converted has a non-zero floating
point value that gets converted to a zero integer value, excluded the cases
falling under -Wliteral-conversion. Subset of -Wfloat-conversion.
int x = 1.0 / 2.0;

-Wfloat-overflow-conversion - The floating point value is outside the range
of the integer type, exluding cases from -Wliteral conversion. Subset of
-Wfloat-conversion.
char x = 500;
char x = -1000;

-Wfloat-bool-conversion - Any conversion of a floating point type to bool.
Subset of -Wfloat-conversion.

bool x = 5.0;

-Wfloat-bool-constant-conversion - Conversion of a compile time evaluatable
floating point value to bool. Subset of -Wfloat-bool-conversion.

Summary:
https://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=27396

This fixes an issue in response files where "\r\n" was being interpreted
as two EOL markers (i.e. we consumed the '\r' as terminating the
previous token, and then parsed the '\n' as a significant EOL). This
breaks response files where joined arguments get split across multiple
lines (like "-x\r\nc"). I also fixed an accidental issue in the
response-file.c test, where the response file is appended to, instead of
being overwritten.

Ahmed Bougacha 1d9de10130 [ARM NEON] Define vfms_f32 on ARM, and all vfms using vfma.
r259537 added vfma/vfms to armv7, but the builtin was only lowered
on the AArch64 side. Instead of supporting it on ARM, get rid of it.

The vfms builtin lowered to:
  %nb = fsub float -0.0, %b
  %r = @llvm.fma.f32(%a, %nb, %c)

Instead, define the operation in terms of vfma, and swap the
multiplicands. It now lowers to:
  %na = fsub float -0.0, %a
  %r = @llvm.fma.f32(%na, %b, %c)

This matches the instruction more closely, and lets current LLVM
generate the "natural" operand ordering:
  fmls.2s v0, v1, v2
instead of the crooked (but equivalent):
  fmls.2s v0, v2, v1
Except for theses changes, assembly is identical.

LLVM accepts both commutations, and the LLVM tests in:
  test/CodeGen/AArch64/arm64-fmadd.ll
  test/CodeGen/AArch64/fp-dp3.ll
  test/CodeGen/AArch64/neon-fma.ll
  test/CodeGen/ARM/fusedMAC.ll
already check either the new one only, or both.

Also verified against the test-suite unittests.

  typedef __attribute__((__ext_vector_type__(16))) char v16i8;
  struct HFA {
    v3f32 a;
    v16i8 b;

as an HFA. Since the first type encountered is used as the base type,
we pass the HFA as:
    [2 x <3 x float>]
Which leads to incorrect IR (relying on padding values) when the
second field is used.

Instead, explicitly widen the vector (after size rounding) in

Faisal Vali 5e9e8ac432 Implement CWG 941 - explicit specializations of deleted function templates
template<class T> void f(T) = delete;
  template<> void f(int); // OK.

  f(3); // OK

Implementation strategy:

When an explicit specialization of a function template, a member function template or a member function of a class template is declared, clang first implicitly instantiates the declaration of a specialization from the templated-entity being explicitly specialized (since their signatures must be the same) and then links the explicit specialization being declared as a redeclaration of the aforementioned specialization.

The problem was that when clang 'implicitly instantiates' the initial specialization, it marks the corresponding FunctionDecl as deleted if the corresponding templated-entity was deleted, rather than waiting to see whether the explicit specialization being declared provides a non-deleted body. (The eager marking of delete has advantages during overload resolution I suppose, where we don't have to try and instantiate a definition of the function to see if it is deleted).

The present fix entails recognizing that when clang knows that an explicit specialization is being declared (for whichever templated-entity), the prior implicit instantiation should not inherit the 'deleted' status, and so we reset it to false.

I suppose an alternative fix (amongst others) could consider creating a new context (ExplicitSpecializationDeclarationSubstitution or some such) that is checked during template-argument-deduction and final substitution, and avoid inheriting the deleted status during declaration substitution. But while conceptually cleaner, that would be a slightly more involved change (as could be some of the other alternatives: such as avoid tagging implicit specializations as deleted, and check their primary templates for the deleted status where needed), and so I chose a different path. Hopefully it'll prove to not be a bad choice.

Duncan P. N. Exon Smith f9521b0bb7 DebugInfo: Make DICompositeTypes distinct most of the time
Since elements of most kinds of DICompositeType have back references,
most are involved in uniquing cycles. Except via the ODR 'identifier:'
field, which doesn't care about the storage type (see r266549),
they have no hope of being uniqued.

Distinct nodes are far more efficient, so use them for most kinds of
DICompositeType definitions (i.e., when DIType::isForwardDecl is false).
The exceptions:

  - DW_TAG_array_type, since their elements never have back-references
    and they never have ODR 'identifier:' fields;

  - DW_TAG_enumeration_type when there is no ODR 'identifier:' field,
    since their elements usually don't have back-references.

This breaks the last major uniquing cycle I'm aware of in the debug info
graph. The impact won't be enormous for C++ because references to
ODR-uniqued nodes still use string-based DITypeRefs; but this should
prevent a regression in C++ when we drop the string-based references.

This wouldn't have been reasonable until r266549, when composite types
stopped relying on being uniqued by structural equivalence to prevent
blow-ups at LTO time.

Nemanja Ivanovic 50f29e06a1 Enable support for __float128 in Clang
This patch corresponds to review:
http://reviews.llvm.org/D15120

It adds support for the __float128 keyword, literals and a target feature to
enable it. This support is disabled by default on all targets and any target
that has support for this type is free to add it.

Based on feedback that I've received from target maintainers, this appears to
be the right thing for most targets. I have not heard from the maintainers of
X86 which I believe supports this type. I will subsequently investigate the
impact of enabling this on X86.

Akira Hatanaka 2d3690bc98 [ObjC] Pop all cleanups created in EmitObjCForCollectionStmt before
exiting the for-in loop.

This commit fixes a bug where EmitObjCForCollectionStmt didn't pop
cleanups for captures.

For example, in the following for-in loop, a block which captures self
is passed to foo1:

for (id x in [self foo1:^{ use(self); }]) {
  use(x);
  break;
}

Previously, the code in EmitObjCForCollectionStmt wouldn't pop the
cleanup for the captured self before exiting the loop, which caused
code-gen to generate an IR in which objc_release was called twice on
the captured self.

This commit fixes the bug by entering a RunCleanupsScope before the
loop condition is evaluated and forcing its cleanup before exiting the
loop.

Devin Coughlin 49bd58f1eb [analyzer] Nullability: Suppress return diagnostics in inlined functions.
The nullability checker can sometimes miss detecting nullability precondition
violations in inlined functions because the binding for the parameter
that violated the precondition becomes dead before the return:

int * _Nonnull callee(int * _Nonnull p2) {
  if (!p2)
    // p2 becomes dead here, so binding removed.
    return 0; // warning here because value stored in p2 is symbolic.
  else
   return p2;
}

int *caller(int * _Nonnull p1) {
  return callee(p1);
}

The fix, which is quite blunt, is to not warn about null returns in inlined
methods/functions. This won’t lose much coverage for ObjC because the analyzer
always analyzes each ObjC method at the top level in addition to inlined. It
*will* lose coverage for C — but there aren’t that many codebases with C
nullability annotations.

Nico Weber fd3e1ad0ce clang-cl: Remove -isystem, add -imsvc.
r260990 exposed -isystem in clang-cl. -isystem adds a directory to the front of
the system include search path. The idea was to use this to point to a hermetic
msvc install, but as it turns out this doesn't work: -isystem then adds the
hermetic headers in front of clang's builtin headers, and clang's headers that
are supposed to wrap msvc headers (say, stdarg.h) aren't picked up at all
anymore.

So revert that, and instead expose -imsvc which works as if the passed
directory was part of %INCLUDE%: The header is treated as a system header, but
it is searched after clang's lib/Header headers.

Fixes half of PRPR26751.

merge that with any pre-existing definition to determine which the canonical

Alexey Bader 954ba21f85 [OpenCL] Complete image types support.
I. Current implementation of images is not conformant to spec in the following points:
  1. It makes no distinction with respect to access qualifiers and therefore allows to use images with different access type interchangeably. The following code would compile just fine:

        void write_image(write_only image2d_t img);
        kernel void foo(read_only image2d_t img) { write_image(img); } // Accepted code

     which is disallowed according to s6.13.14.

  2. It discards access qualifier on generated code, which leads to generated code for the above example:

        call void @write_image(%opencl.image2d_t* %img);

     In OpenCL2.0 however we can have different calls into write_image with read_only and wite_only images.
     Also generally following compiler steps have no easy way to take different path depending on the image access: linking to the right implementation of image types, performing IR opts and backend codegen differently.

  3. Image types are language keywords and can't be redeclared s6.1.9, which can happen currently as they are just typedef names.
  4. Default access qualifier read_only is to be added if not provided explicitly.

II. This patch corrects the above points as follows:
  1. All images are encapsulated into a separate .def file that is inserted in different points where image handling is required. This avoid a lot of code repetition as all images are handled the same way in the code with no distinction of their exact type.
  2. The Cartesian product of image types and image access qualifiers is added to the builtin types. This simplifies a lot handling of access type mismatch as no operations are allowed by default on distinct Builtin types. Also spec intended access qualifier as special type qualifier that are combined with an image type to form a distinct type (see statement above - images can't be created w/o access qualifiers).
  3. Improves testing of images in Clang.

CodeGen-level implementation. Instead of adding an attribute to clang's
FunctionDecl, add the IR attribute directly. This means a module built with
this flag is now compatible with code built without it and vice versa.

This change also results in the 'noalias' attribute no longer being added to
calls to operator new in the IR; it's now only added to the declaration. It
also fixes a bug where we failed to add the attribute to the 'nothrow' versions
(because we didn't implicitly declare them, there was no good time to inject a
fake attribute).

Ed Schouten 506f295a10 Enable PIE for CloudABI.
As we're currently working on making CloudABI executables easier to
emulate in userspace (e.g., on OS X and Windows), it makes a whole lot
of sense to build these using PIE. By using PIE, they can simply be
loaded into the existing process address space without clashes.

PIE support got added to CloudABI's C library and seems to work pretty
well. CloudABI does not make use of an ld.so, so the binary's _start()
has all the logic in it to do the relocations.

Now that all but one bug in LLD relating to PIE support have been
squashed (and a patch for that is already in code review), I'd like to
go ahead and force the use of PIE for Clang 3.9. When released, we'll
also switch over to using LLD exclusively.

Carlo Bertolli c687225b43 [OPENMP] Codegen for teams directive for NVPTX
This patch implements the teams directive for the NVPTX backend. It is different from the host code generation path as it:

Does not call kmpc_fork_teams. All necessary teams and threads are started upon touching the target region, when launching a CUDA kernel, and their execution is coordinated through sequential and parallel regions within the target region.
Does not call kmpc_push_num_teams even if a num_teams of thread_limit clause is present. Setting the number of teams and the thread limit is implemented by the nvptx-related runtime.
Please note that I am now passing a Clang Expr * to emitPushNumTeams instead of the originally chosen llvm::Value * type. The reason for that is that I want to avoid emitting expressions for num_teams and thread_limit if they are not needed in the target region.

Douglas Gregor 24ae22c047 [Objective-C] Introduce objc_runtime_visible attribute.
The objc_runtime_visible attribute deals with an odd corner case where
a particular Objective-C class is known to the Objective-C runtime

Classes annotated with objc_runtime_visible have two major limitations

Akira Hatanaka 68ab7fe1c8 [CodeGenCXX] Fix ItaniumCXXABI::getAlignmentOfExnObject to return 8-byte
alignment on Darwin.

Itanium C++ ABI specifies that _Unwind_Exception should be double-word
aligned (16B). To conform to the ABI, libraries implementing exception
handling declare the struct with __attribute__((aligned)), which aligns
the unwindHeader field (and the end of __cxa_exception) to the default
target alignment (which is typically 16-bytes).

struct __cxa_exception {
  ...
  // struct is declared with __attribute__((aligned)).
  _Unwind_Exception unwindHeader;
};

Based on the assumption that _Unwind_Exception is declared with
__attribute__((aligned)), ItaniumCXXABI::getAlignmentOfExnObject returns
the target default alignment for __attribute__((aligned)). It turns out
that libc++abi, which is used on Darwin, doesn't declare the struct with
the attribute and therefore doesn't guarantee that unwindHeader is
aligned to the alignment specified by the ABI, which in some cases
causes the program to crash because of unaligned memory accesses.

This commit avoids crashes due to unaligned memory accesses by having
getAlignmentOfExnObject return an 8-byte alignment on Darwin. I've only
fixed the problem for Darwin, but we should also figure out whether other
platforms using libc++abi need similar fixes.

George Burgess IV 21d3bffe29 [Sema] Fix PR27122: ICE with enable_if+ill-formed call.
In some cases, when we encounter a direct function call with an
incorrect number of arguments, we'll emit a diagnostic, and pretend that
the call to the function was valid. For example, in C:

int foo();
int a = foo(1);

Prior to this patch, we'd get an ICE if foo had an enable_if attribute,
because CheckEnableIf assumes that the number of arguments it gets
passed is valid for the function it's passed. Now, we check that the
number of args looks valid prior to checking enable_if conditions.

This fix was not done inside of CheckEnableIf because the problem
presently can only occur in one caller of CheckEnableIf (ActOnCallExpr).
Additionally, checking inside of CheckEnableIf would make us emit

Bruno Cardoso Lopes e62cfd7c17 [CrashReproducer] Add a module map callback for added headers
The current ModuleDependencyCollector has a AST listener to collect
header files present in loaded modules, but this isn't enough to collect
all headers needed in the crash reproducer. One of the reasons is that
the AST writer doesn't write symbolic link header paths in the pcm modules,
this makes the listeners on the reader only able to collect the real files.

Since the module maps could contain submodules that use headers which
are symbolic links, not collecting those forbid the reproducer scripts
to regen the modules.

For instance:

usr/include/module.map:
  ...
  module pthread {
    header "pthread.h"
    export *

    module impl {
      header "pthread_impl.h"
      export *
    }
  }
  ...

usr/include/pthread/pthread_impl.h
usr/include/pthread_impl.h -> pthread/pthread_impl.h

The AST dump for the module above:

  <SUBMODULE_HEADER abbrevid=6/> blob data = 'pthread_impl.h'
  <SUBMODULE_TOPHEADER abbrevid=7/> blob data = '/<path_to_sdk>/usr/include/pthread/pthread_impl.h'

Note that we don't have "usr/include/pthread_impl.h" which is requested
by the module.map in case we want to reconstruct the module in the
reproducer. The reason the original symbolic link path isn't used is
because the headers are kept by name and requested through the
FileManager, which unique files and returns the real path only.

To fix that, add a callback to be invoked everytime a header is added
while parsing module maps and hook that up to the module dependecy
collector. This callback is only registered when generating the
reproducer.

Justin Lebar ba122ab42f [CUDA] Make unattributed constexpr functions implicitly host+device.
With this patch, by a constexpr function is implicitly host+device
unless:

 a) it's a variadic function (variadic functions are not allowed on the
    device side), or
 b) it's preceeded by a __device__ overload in a system header.

The restriction on overloading __host__ __device__ functions on the
basis of their CUDA attributes remains in place, but we use (b) to allow
us to define __device__ overloads for constexpr functions in cmath,
which would otherwise be __host__ __device__ and thus not overloadable.

You can disable this behavior with -fno-cuda-host-device-constexpr.

Oleg Ranevskyy b88d2474df [Clang][ARM] __va_list declaration is not saved in ASTContext causing compilation error or crash
Summary:
When the code is compiled for arm32 and the builtin `__va_list` declaration is created by `CreateAAPCSABIBuiltinVaListDecl`, the declaration is not saved in the `ASTContext` which may lead to a compilation error or crash.

Minimal reproducer I was able to find:
**header.h**
```
#include <stdarg.h>
typedef va_list va_list_1;
```

**test.cpp**
```
typedef __builtin_va_list va_list_2;
void foo(const char* format, ...) { va_list args; va_start( args, format ); }
```

Steps to reproduce:
```
clang -x c++-header --target=armv7l-linux-eabihf header.h
clang -c -include header.h --target=armv7l-linux-eabihf test.cpp
```

Compilation error:
```
error: non-const lvalue reference to type '__builtin_va_list'
      cannot bind to a value of unrelated type 'va_list' (aka '__builtin_va_list')
```

Compiling the same code as a C source leads to a crash:
```
clang --target=armv7l-linux-eabihf header.h
clang -c -x c -include header.h --target=armv7l-linux-eabihf test.cpp
At the point when we start serializing Rtypes, we have no imported IdentifierID
