The __kindof type qualifier can be applied to Objective-C object
(pointer) types to indicate id-like behavior, which includes implicit
"downcasting" of __kindof types to subclasses and id-like message-send
behavior. __kindof types provide better type bounds for substitutions
into unspecified generic types, which preserves more type information.

to provide proper overloading, and also prevents mangling conflicts with

This is a non-backward-compatible mangling change, but per discussion with
John, the benefits outweigh this cost.
Fixes <rdar://problem/14074822>.

- This is designed to make it obvious that %clang_cc1 is a "test variable"
which is substituted. It is '%clang_cc1' instead of '%clang -cc1' because it
can be useful to redefine what gets run as 'clang -cc1' (for example, to set
a default target).
