Add a new llvm.amdgcn.ballot intrinsic modeled on the ballot function
in GLSL and other shader languages. It returns a bitfield containing the
result of its boolean argument in all active lanes, and zero in all
inactive lanes.
This is intended to replace the existing llvm.amdgcn.icmp and
llvm.amdgcn.fcmp intrinsics after a suitable transition period.
Use the new intrinsic in the atomic optimizer pass.
Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D65088
Summary:
Consider:
%r = call i32 @llvm.amdgcn.writelane(i32 0, i32 1, i32 2)
This produces a value that is 0 on lane 1, and 2 everywhere else; i.e.,
it is divergent.

The mask results of these should be uniform. The trickier part is the
dummy booleans used as IR glue need to be treated as divergent. This
should make the divergence analysis results correct for the IR the DAG
is constructed from.
This should allow us to eliminate requiresUniformRegister, which has
an expensive, recursive scan over all users looking for control flow
intrinsics. This should avoid recent compile time regressions.
Summary: Fixes crash that could occur when a divergent terminator has an unreachable parent.

This patch makes the SDA propagate branch divergence until the end of the RPO traversal. Before, the SyncDependenceAnalysis propagated divergence only until the IPD in rpo order. RPO is incompatible with post dominance in the presence of loops. This made the SDA crash because blocks were missed in the propagation.

Also explicitly port over some tests in llvm.amdgcn.image.* that were
missing. Some tests are removed because they no longer apply (i.e.
explicitly testing building an address vector via insertelement).
This is in preparation for the eventual removal of the old-style
intrinsics.
Some additional notes:
- constant-address-space-32bit.ll: change some GCN-NEXT to GCN because
the instruction schedule was subtly altered
- insert_vector_elt.ll: the old test didn't actually test anything,
because %tmp1 was not used; remove the load, because it doesn't work
(Because of the amdgpu_ps calling convention? In any case, it's
orthogonal to what the test claims to be testing.)

These new image intrinsics contain the texture type as part of
their name and have each component of the address/coordinate as
individual parameters.
This is a preparatory step for implementing the A16 feature, where
coordinates are passed as half-floats or -ints, but the Z compare
value and texel offsets are still full dwords, making it difficult
or impossible to distinguish between A16 on or off in the old-style
intrinsics.
Additionally, these intrinsics pass the 'texfailpolicy' and
'cachectrl' as i32 bit fields to reduce operand clutter and allow
for future extensibility.

the same as compute kernels. Make this explicit so the default
calling convention can be changed to a non-kernel.
Converted with perl -pi -e 's/define void/define amdgpu_kernel void/'

wanted a non-kernel).

- Rename the ptx.read.* intrinsics to nvvm.read.ptx.sreg.* - some but

If a PHI has an incoming undef, we can pretend that it is equal to one

branch conditions that were uniform before StructurizeCFG to become
non-uniform afterwards, which confused the SIAnnotateControlFlow

These intrinsics expose the BUFFER_ATOMIC_* instructions and will be used

matches that of buffer.load.format and buffer.store.format, except that the
GLC bit is not exposed (it is automatically deduced based on whether the
return value is used).
The change of hasSideEffects is required for TableGen to accept the pattern
that matches the intrinsic.

Some optimizations such as jump threading and loop unswitching can negatively
affect performance when applied to divergent branches. The divergence analysis
added in this patch conservatively estimates which branches in a GPU program
can diverge. This information can then help LLVM to run certain optimizations
selectively.
