Sven van Haastregt 8e6099291d [OpenCL] Make generic addrspace optional for -fdeclare-opencl-builtins
Currently, -fdeclare-opencl-builtins always adds the generic address
space overloads of e.g. the vload builtin functions in OpenCL 3.0
mode, even when the generic address space feature is disabled.

Guard the generic address space overloads by the
`__opencl_c_generic_address_space` feature instead of by OpenCL
version.

Guard the private, global, and local overloads using the internal
`__opencl_c_named_address_space_builtins` feature.

Markus Böck e0b11c7659 [Support][NFC] Fix generic `ChildrenGetterTy` of `IDFCalculatorBase`
Both IDFCalculatorBase and its accompanying DominatorTreeBase only supports pointer nodes. The template argument is the block type itself and any uses of GraphTraits is therefore done via a pointer to the node type.
However, the ChildrenGetterTy type of IDFCalculatorBase has a use on just the node type instead of a pointer to the node type. Various parts of the monorepo has worked around this issue by providing specializations of GraphTraits for the node type directly, or not been affected by using specializations instead of the generic case. These are unnecessary however and instead the generic code should be fixed instead.

An example from within Tree is eg. A use of IDFCalculatorBase in InstrRefBasedImpl.cpp. It basically instantiates a IDFCalculatorBase<MachineBasicBlock, false> but due to the bug above then goes on to specialize GraphTraits<MachineBasicBlock> although GraphTraits<MachineBasicBlock*> exists (and should be used instead).

Similar dead code exists in clang which defines redundant GraphTraits to work around this bug.

This patch fixes both the original issue and removes the dead code that was used to work around the issue.

Simon Pilgrim 058c5dfc78 Raise the minimum Visual Studio version to VS2019
As raised here: https://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2021-November/153881.html

Now that VS2022 is on general release, LLVM is expected to build on VS2017, VS2019 and VS2022, which is proving hazardous to maintain due to changes in behaviour including preprocessor and constexpr changes. Plus of the few developers that work with VS, many have already moved to VS2019/22.

This patch proposes to raise the minimum supported version to VS2019 (16.x) - I've made the hard limit 16.0 or later, with the soft limit VS2019 16.7 - older versions of VS2019 are "allowed" (at your own risk) via the LLVM_FORCE_USE_OLD_TOOLCHAIN cmake flag.

Aaron Ballman 86797fdb6f Add BITINT_MAXWIDTH support
Part of the _BitInt feature in C2x
(http://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg14/www/docs/n2763.pdf) is a new
macro in limits.h named BITINT_MAXWIDTH that can be used to determine
the maximum width of a bit-precise integer type. This macro must expand
to a value that is at least as large as ULLONG_WIDTH.

This adds an implementation-defined macro named __BITINT_MAXWIDTH__ to
specify that value, which is used by limits.h for the standard macro.

This also limits the maximum bit width to 128 bits because backends do
not currently support all mathematical operations (such as division) on
wider types yet. This maximum is expected to be increased in the future.

This commit checks if a function is marked with the naked attribute
and, if it is, will silence the emission of any unused-parameter
warning.

Inside a naked function only the usage of basic ASM instructions is
expected. In this context the parameters can actually be used by
fetching them according to the underlying ABI. Since parameters might
be used through ASM instructions, the linter and the compiler will have
a hard time understanding if one of those is unused or not, therefore
no unused-parameter warning should ever be triggered whenever a
function is marked naked.

Ahmed Bougacha ecb502342c [ObjC] Emit selector load right before msgSend call.
We currently emit the selector load early, but only because we need
it to compute the signature (so that we know which msgSend variant to
call). We can prepare the signature with a plain undef, and replace
it with the materialized selector value if (and only if) needed, later.

Concretely, this usually doesn't have an effect, but tests need updating
because we reordered the receiver bitcast and the selector load, which
is always fine.

There is one notable change: with this, when a msgSend needs a
receiver null check, the selector is now loaded in the non-null
block, instead of before the null check. That should be a mild
improvement.

Chuanqi Xu f85ee6d56a [NFC] [AST] Move isSameEntity into ASTContext
Currently we are trying to implement the semantics of C++ Modules. A big
challenge would be the ODR checking. Previously we did this in
ASTReader, it would handle the cases like:
```
module;
export module a_module;
import another_module; //  check the ODR consistency here
```
or
```
export module m;
import a_module;
import another_module; // check the ODR consistency here
```

However, it wouldn't handle the case:
```
import another_module; // When we check ODR here, everything looks fine.
```

In the case, the read process is ended. But we need to check the ODR
still. To reuse the facility we do in ASTReader, this patch moves the
corresponding codes into ASTContext. This should be good since there
were facilities like `hasSameTemplateName` and `hasSameType`.

Although the patch is a little bit big, all of the change should be
trivial.

Underscore-uglified identifiers are used in standard library implementations to
guard against collisions with macros, and they hurt readability considerably.
(Consider `push_back(Tp_ &&__value)` vs `push_back(Tp value)`.
When we're describing an interface, the exact names of parameters are not
critical so we can drop these prefixes.

This patch adds a new PrintingPolicy flag that can applies this stripping
when recursively printing pieces of AST.
We set it in code completion/signature help, and in clangd's hover display.
All three features also do a bit of manual poking at names, so fix up those too.

Jan Svoboda 76cb4cd074 [clang] Fix serialized diagnostics edge-cases
The Clang frontend sometimes fails on the following assertion when launched with `-serialize-diagnostic-file <x>`:

```
Assertion failed: (BlockScope.empty() && CurAbbrevs.empty() && "Block imbalance"), function ~BitstreamWriter, file BitstreamWriter.h, line 125.
```

This was first noticed when passing an unknown command-line argument to `-cc1`.

It turns out the `DiagnosticConsumer::finish()` function should be called as soon as processing of all source files ends, but there are some code paths where that doesn't happen:

1. when command line parsing fails in `cc1_main()`,
2. when `!Act.PrepareToExecute(*this)` or `!createTarget()` evaluate to `true` in `CompilerInstance::ExecuteAction` and the function returns early.

This patch ensures `finish()` is called in all those code paths.
