Quentin Colombet d30a9585b8 [SelectionDAG] Teach the vector scalarizer about TRUNCATE.
When a truncate node defines a legal vector type but uses an illegal
vector type, the legalization process was splitting the vector until
<1 x vector> type, but then it was failing to scalarize the node because
it did not know how to handle TRUNCATE.

Hans Wennborg dc674a57d3 Fix test/Driver/cl-options.c test
The test builds an object file to be able to get into linking mode
with a valid obj file on the command-line. Using clang-cl for this,
which targets win32, caused problems on some buildbots, so just
use regular clang.

Hans Wennborg a8ef14f3f4 clang-cl: ignore compile-only options in link-only invocations.
Previously we would warn about unused arguments such as /MD when linking.
Clang already has logic to ignore compile-only options, e.g. for -D and -U.
This patch extends that to include clang-cl's compile-only options too.

Also, some clang-cl options should always be ignored. Doing this earlier
means they get ignored both for compilation and link-only invocations.

Daniel Malea 1efb418c9d Improve stability of Linux ProcessMonitor by not using fds for synchronization:
- ProcessMonitor::[Do|Serve]Operation no longer depend on file descriptors!
- removed unused member functions CloseFD and EnableIPC
- add semaphores to signal when an Operation is ready to be processed/complete.

This commit fixes a bug that was identified under stress-testing (i.e. build
LLVM while running tests) that led to LLDB becoming unresponsive because the
read/write operations on file descriptors in ProcessMonitor were not checked.

Other test runner improvement/convenience:
- pickup environment variables LLDB_LINUX_LOG and LLDB_LINUX_LOG_OPTIONS to
enable (Linux) logging when running the test suite. Example usage:

        $ LLDB_LINUX_LOG="mylog.txt" LLDB_LINUX_LOG_OPTIONS="process thread" python dotest.py

Summary:

- Win32 entry points cannot be overloaded.
- Win32 entry points implicitly return, similar to main.

Matt Arsenault 899f7d2b00 MemCpyOptimizer: Use max legal int size instead of pointer size
If there are no legal integers, assume 1 byte.

This makes more sense than using the pointer size as

It is conceivable to want to use some 64-bit pointers

Greg Clayton 52694e3bb8 <rdar://problem/15001220>
Fixed an issue with the lldb/test/lang/cpp/virtual test case had a virtual class that had a DW_TAG_inheritance child that was virtual and had a DW_AT_data_member_location of:

DW_AT_data_member_location( DW_OP_dup, DW_OP_deref, DW_OP_constu(0x00000018), DW_OP_minus, DW_OP_deref, DW_OP_plus )

We failed to evaluate this and then we were passing the incorrect offset back to clang and clang would crash. The AST external source has a function named LayoutRecordType which allows us to supply the virtual base class offsets, but that really doesn't make sense to do as clang will lay them out correctly. So we must ignore virtual base classes when doing layout.

is for DAG select. Ignore this op when emitting instructions.

Tim Northover c74e691c27 TableGen: give asm match classes deterministic order.
TableGen was sorting the entries in some of its internal data
structures by pointer. This order filtered through to the final
matching table and affected the diagnostics produced on bad assembly
occasionally.

It also turns out STL algorithms are ridiculously easy to misuse on
containers with custom order methods. (No bugs before, or now that I
know of, but plenty in the middle).

This should fix the sanitizer bot, which ends up with weird pointers.
