Rafael Espindola 0709a7bd1a Move alignment from MCSectionData to MCSection.
This starts merging MCSection and MCSectionData.

There are a few issues with the current split between MCSection and
MCSectionData.

* It optimizes the the not as important case. We want the production
of .o files to be really fast, but the split puts the information used
for .o emission in a separate data structure.

* The ELF/COFF/MachO hierarchy is not represented in MCSectionData,
leading to some ad-hoc ways to represent the various flags.

* It makes it harder to remember where each item is.

The attached patch starts merging the two by moving the alignment from
MCSectionData to MCSection.

Most of the patch is actually just dropping 'const', since
MCSectionData is mutable, but MCSection was not.

Tim Northover d6223a2471 AArch64: work around ld64 bug more aggressively.
ld64 currently mishandles internal pointer relocations (i.e.
ARM64_RELOC_UNSIGNED referred to by section & offset rather than symbol). The
existing __cfstring clause was an early discovery and workaround for this, but
the problem is wider and we should avoid such relocations wherever possible for
now.

This code should be reverted to allowing internal relocations as soon as
possible.

Ahmed Bougacha 190528703f [MC] Use LShr for constant evaluation of ">>" on ELF/arm64--darwin.
This matches other assemblers and is less unexpected (e.g. PR23227).
On ELF, I tried binutils gas v2.24 and nasm 2.10.09, and they both
agree on LShr. On COFF, I couldn't get my hands on an assembler yet,
so don't change the behavior. For now, don't change it on non-AArch64
Darwin either, as the other assembler is gas v1.38, which does an AShr.

Rafael Espindola 36a15cb975 Don't declare all text sections at the start of the .s
The code this patch removes was there to make sure the text sections went
before the dwarf sections. That is necessary because MachO uses offsets
relative to the start of the file, so adding a section can change relaxations.

The dwarf sections were being printed at the start just to produce symbols
pointing at the start of those sections.

The underlying issue was fixed in r231898. The dwarf sections are now printed
when they are about to be used, which is after we printed the text sections.

To make sure we don't regress, the patch makes the MachO streamer assert
if CodeGen puts anything unexpected after the DWARF sections.

Rafael Espindola cd584a809d Split the object streamer callback in one per file format.
There are two main advantages to doing this

* Targets that only need to handle one of the formats specially don't have
to worry about the others. For example, x86 now only registers a
  constructor for the COFF streamer.

* Changes to the arguments passed to one format constructor will not impact
  the other formats.

Rafael Espindola 2658554aec Add r224985 back with fixes.
The fixes are to note that AArch64 has additional restrictions on when local
relocations can be used. In particular, ld64 requires that relocations to
cstring/cfstrings use linker visible symbols.

Original message:

In an assembly expression like

bar:
  .long L0 + 1

the intended semantics is that bar will contain a pointer one byte past L0.

In sections that are merged by content (strings, 4 byte constants, etc), a
single position in the section doesn't give the linker enough information.
For example, it would not be able to tell a relocation must point to the
end of a string, since that would look just like the start of the next.

The solution used in ELF to use relocation with symbols if there is a non-zero
addend.

In MachO before this patch we would just keep all symbols in some sections.

This would miss some cases (only cstrings on x86_64 were implemented) and was
inefficient since most relocations have an addend of 0 and can be represented
without the symbol.

This patch implements the non-zero addend logic for MachO too.

Rafael Espindola d9c3e308f5 Add r224985 back with two fixes.
One is that AArch64 has additional restrictions on when local relocations can

The other is that ld64 requires the relocations to cstring to use linker

Will Newton 40f08faa70 Update AArch64 ELF relocations to ABI 1.0
This mostly entails adding relocations, however there are a couple of
changes to existing relocations:

1. R_AARCH64_NONE is defined to be zero rather than 256

R_AARCH64_NONE has been defined to be zero for a long time elsewhere
e.g. binutils and glibc since the submission of the AArch64 port in
2012 so this is required for compatibility.

2. R_AARCH64_TLSDESC_ADR_PAGE renamed to R_AARCH64_TLSDESC_ADR_PAGE21

I don't think there is any way for relocation names to leak out of LLVM
so this should not break anything.

Tested with check-all with no regressions.

Tim Northover 3b0846e8f7 AArch64/ARM64: move ARM64 into AArch64's place
This commit starts with a "git mv ARM64 AArch64" and continues out
from there, renaming the C++ classes, intrinsics, and other
target-local objects for consistency.

"ARM64" test directories are also moved, and tests that began their
life in ARM64 use an arm64 triple, those from AArch64 use an aarch64
triple. Both should be equivalent though.

This finishes the AArch64 merge, and everyone should feel free to
continue committing as normal now.

Tim Northover cc08e1fe1b AArch64/ARM64: remove AArch64 from tree prior to renaming ARM64.
I'm doing this in two phases for a better "git blame" record. This
commit removes the previous AArch64 backend and redirects all
functionality to ARM64. It also deduplicates test-lines and removes
orphaned AArch64 tests.

The next step will be "git mv ARM64 AArch64" and rewire most of the
tests.

Hopefully LLVM is still functional, though it would be even better if
no-one ever had to care because the rename happens straight
afterwards.

Kevin Enderby 96918bc406 Fix the assembler to print a better relocatable expression error
diagnostic that includes location information.

Currently if one has this assembly:

	.quad (0x1234 + (4 * SOME_VALUE))

where SOME_VALUE is undefined ones gets the less than
useful error message with no location information:

% clang -c x.s
clang -cc1as: fatal error: error in backend: expected relocatable expression

With this fix one now gets a more useful error message
with location information:

% clang -c x.s
x.s:5:8: error: expected relocatable expression
 .quad (0x1234 + (4 * SOME_VALUE))
       ^

To do this I plumbed the SMLoc through the MCObjectStreamer
EmitValue() and EmitValueImpl() interfaces so it could be used
when creating the MCFixup.

Chandler Carruth d174b72a28 [cleanup] Lift using directives, DEBUG_TYPE definitions, and even some
system headers above the includes of generated '.inc' files that
actually contain code. In a few targets this was already done pretty
consistently, but it wasn't done *really* consistently anywhere. It is
strictly cleaner IMO and necessary in a bunch of places where the
DEBUG_TYPE is referenced from the generated code. Consistency with the
necessary places trumps. Hopefully the build bots are OK with the
movement of intrin.h...

Rafael Espindola 5904e12bfa Completely rewrite ELFObjectWriter::RecordRelocation.
I started trying to fix a small issue, but this code has seen a small fix too
many.

The old code was fairly convoluted. Some of the issues it had:

* It failed to check if a symbol difference was in the some section when
  converting a relocation to pcrel.
* It failed to check if the relocation was already pcrel.
* The pcrel value computation was wrong in some cases (relocation-pc.s)
* It was missing quiet a few cases where it should not convert symbol
relocations to section relocations, leaving the backends to patch it up.
* It would not propagate the fact that it had changed a relocation to pcrel,
requiring a quiet nasty work around in ARM.
* It was missing comments.

Daniel Sanders 753e17629d Re-commit: Demote EmitRawText call in AsmPrinter::EmitInlineAsm() and remove hasRawTextSupport() call
Summary:
AsmPrinter::EmitInlineAsm() will no longer use the EmitRawText() call for
targets with mature MC support. Such targets will always parse the inline
assembly (even when emitting assembly). Targets without mature MC support
continue to use EmitRawText() for assembly output.

The hasRawTextSupport() check in AsmPrinter::EmitInlineAsm() has been replaced
with MCAsmInfo::UseIntegratedAs which when true, causes the integrated assembler
to parse inline assembly (even when emitting assembly output). UseIntegratedAs
is set to true for targets that consider any failure to parse valid assembly
to be a bug. Target specific subclasses generally enable the integrated
assembler in their constructor. The default value can be overridden with
-no-integrated-as.

All tests that rely on inline assembly supporting invalid assembly (for example,
those that use mnemonics such as 'foo' or 'hello world') have been updated to
disable the integrated assembler.

Changes since review (and last commit attempt):
- Fixed test failures that were missed due to configuration of local build.
(fixes crash.ll and a couple others).
- Fixed tests that happened to pass because the local build was on X86
  (should fix 2007-12-17-InvokeAsm.ll)
- mature-mc-support.ll's should no longer require all targets to be compiled.
(should fix ARM and PPC buildbots)
- Object output (-filetype=obj and similar) now forces the integrated assembler
to be enabled regardless of default setting or -no-integrated-as.
  (should fix SystemZ buildbots)

* A MCTargetStreamer can talk to the MCStreamer in its constructor.

This change is incorrect. If you delete virtual destructor of both a base class

  Base *foo = new Child();
  delete foo;
will not cause the destructor for members of Child class. As a result, I observe
plently of memory leaks. Notable examples I investigated are:
ObjectBuffer and ObjectBufferStream, AttributeImpl and StringSAttributeImpl.
