`GetRealStopInfo` has only one call site, and in that call site a reference to the
concrete thread plan is available (`ThreadPlanCallUserExpression`), from which
`GetRealStopInfo` can be called.

UserExpression::GetJITModule was used to support an option in
UserExpression::Evaluate that let you hold onto the JIT Module used during
the expression evaluation. This was only actually used in one spot --
REPL::IOHandlerInputComplete. That method didn't actually take use the
JIT module it got back, so this feature was not used in practice.
This means that we can delete the support in UserExpression::Evaluate
and delete the UserExpression::GetJITModule method entirely.
Summary:
A *.cpp file header in LLDB (and in LLDB) should like this:
```
//===-- TestUtilities.cpp -------------------------------------------------===//
```
However in LLDB most of our source files have arbitrary changes to this format and
these changes are spreading through LLDB as folks usually just use the existing
source files as templates for their new files (most notably the unnecessary
editor language indicator `-*- C++ -*-` is spreading and in every review
someone is pointing out that this is wrong, resulting in people pointing out that this
is done in the same way in other files).
This patch removes most of these inconsistencies including the editor language indicators,
all the different missing/additional '-' characters, files that center the file name, missing
trailing `===//` (mostly caused by clang-format breaking the line).

LLVMUserExpression doesn't use these variables and they are all specific to Clang.
Also removes m_const_object as this was actually never used by anyone (and Clang
didn't report it as we assigned it in the constructor which seems to count as use).

This patch replaces explicit calls to log::Printf with the new LLDB_LOGF
macro. The macro is similar to LLDB_LOG but supports printf-style format
strings, instead of formatv-style format strings.
So instead of writing:
if (log)
log->Printf("%s\n", str);
You'd write:
LLDB_LOG(log, "%s\n", str);
This change was done mechanically with the command below. I replaced the
spurious if-checks with vim, since I know how to do multi-line
replacements with it.
find . -type f -name '*.cpp' -exec \
sed -i '' -E 's/log->Printf\(/LLDB_LOGF\(log, /g' "{}" +

for more information.
This is the command I ran and I to fix and format the code base:

NOTE: There were also changes to `llvm/utils/unittest` but I did not
include them because I felt that maybe this library shall be updated in
isolation somehow.
NOTE: I know this is a rather large commit but it is a nobrainer in most
parts.

The `ap` suffix is a remnant of lldb's former use of auto pointers,
before they got deprecated. Although all their uses were replaced by
unique pointers, some variables still carried the suffix.
In r353795 I removed another auto_ptr remnant, namely redundant calls to
::get for unique_pointers. Jim justly noted that this is a good
opportunity to clean up the variable names as well.
I went over all the changes to ensure my find-and-replace didn't have
any undesired side-effects. I hope I didn't miss any, but if you end up
at this commit doing a git blame on a weirdly named variable, please
know that the change was unintentional.

to reflect the new license.
We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header
entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the
Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach.
Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM
project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers
include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed
code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of
our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and
repository.

This patch removes the comments grouping header includes. They were
added after running IWYU over the LLDB codebase. However they add little

llvm-svn: 346626
This is intended as a clean up after the big clang-format commit

on the lldb-dev mailing list.
A change of this magnitude cannot easily be done without
find and replace, but that has potential to catch unwanted
occurrences of common strings such as "Error". Every effort
was made to find all the obvious things such as the word "Error"
appearing in a string, etc, but it's possible there are still
some lingering occurences left around. Hopefully nothing too
serious.

This moves the following classes from Core -> Utility.
ConstString
Error
RegularExpression
Stream
StreamString
The goal here is to get lldbUtility into a state where it has
no dependendencies except on itself and LLVM, so it can be the
starting point at which to start untangling LLDB's dependencies.
These are all low level and very widely used classes, and
previously lldbUtility had dependencies up to lldbCore in order
to use these classes. So moving then down to lldbUtility makes
sense from both the short term and long term perspective in
solving this problem.

This is a large API change that removes the two functions from
StreamString that return a std::string& and a const std::string&,
and instead provide one function which returns a StringRef.
Direct access to the underlying buffer violates the concept of
a "stream" which is intended to provide forward only access,
and makes porting to llvm::raw_ostream more difficult in the
future.

*** to conform to clang-format’s LLVM style. This kind of mass change has
*** two obvious implications:
Firstly, merging this particular commit into a downstream fork may be a huge
effort. Alternatively, it may be worth merging all changes up to this commit,
performing the same reformatting operation locally, and then discarding the
merge for this particular commit. The commands used to accomplish this
reformatting were as follows (with current working directory as the root of
the repository):
find . \( -iname "*.c" -or -iname "*.cpp" -or -iname "*.h" -or -iname "*.mm" \) -exec clang-format -i {} +
find . -iname "*.py" -exec autopep8 --in-place --aggressive --aggressive {} + ;
The version of clang-format used was 3.9.0, and autopep8 was 1.2.4.
Secondly, “blame” style tools will generally point to this commit instead of
a meaningful prior commit. There are alternatives available that will attempt
to look through this change and find the appropriate prior commit. YMMV.

In templated const functions, trying to run an expression would produce the
error
error: out-of-line definition of '$__lldb_expr' does not match any declaration

error: 1 error parsing expression
which is no good. It turned out we don't actually need to worry about "const,"
we just need to be consistent about the declaration of the expression and the
FunctionDecl we inject into the class for "this."
Also added a test case.

The result variables aren't useful, and if you have a breakpoint on a
common function you can generate a lot of these. So I changed the
code that checks the condition to set ResultVariableIsInternal in the
EvaluateExpressionOptions that we pass to the execution.
Unfortunately, the check for this variable was done in the wrong place
(the static UserExpression::Evaluate) which is not how breakpoint
conditions execute expressions (UserExpression::Execute). So I moved
the check to UserExpression::Execute (which Evaluate also calls) and made the
overridden method DoExecute.
llvm-svn: 266093
We want to do a better job presenting errors that occur when evaluating
expressions. Key to this effort is getting away from a model where all
errors are spat out onto a stream where the client has to take or leave
all of them.
To this end, this patch adds a new class, DiagnosticManager, which
contains errors produced by the compiler or by LLDB as an expression
is created. The DiagnosticManager can dump itself to a log as well as
to a string. Clients will (in the future) be able to filter out the
errors they're interested in by ID or present subsets of these errors
to the user.
This patch is not intended to change the *users* of errors - only to
thread DiagnosticManagers to all the places where streams are used. I
also attempt to standardize our use of errors a bit, removing trailing
newlines and making clients omit 'error:', 'warning:' etc. and instead
pass the Severity flag.
The patch is testsuite-neutral, with modifications to one part of the
MI tests because it relied on "error: error:" being erroneously
printed. This patch fixes the MI variable handling and the testcase.

Summary: Recent changes to the expression parser broke function name resolution when using the IR interpreter instead of JIT. This patch changes the IRMemoryMap ivar in InterpreterStackFrame to an IRExecutionUnitSP (which is a subclass), allowing InterpreterStackFrame::ResolveConstantValue() to call FindSymbol() on the name of the Value when it's a FunctionVal. It also changes IRExecutionUnit::FindInSymbols() to call GetFileAddress() on the symball if ResolveCallableAddress() fails and there is no valid Process.
