This patch allows the Darwin build to fall back to to Posix-style lookups for the clang resource directory if the debugger library isn't inside a framework.
The patch also includes a bit of refactoring and cleanup around the *nix resolution of the binary and lib directories to reuse the code instead of duplicating it.
With this patch Darwin builds that don't build a framework only have 3 failing tests on my system (TestExec.py).

Summary:
The only usage there was in GetModificationTime(). I also took the opportunity
to move this function from FileSpec to the FileSystem class - since we are
using FileSpecs to also represent remote files for which we cannot (easily)
retrieve modification time, it makes sense to make the decision to get the
modification time more explicit.
The new function returns a llvm::sys::TimePoint<>. To aid the transition
from TimeValue, I have added a constructor to it which enables implicit
conversion from a time_point.

Summary:
.. handling for windows path was completely broken because the function was
expecting \ as path separators, but we were passing it normalized file paths,
where these have been replaced by forward slashes. Apart from this, the function
was incorrect for posix paths as well in some corner cases, as well as being
generally hard to follow.
The corner cases were:
- /../bar -> should be same as /bar
- /bar/.. -> should be same as / (slightly dodgy as the former depends on /bar actually
existing, but since we're doing it in an abstract way, I think the
transformation is reasonable)
I rewrite the function to fix these corner cases and handle windows paths more
correctly. The function should now handle the posix paths (modulo symlinks, but
we cannot really do anything about that without a real filesystem). For windows
paths, there are a couple of corner cases left, mostly to do with drive letter
handling, which cannot be fixed until the rest of the class understands drive
letters better.

Summary:
If a user has their shell set to a non-POSIX conferment shell the TestTerminal.py tests fail because the shell blurb constructed here may not work in their shell.
In my specific case fish-shell (The Friendly Interactive Shell - http://fishshell.com) does not support $?, it instead uses $status (because it is friendly).
This patch removes the assumption of your default shell by running the constructed bash command via "/bin/bash -c ...". This should be safer for users mutating their shell environment.

This is better for a number of reasons. Mostly style, but also:
1) Signed-unsigned comparison warnings disappear since there is
no loop index.
2) Iterating with the range-for style gives you back an entry
that has more than just a const char*, so it's more efficient
and more useful.
3) Makes code safter since the type system enforces that it's
impossible to index out of bounds.

This updates getters and setters to use StringRef instead of
const char *. I tested the build on Linux, Windows, and OSX
and saw no build or test failures. I cannot test any BSD
or Android variants, however I expect the required changes
to be minimal or non-existant.

This patch also marks the const char* versions as =delete to prevent
their use. This has the potential to cause build breakages on some
platforms which I can't compile. I have tested on Windows, Linux,
and OSX. Best practices for fixing broken callsites are outlined in
Args.h in a comment above the deleted function declarations.
Eventually we can remove these =delete declarations, but for now they
are important to make sure that all implicit conversions from
const char * are manually audited to make sure that they do not invoke a
conversion from nullptr.

Firstly, merging this particular commit into a downstream fork may be a huge
effort. Alternatively, it may be worth merging all changes up to this commit,
performing the same reformatting operation locally, and then discarding the
merge for this particular commit. The commands used to accomplish this
reformatting were as follows (with current working directory as the root of
the repository):

This code represents the Week of Code work I did on bringing up
lldb-server LLGS support for Darwin. It does not include the
Xcode project changes needed, as we don't want to throw that switch
until more support is implemented (i.e. this change is inert, no
build systems use it yet. I've verified on Ubuntu 16.04, macOS
Xcode and macOS cmake builds).
This change does some minimal refactoring of code that is shared
with the Linux LLGS portion, moving it from NativeProcessLinux into
NativeProcessProtocol. That code is also used by NativeProcessDarwin.
Current state on Darwin:
* Process launching is implemented. (Attach is not).
Launching on devices has not yet been tested (FBS/BKS might
need a bit of work).
* Inferior waitpid monitoring and communication of exit status
via MainLoop callback is implemented.
* Memory read/write, breakpoints, thread register context, etc.
are not yet implemented. This impacts process stop/resume, as
the initial launch suspended immediately starts the process
up and running because it doesn't know it is supposed to remain
stopped.
* I implemented the equivalent of MachThreadList as
NativeThreadListDarwin, in anticipation that we might want to
factor out common parts into NativeThreadList{Protocol} and share
some code here. After writing it, though, the fallout from merging
Mach Task/Process into a single concept plus some other minor
changes makes the whole NativeThreadListDarwin concept nothing more
than dead weight. I am likely going to get rid of this class and
just manage it directly in NativeProcessDarwin, much like I did
for NativeProcessLinux.
* There is a stub-out call for starting a STDIO thread. That will
go away and adopt the MainLoop pselect-based IOObject reading.

gettimeofday() isn't defined without a special header. Rather
than rely on C apis, let's just use modern C++11 to do this

It's always hard to remember when to include this file, and
when you do include it it's hard to remember what preprocessor
check it needs to be behind, and then you further have to remember
whether it's windows.h or win32.h which you need to include.
This patch changes the name to PosixApi.h, which is more appropriately
named, and makes it independent of any preprocessor setting.
There's still the issue of people not knowing when to include this,
because there's not a well-defined set of things it exposes other
than "whatever is missing on Windows", but at least this should
make it less painful to fix when problems arise.

This finally removes the use of the Mutex and Condition classes. This is an
intricate patch as the Mutex and Condition classes were tied together.
Furthermore, many places had slightly differing uses of time values. Convert
timeout values to relative everywhere to permit the use of
std::chrono::duration, which is required for the use of
std::condition_variable's timeout. Adjust all Condition and related Mutex
classes over to std::{,recursive_}mutex and std::condition_variable.
This change primarily comes at the cost of breaking the TracingMutex which was
based around the Mutex class. It would be possible to write a wrapper to
provide similar functionality, but that is beyond the scope of this change.

that may be embedded in the Contents/Resources subdir of a dSYM
bundle. These allow for the specification of a build-time path
to debug-time path remapping for source files. Files may be built
in /BuildDirectory/sources/project-100 but when the debugger is
run, they're actually found via ~sources/project-100 - this plist
allows for that remapping through the DBGBuildSourcePath and
DBGSourcePath keys.
This patch adds support for a new DBGSourcePathRemapping
dictionary in the plist where the keys are the build-time paths
and the values are the debug-time paths that they should be
remapped to. There are instances were we have multiple possible
build-time paths that need to be included, so the dictionary was
required.

Summary:
We've had two copies of code for launching processes:
- one in NativeProcessLinux, used for launching debugged processes
- one in ProcessLauncherAndroid, used on android for launching all other kinds of processes
These have over time acquired support for various launch options, but neither supported all of
them. I now replace them with a single implementation ProcessLauncherLinux, which supports all
the options the individual versions supported and set it to be used to launch all processes on
linux.
This also works around the ETXTBSY issue on android when the process is started from the platform
instance, as that used to go through the version which did not contain the workaround.

trade-offs. When LLDB's multi-line editing support was first introduced
for expressions / REPL contexts the behavior was as follows:
* The Return key is treated as a line-break except at the end of the input
buffer, where a completeness test is applied
This worked well enough when writing code, and makes it trivial to insert
new lines above code you've already typed. Just use cursor navigation to
move up and type freely. Where it was awkward is that the gesture to insert
a line break and end editing is conflated for most people. Sometimes you
want Return to end the editing session and other times you want to insert
a line break.
This commit changes the behavior as follows:
* The Return key is treated as the end of editing except at the end of the
input buffer, where a completeness test is applied
* The Meta+Return sequence is always treated as a line break. This is
consistent with conventions in Facebook and elsewhere since
Alt/Option+Return is often mapped to Meta+Return. The unfortunate
exception is on macOS where this *can* be the case, but isn't by
default. Sigh.
Note that by design both before and after the patch pasting a Return
character always introduces a line break.

Summary:
In the case of client sockets, we are not binding to a specific port, so we
should be able to just request a new one. Disregarding refactors, this code
has been here since the initial LLDB checkin, so I was unable to figure out
whether it was added as a fix for a specific problem, or just for symmetry
with server sockets, but I see no side-effect from removing it now. I was
still able to create 10000 connections within a couple of seconds, so I think
it's unlikely we will exhaust the port space (previously, I would get an
error after a couple thousand connections).
This fixes an occasional issue with connecting to the android debug bridge
deamon on OSX when running the test suite, which would occasionaly fail with
EADDRINUSE. My best guess is that this was happening because two processes
were assigned the same client port number, and then things blew up because
they were both trying to connect to the same ADB server port. I have not
observed this issue happening on Linux or Windows.

When USE_SETUPTERM_WORKAROUND is enabled, we were calling setupterm() multiple times and leaking memory on each subsequent call. This is now fixed by calling setupterm() once in the constructor and tracking if we have already setup a terminal for a file descriptor.
Calls to "el_set (m_editline, EL_ADDFN, ..." were leaking memory. If we switch over to call el_wset with wide strings when LLDB_EDITLINE_USE_WCHAR is set, then we no longer leak memory each time we construct a new Editline object.
The calls to "el_set (m_editline, EL_ADDFN, ..." were changed over to call "el_wset (m_editline, EL_ADDFN, ...". Note that when LLDB_EDITLINE_USE_WCHAR is not defined, then el_wset is #define'ed to el_set. All strings are wrapped in EditLineConstString which will use wide strings when needed, and normal C strings when LLDB_EDITLINE_USE_WCHAR is not defined.

This is a pretty straightforward first pass over removing a number of uses of
Mutex in favor of std::mutex or std::recursive_mutex. The problem is that there
are interfaces which take Mutex::Locker & to lock internal locks. This patch
cleans up most of the easy cases. The only non-trivial change is in
CommandObjectTarget.cpp where a Mutex::Locker was split into two.

The main issues were:
- Listeners recently were converted over to used by getting a shared pointer to a listener. And when they listened to broadcasters they would get a strong reference added to them meaning the listeners would never go away. This caused memory usage to increase and would cause performance issue if many steps were done.
- The lldb_private::Process private state thread had an issue where if a "stop" contol signal was attempted to be sent to that thread, it could end up not responding in 2 seconds and end up getting cancelled which might cause us to cancel a thread that had a mutex locked and it would deadlock the test.
This change makes broadcasters hold onto weak references to listeners. It also fixes some bad threading code that had races inside of it by making the m_events_mutex be non-recursive and getting rid of fragile use of a Predicate<bool> to say that new events are available, and replacing it with using the m_events_mutex with a new m_events_condition to control access to the events in a safer way.
The private state thread now uses a safer way to communicate that the control event has been received by the private state thread: it makes a EventDataReceipt instance that it attaches to the event that sends the control to the private state thread and used this to synchronize the fact that the private state thread has received the event instead of using a Predicate<bool> to convey the info. When the signal event is received, it will pull the event off of the queue in the private state thread and cause the EventData::DoOnRemoval() to be called, which will signal that the event has been received. This cleans up the signal delivery notification so it doesn't rely on a member variable of the process class to convey the info.

Summary:
This replaces the C-style "void *" baton of the child process monitoring functions with a more
C++-like API taking a std::function. The motivation for this was that it was very difficult to
handle the ownership of the object passed into the callback function -- each caller ended up
implementing his own way of doing it, some doing it better than others. With the new API, one can
just pass a smart pointer into the callback and all of the lifetime management will be handled
automatically.
This has enabled me to simplify the rather complicated handshake in Host::RunShellCommand. I have
left handling of MonitorDebugServerProcess (my original motivation for this change) to a separate
commit to reduce the scope of this change.

Summary:
AdbClient was attempting to handle the case where the socket input arrived in pieces, but it was
failing to handle the case where the connection was closed before that happened. In this case, it
would just spin in an infinite loop calling Connection::Read. (This was also the cause of the
spurious timeouts on the darwin->android buildbot. The exact cause of the premature EOF remains
to be investigated, but is likely a server bug.)
Since this wait-for-a-certain-number-of-bytes seems like a useful functionality to have, I am
moving it (with the infinite loop fixed) to the Connection class, and adding an
appropriate test for it.

This patch adds support for Linux on SystemZ:
- A new ArchSpec value of eCore_s390x_generic
- A new directory Plugins/ABI/SysV-s390x providing an ABI implementation
- Register context support
- Native Linux support including watchpoint support
- ELF core file support
- Misc. support throughout the code base (e.g. breakpoint opcodes)
- Test case updates to support the platform
This should provide complete support for debugging the SystemZ platform.
Not yet supported are optional features like transaction support (zEC12)
or SIMD vector support (z13).
There is no instruction emulation, since our ABI requires that all code
provide correct DWARF CFI at all PC locations in .eh_frame to support
unwinding (i.e. -fasynchronous-unwind-tables is on by default).
The implementation follows existing platforms in a mostly straightforward
manner. A couple of things that are different:
- We do not use PTRACE_PEEKUSER / PTRACE_POKEUSER to access single registers,
since some registers (access register) reside at offsets in the user area
that are multiples of 4, but the PTRACE_PEEKUSER interface only allows
accessing aligned 8-byte blocks in the user area. Instead, we use a s390
specific ptrace interface PTRACE_PEEKUSR_AREA / PTRACE_POKEUSR_AREA that
allows accessing a whole block of the user area in one go, so in effect
allowing to treat parts of the user area as register sets.
- SystemZ hardware does not provide any means to implement read watchpoints,
only write watchpoints. In fact, we can only support a *single* write
watchpoint (but this can span a range of arbitrary size). In LLDB this
means we support only a single watchpoint. I've set all test cases that
require read watchpoints (or multiple watchpoints) to expected failure
on the platform. [ Note that there were two test cases that install
a read/write watchpoint even though they nowhere rely on the "read"
property. I've changed those to simply use plain write watchpoints. ]

Summary:
In D18689, I removed the call to Normalize() in FileSpec::SetFile, because it no longer seemed
needed, and it resolved a quirk in the FileSpec API (spec.GetCString() returnes a path with
backslashes, but spec.GetDirectory().GetCString() has forward slashes). This turned out to be a
problem because we would consider paths with different separators as different (which led to
unresolved breakpoints for instance).
Here, I am putting back in the call to Normalize() and adding a unittest for FileSpec::Equal. I
am commenting out the GetDirectory unittests until we figure out the what is the expected
behaviour here.

Summary:
Even though FileSpec attempted to handle both kinds of path syntaxes (posix and windows) on both
platforms, it relied on the llvm path library to do its work, whose behavior differed on
different platforms. This led to subtle differences in FileSpec behavior between platforms. This
replaces the pieces of the llvm library with our own implementations. The functions are simply
copied from llvm, with #ifdefs replaced by runtime checks for ePathSyntaxWindows.

We want to do a better job presenting errors that occur when evaluating
expressions. Key to this effort is getting away from a model where all
errors are spat out onto a stream where the client has to take or leave
all of them.
To this end, this patch adds a new class, DiagnosticManager, which
contains errors produced by the compiler or by LLDB as an expression
is created. The DiagnosticManager can dump itself to a log as well as
to a string. Clients will (in the future) be able to filter out the
errors they're interested in by ID or present subsets of these errors
to the user.
This patch is not intended to change the *users* of errors - only to
thread DiagnosticManagers to all the places where streams are used. I
also attempt to standardize our use of errors a bit, removing trailing
newlines and making clients omit 'error:', 'warning:' etc. and instead
pass the Severity flag.
The patch is testsuite-neutral, with modifications to one part of the
MI tests because it relied on "error: error:" being erroneously
printed. This patch fixes the MI variable handling and the testcase.

Removed lldb_private::File::Duplicate() and the copy constructor and the assignment operator that used to duplicate the file handles and made them private so no one uses them. Previously the lldb_private::File::Duplicate() function duplicated files that used file descriptors, (int) but not file streams (FILE *), so the lldb_private::File::Duplicate() function only worked some of the time. No one else excep thee ScriptInterpreterPython was using these functions, so that aren't needed nor desired. Previously every time you would drop into the python interpreter we would duplicate files, and now we avoid this file churn.

PDB is Microsoft's debug information format, and although we
cannot yet generate it, we still must be able to consume it.
Reason for this is that debug information for system libraries
(e.g. kernel32, C Runtime Library, etc) only have debug info
in PDB format, so in order to be able to support debugging
of system code, we must support it.
Currently this code should compile on every platform, but on
non-Windows platforms the PDB plugin will return 0 capabilities,
meaning that for now PDB is only supported on Windows. This
may change in the future, but the API is designed in such a way
that this will require few (if any) changes on the LLDB side.
In the future we can just flip a switch and everything will
work.
This patch only adds support for line tables. It does not return
information about functions, types, global variables, or anything
else. This functionality will be added in a followup patch.

Paths on Windows are not case-sensitive. Because of this, if a file
is called main.cpp, you should be able to set a breakpoint on it
by using the name Main.cpp. In an ideal world, you could just
tell people to match the case, but in practice this can be a real
problem as it requires you to know whether the person who compiled
the program ran "clang++ main.cpp" or "clang++ Main.cpp", both of
which would work, regardless of what the file was actually called.

On Mac OS X, this was working just fine in debug builds (presumably, because the right value ended up being at the right location for the variadic ABI), but not in Release builds
As a result, we were seeing failures with commands that set their own immediate output stream - only in Release builds, which always makes for a fun little investigation
I have removed those fcntl() calls and replaced them with dup() calls. This fixes the issue in both Debug and Release builds

There were a number of problems preventing this from working:
1. The SWIG typemaps for converting Python lists to and from C++
arrays were not updated for Python 3. So they were doing things
like PyString_Check instead of using the PythonString from
PythonDataObjects.
2. ProcessLauncherWindows was ignoring the environment completely.
So any test that involved launching an inferior with any kind
of environment variable would have failed.
3. The test itself was using process.GetSTDOUT(), which isn't
implemented on Windows. So this was changed to save the
value of the environment variable in a local variable and
have the debugger look at the value of the variable.

The FixIndentationCommand implementation has proven to be fragile across various libedit iterations. This patch reworks the command to use the same basic strategy as when moving between lines in a multi-line edit session: when indentation changes are required, exit line editing completely and restart with amended content. This approach won't be susceptible to subtle behavior differences libedit has introduced over time.

A REPL takes over the command line and typically treats input as source code.
REPLs can also do code completion. The REPL class allows its subclasses to
implement the language-specific functionality without having to know about the
IOHandler-specific internals.
Also added a PluginManager-based way of getting to a REPL given a language and
a target.
Also brought in some utility code and expression options that are useful for
REPLs, such as line offsets for expressions, ANSI terminal coloring of errors,
and a few IOHandler convenience functions.

defined on linux.
Since the linux temp path computation now succeeds, I needed to also modify Android path
computation to check for actual directory existence, rather then checking whether the operation
failed.

Python file handling got an overhaul in Python 3, and it affects
the way we have to interact with files. Notably:
1) `PyFile_FromFile` no longer exists, and instead we have to use
`PyFile_FromFd`. This means having a way to get an fd from
a FILE*. For this we reuse the lldb_private::File class to
convert between FILE*s and fds, since there are some subtleties
regarding ownership rules when FILE*s and fds refer to the same
file.
2) PyFile is no longer a builtin type, so there is no such thing as
`PyFile_Check`. Instead, files in Python 3 are just instances
of `io.IOBase`. So the logic for checking if something is a file
in Python 3 is to check if it is a subclass of that module.
Additionally, some unit tests are added to verify that `PythonFile`
works as expected on Python 2 and Python 3, and
`ScriptInterpreterPython` is updated to use `PythonFile` instead of
manual calls to the various `PyFile_XXX` methods.

Most platforms have "/dev/null". Windows has "nul". Instead of

* ArchSpec::MergeFrom() would erroneously promote an unspecified
unknown to a specified unknown when both the ArchSpec and the merged
in ArchSpec were both unspecified unknowns. This no longer happens,
which fixes issues with global module cache lookup in some
situations.
* Added ArchSpec::DumpTriple(Stream&) that now properly prints
unspecified unknowns as '*' and specified unknows as 'unknown'.
This makes it trivial to tell the difference between the two.
Converted printing code over ot using DumpTriple() rather than
building from scratch.

3. It gets a dSYM. It reads the per-UUID plist in the dSYM.
The dSYM has a DBGSymbolRichExecutable kv pair pointing to
the binary on a network filesystem.
4. Using the binary on the network filesystem, lldb now goes
to find the dSYM.
5. It starts by looking for a dSYM next to the binary it found.
6. lldb is now reading the dSYM over a network filesystem,
ignoring the one it found on its local filesystem earlier.
Everything still *works* but it's much slower.
This would be a tricky one to write up in a testsuite case;
you really need the binary to not exist on the local system.
And LocateMacOSXFilesUsingDebugSymbols will only compile on
Mac OS X - even if I found a way to write up a test case, it
would not run anywhere but on a mac.
One change Greg wanted while I was touching this code was to
have LocateMacOSXFilesUsingDebugSymbols (which could be asked
to find a binary OR find a dSYM) to instead return a ModuleSpec
with the sum total of everything it could find. This
change of passing around a ModuleSpec instead of a FileSpec
was percolated up into ModuleList::GetSharedModule.
The changes to LocateMacOSXFilesUsingDebugSymbols look larger
than they really are - there's a lot of simple whitespace changes
in there.

Some context:
I was remote debugging an executable built with Clang in an Ubuntu VM on my Windows machine using lldb-mi. I copied the executable and nothing else from the Ubuntu VM to the Windows machine.
Then started lldb-server in the Ubuntu VM:

executable path is resolved to be the bin directory
sitting next to the lib directory with the dylib

We use the symbolic link to resolver to find the target of the LLDB shlib
symlink if there is a symlink. This allows us to find shlib-relative resources
even when running under the testsuite, where _lldb.so is a symlink in the Python
resource directory.
Also changed a comment to be slightly more clear about what resolve_path in the
constructor for FileSpec means, since if we were actually using realpath() this
code wouldn't have been necessary.

SUMMARY:
Last 3bits of the watchpoint address are masked by the kernel. For example, n is
at 0x120010d00 and m is 0x120010d04. When a watchpoint is set at m, then watch
exception is generated even when n is read/written. To handle this case, instruction
at PC is emulated to find the base address of the load/store instruction. This address
is then appended to the description of the stop-info packet. Client then reads this
information to check whether the user has set a watchpoint on this address.

Previously embedded interpreters were handled as ad-hoc source
files compiled into source/Interpreter. This made it hard to
disable a specific interpreter, or to add support for other
interpreters and allow the developer to choose which interpreter(s)
were enabled for a particular build.
This patch converts script interpreters over to a plugin-based system.
Script interpreters now live in source/Plugins/ScriptInterpreter, and
the canonical LLDB interpreter, ScriptInterpreterPython, is moved there
as well.
Any new code interfacing with the Python C API must live in this location
from here on out. Additionally, generic code should never need to
reference or make assumptions about the presence of a specific interpreter
going forward.

This commit adds a WriteWithTimeout method to time Pipe class, analogous to the existing
ReadWithTimeout(). It also changes the meaning of passing zero as a timeout value. Previously,
zero was used as an infinite timeout value. Now, the meaning of zero timeout to return the data
avaiable without sleeping (basically, a non-blocking operation). This makes the behaviour of Pipe
consistent with the Communication/Connection classes. For blocking operatios with infinite
timeout, I introduce a special constant for this purpose.

We previously passed in a 8192 byte buffer but this wasn't large enough. We now calculate the size we need and then add 128 to it and get the environment. If we pass exactly the number of bytes it says is needs, the sysctl() returns junk. Adding 1 seemed to do the trick, but to err on the side of caution, I added a few bytes more.

Upon connection termination the waitable handle of an IOObject gets reset to an invalid handle.
This caused a problem since we used the object->GetWaitableHandle as a key to the set of
registered events. The fix is to use something more immutable as a key: we make a copy of the
original waitable handle, instead of holding onto the IOObject.

Summary:
This is the first part of our effort to make llgs single threaded. Currently, llgs consists of
about three threads and the synchronisation between them is a major source of latency when
debugging linux and android applications.
In order to be able to go single threaded, we must have the ability to listen for events from
multiple sources (primarily, client commands coming over the network and debug events from the
inferior) and perform necessary actions. For this reason I introduce the concept of a MainLoop.
A main loop has the ability to register callback's which will be invoked upon receipt of certain
events. MainLoopPosix has the ability to listen for file descriptors and signals.
For the moment, I have merely made the GDBRemoteCommunicationServerLLGS class use MainLoop
instead of waiting on the network socket directly, but the other threads still remain. In the
followup patches I indend to migrate NativeProcessLinux to this class and remove the remaining
threads.

Summary:
This commit avoids the Platform instance when spawning or attaching to a process in lldb-server.
Instead, I have the server call a (static) method of NativeProcessProtocol directly. The reason
for this is that I believe that NativeProcessProtocol should be decoupled from the Platform
(after all, it always knows which platform it is running on, unlike the rest of lldb).
Additionally, the kind of platform actions a NativeProcessProtocol instance is likely to differ
greatly from the platform actions of the lldb client, so I think the separation makes sense.
After this, the only dependency NativeProcessLinux has on PlatformLinux is the ResolveExecutable
method, which needs additional refactoring.
This is a resubmit of r241672, after it was reverted due to build failueres on non-linux
platforms.

Summary:
Memory reads using the ptrace API need to be executed on a designated thread
and in 4-byte increments. The process_vm_read syscall has no such requirements
and it is about 50 times faster. This patch makes lldb-server use the faster
API if the target kernel supports it. Kernel support for this feature is
determined at runtime. Using process_vm_writev in the same manner is more
complicated since this syscall (unlike ptrace) respects page protection settings
and so it cannot be used to set a breakpoint, since code pages are typically
read-only. However, memory writes are not currently a performance bottleneck as
they happen much more rarely.

Summary:
`IsRelativeToCurrentWorkingDirectory` was misleading, because relative paths
are sometimes appended to other directories, not just the cwd. Plus, the new
name is shorter. Also added `IsAbsolute` for completeness.

Since interaction with the python interpreter is moving towards
being more isolated, we won't be able to include this header from
normal files anymore, all includes of it should be localized to
the python library which will live under source/bindings/API/Python
after a future patch.
None of the files that were including this header actually depended
on it anyway, so it was just a dead include in every single instance.

Summary:
There is an issue in lldb where the command prompt can appear at the wrong time. The partial fix
we have in for this is not working all the time and is introducing unnecessary delays. This
change does:
- Change Process:SyncIOHandler to use integer start id's for synchronization to avoid it being
confused by quick start-stop cycles. I picked this up from a suggested patch by Greg to
lldb-dev.
- coordinates printing of asynchronous text with the iohandlers. This is also based on a
(different) Greg's patch, but I have added stronger synchronization to it to avoid races.
Together, these changes solve the prompt problem for me on linux (both with and without libedit).
I think they should behave similarly on Mac and FreeBSD and I think they will not make matters
worse for windows.
Test Plan: Prompt comes out alright. All tests still pass on linux.

We know have on API we should use for all XML within LLDB in XML.h. This API will be easy back the XML parsing by different libraries in case libxml2 doesn't work on all platforms. It also allows the only place for #ifdef ...XML... to be in XML.h and XML.cpp. The API is designed so it will still compile with or without XML support and there is a static function "bool XMLDocument::XMLEnabled()" that can be called to see if XML is currently supported. All APIs will return errors, false, or nothing when XML isn't enabled.
Converted all locations that used XML over to using the host XML implementation.
Added target.xml support to debugserver. Extended the XML register format to work for LLDB by including extra attributes and elements where needed. This allows the target.xml to replace the qRegisterInfo packets and allows us to fetch all register info in a single packet.

The main issue was the Communication::Disconnect() was calling its Connection::Disconnect() but this wouldn't release the pipes that the ConnectionFileDescriptor was using. We also have someone that is holding a strong reference to the Process so that when you re-run, target replaces its m_process_sp, but it doesn't get destructed because someone has a strong reference to it. I need to track that down. But, even if we have a strong reference to the a process that is outstanding, we need to call Process::Finalize() to have it release as much of its resources as possible to avoid memory bloat.
Removed the ProcessGDBRemote::SetExitStatus() override and replaced it with ProcessGDBRemote::DidExit().
Now we aren't leaking file descriptors and the stand alone test suite should run much better.

ModuleSpecs::FindMatchingModuleSpec looks for matching filenames but when
looking for the dSYM we should only be looking for a matching architecture and
and UUID. Jason pointed out this mistake in http://reviews.llvm.org/D9174 when
this function was incorrectly converted to not be Mac specific.
Test Plan:
Running LLDB on test/lang/c/shared_lib_stripped_symbols/a.out in a debugger I've
verified LocateDSYMInVincinityOfExecutable correctly locates the matching dSYM.

This API has been present since XP, and I think it's safe to
drop support for XP (since other things have been introduced long
ago which already don't work on XP anyway).
With this patch, we can statically bind against the exports and
not bother falling back to a CRITICAL_SECTION if we can't load
the API.

Someone must have changed the behavior of FileSpec slightly
relating to whether or not there is a trailing backslash when calling
GetPath() and GetDirectory(). This caused ScriptInterpreterPython
to find the wrong values when initializing sys.path, and as a result
we couldn't find the lldb module.
This patch fixes the issue, and also adds a test to make sure that
GetDirectory() does not return a string containing a trailing slash.

Summary:
NativeProcessProtocol uses ReadMemory internally for setting/checking
breakpoints but also for generic memory reads (Handle_m), this change adds a
ReadMemoryWithoutTrap for that purpose. Also fixes a bunch of misuses of addr_t
as size/length.
Test Plan: `disassemble` no longer shows the trap code.

Currently Symbols::LocateExecutableSymbolFile on MacOSX only looks for external
dsym debugging information, however if running on a stripped dwarf executable it
should also check for a .debug file as well.
Test Plan:
./dotest.py $DOTEST_OPTS -t -p TestSharedLibStrippedSymbols.py
This test now passes when running a remote Mac -> Linux test, and still passes
running locally on Mac or locally on Linux.

ConnectionFileDescriptor::BytesAvailable was reading multiple command
bytes from the command pipe but only processing the first. This
change only allows one byte to be read at a time, ensuring that all
get handled.
This isn't known to cause any bugs, but it might cause current/future
bugs.

Previously, users on Windows had to manually specify PYTHONPATH
to point to the site-packages directory before running LLDB.
The reason for this was because sys.path was being initialized
with a path containing unescaped backslashes, causing escape
sequences to end up in the paths.

There were a couple of real bugs here regarding error checking and
signed/unsigned comparisons, but mostly these were just noise.
There was one class of bugs fixed here which is particularly
annoying, dealing with MSVC's non-standard behavior regarding
the underlying type of enums. See the comment in
lldb-enumerations.h for details. In short, from now on please use
FLAGS_ENUM and FLAGS_ANONYMOUS_ENUM when defining enums which
contain values larger than can fit into a signed integer.

lldb-platform's listener socket only had a backlog of one connection.
That means that if more than one client connected simultaneously, the
connection would be refused. The test suite can be run remotely with
dozens of threads connecting simultaneously. Raised this limit to 100
to effectively eliminate lost connections.

Adds the --server argument to lldb-server platform which when specified will allow multiple simultaneous connections by forking off to handle each individual connection. This will allow us to run the remote tests in parallel.

The original method of using dladdr() could return the incorrect relative
path if not dynamically linked against liblldb and the working directory
has changed. This is not a problem when built with python, since
ScriptInterpreterPython::InitializePrivate calls
HostInfo::GetLLDBPath(ePathTypeLLDBShlibDir, ...) and caches the
correct path before any changes to the working directory.
The /proc/self/exe approach fails if run using Python, but works for all other
cases (including for android, which doesn't have dladdr()).
So if we combine the two, we should reasonably cover all corner cases.

This creates a new top-level folder called Initialization which
is intended to hold code specific to LLDB system initialization.
Currently this holds the Initialize() and Terminate() functions,
as well as the fatal error handler.
This provides a means to break the massive dependency cycle which
is caused by the fact that Debugger depends on Initialize and
Terminate which then depends on the entire LLDB project. With
this structure, it will be possible for applications to invoke
lldb_private::Initialize() directly, and have that invoke
Debugger::Initialize.

Specifically, there were some functions for converting enums
to strings and a function for matching a string using a specific
matching algorithm. This moves those functions to more appropriate
headers in lldb/Utility and updates references to include the
new headers.

The file path is currently required on android because the executables
only contain the name of the system libraries without their path. This
CL add an extra field to the qModuleInfo packet to return the full path
