Peter Klausler f329cf97f2 [flang] Change names of specific procedures of generic interfaces in intrinsic modules
Intrinsic procedures in intrinsic modules that have (or better, *are*) generic interfaces
must not have specific procedures with the same name according to the Fortran
standard (17.11.1); i.e., a user program is allowed to define a procedure
of the same name as one of these generic interfaces, even when the generic is
in scope.

[flang] Increase support for intrinsic module procedures
* Make Semantics test doconcurrent01.f90 an expected failure pending a fix
for a problem in recognizing a PURE prefix specifier for a specific procedure
that occurs in new intrinsic module source code,

* review update

* review update

* Increase support for intrinsic module procedures

The f18 standard defines 5 intrinsic modules that define varying numbers
of procedures, including several operators:

  2  iso_fortran_env
 55  ieee_arithmetic
 10  ieee_exceptions
  0  ieee_features
  6  iso_c_binding

There are existing fortran source files for each of these intrinsic modules.
This PR adds generic procedure declarations to these files for procedures
that do not already have them, together with associated specific procedure
declarations. It also adds the capability of recognizing intrinsic module
procedures in lowering code, making it possible to use existing language
intrinsic code generation for intrinsic module procedures for both scalar
and elemental calls. Code can then be generated for intrinsic module
procedures using existing options, including front end folding, direct
inlining, and calls to runtime support routines. Detailed code generation
is provided for several procedures in this PR, with others left to future PRs.
Procedure calls that reach lowering and don't have detailed implementation
support will generate a "not yet implemented" message with a recognizable name.

The generic procedures in these modules may each have as many as 36 specific
procedures. Most specific procedures are generated via macros that generate
type specific interface declarations. These specific declarations provide
detailed argument information for each individual procedure call, similar
to what is done via other means for standard language intrinsics. The
modules only provide interface declarations. There are no procedure
definitions, again in keeping with how language intrinsics are processed.

This patch is part of the upstreaming effort from fir-dev branch.

Update IsTeamType() to exploit access to the __Fortran_builtins

other utilities from Semantics/tools.* to Evaluate/tools.* to make
them available to intrinsics processing.

Define an API for, and implement, runtime support for arbitrary

(re)allocation of allocatables with finalization when necessary,
user-defined derived type assignment TBP calls, and intrinsic (default)
componentwise assignment of derived type instances with allocation of
automatic components. Also clean up API and implementation of
finalization/destruction using knowledge gained while studying
edge cases for assignment in the 2018 standard.

The look-up procedure for special procedure bindings in derived
types has been optimized from O(N) to O(1) since it will probably
matter more. This required some analysis in runtime derived type
description table construction in semantics and some changes to the
table schemata.

Executable Fortran tests have been developed; they'll be added
to the test base once they can be lowered and run by f18.

the transformational intrinsic functions CSHIFT, EOSHIFT, PACK,
SPREAD, TRANSPOSE, and UNPACK. These are the remaining transformational
intrinsic functions that rearrange data without regard to type
(except for default boundary values in EOSHIFT); RESHAPE was already
in place as a stress test for the runtime's descriptor handling
facilities.

Code is in place to create copies of allocatable/automatic
components when transforming arrays of derived type, but it won't
do anything until we have derived type information being passed to the
runtime from the frontend.

Jean Perier 943839870a [flang] simplify derived type info table format
- Replace class(*) member by a c_ptr member to avoid having to handle
  polymorphic components in the type info table generation. Polymorphic
  entity handling will require these very tables to be lowered properly.
  Note: keep the init as NullPointer/Designators. This is technically
  invalid Fortran, the init should have c_ptr type. But wrapping this
  in a C_LOC intrinsic call would make runtime generation and lowering
  more complex with no real benefits.

- ComponentIterator is crashing when used on the generated derived
  types in GetScope. This patch makes GetScope more robust, but it
  is not entirely clear to me why this is only happening with the
  generated derived types.

- The type of generated character globals was incorrect because
  Scope::FindType was matching character types with different
  length. Add a CharacterTypeSpec == operator to fix this.

Peter Steinfeld 8989268dae [flang] Allow KIND type parameters to be used as LEN parameters of components
When producing the runtime type information for a component of a derived type
that had a LEN type parameter, we were not allowing a KIND parameter of the
derived type. This was causing one of the NAG correctness tests to fail
(.../hibiya/d5.f90).

I added a test to our own test suite to check for this.

Also, I fixed a typo in .../module/__fortran_type_info.f90.

I allowed KIND type parameters to be used for the declarations of components
that use LEN parameters by constant folding the value of the LEN parameter. To
make the constant folding work, I had to put the semantics::DerivedTypeSpec of
the associated derived type into the folding context. To get this
semantics::DerivedTypeSpec, I changed the value of the semantics::Scope object
that was passed to DescribeComponent() to be the derived type scope rather than
the containing non-derived type scope.

This scope change, in turn, caused differences in the symbol table output that
is checked in typeinfo01.f90. Most of these differences were in the order that
the symbols appeared in the dump. But one of them changed one of the values
from "CHARACTER(2_8,1)" to "CHARACTER(1_8,1)". I'm not sure if these changes
are significant. Please verify that the results of this test are still valid.

Also, I wonder if there are other situations in this code where we should be
folding constants. For example, what if the field of a component has a
component whose type is a PDT with a LEN type parameter, and the component's
declaration depends on the KIND type parameter of the current PDT. Here's an
example:

  type string(stringkind)
    integer,kind :: stringkind
    character(stringkind) :: value
  end type string

  type outer(kindparam)
    integer,kind :: kindparam
    type(string(kindparam)) :: field
  end type outer

I don't understand the code or what it's trying to accomplish well enough to
figure out if such cases are correctly handled by my new code.

STORAGE_SIZE() is a standard inquiry intrinsic (size in bits
of an array element of the same type as the argument); SIZEOF()
is a common extension that returns the size in bytes of its

STORAGE_SIZE() and SIZEOF() are implemented via rewrites to
expressions; these expressions will be constant when the necessary
type parameters and bounds are also constant.

Code to calculate the sizes of types (with and without alignment)
was isolated into Evaluate/type.* and /characteristics.*.
Code in Semantics/compute-offsets.* to calculate sizes and alignments
of derived types' scopes was exposed so that it can be called at type
instantiation time (earlier than before) so that these inquiry intrinsics

Steve Scalpone 5c62bfb4f8 [flang] Implement int_ptr_kind.
Split omp_lib.F90 into two files: a Fortran file used to
create the omp_lib module and a .h file that can be used
directly, which apparently some codes do. Because of the
split, and wanting to avoid forcing use isc_c_binding,
use int_ptr_kind()  instead of c_intptr_t.

Peter Steinfeld 8768a11d4c [flang] - ieee_exceptions.f90: I added all of the routines listed in table 17.3 of the standard that were not currently specified. I also re-ordered the routines to be in the same order as the standard.
- doconcurrent01.f90: I removed the custom versions of ieee_exceptions and
 iso_fortran_env. I also fixed a typo in a comment. Also, the use of the real
 standare interface caused one of the error messages to go away, so I fixed
 that.
