- type names can now be regular expressions (exact matching is done first, and is faster)
- integral (and floating) types can be printed as bitfields, i.e. ${var[low-high]} will extract bits low thru high of the value and print them
- array subscripts are supported, both for arrays and for pointers. the syntax is ${*var[low-high]}, or ${*var[]} to print the whole array (the latter only works for statically sized arrays)
- summary is now printed by default when a summary string references a variable. if that variable's type has no summary, value is printed instead. to force value, you can use %V as a format specifier
- basic support for ObjectiveC:
- ObjectiveC inheritance chains are now walked through
- %@ can be specified as a summary format, to print the ObjectiveC runtime description for an object
- some bug fixes

SemaDeclAttr to the first argument. This makes them follow the very
consistent policy elsewhere in Sema for helper functions.
Original patch by Caitlin Sadowski, with some tweaking by me.
llvm-svn: 134290
conventional in the rest of Clang's codebase, and closer to the current
style recommendations. It also makes the code more internally consistent
as FD, VD, etc are used frequently for particular decl variables.

-Remove unnecessary 'return'.
-Remove unnecessary 'if' check (llvm_unreachable make sure attrStr will be non-null)
-Add a test of transferring ownership to a reference cast type.
llvm-svn: 134285
cast type has no ownership specified, implicitly "transfer" the ownership of the cast'ed type
to the cast type:
id x;
(NSString**)&x; // Casting as (__strong NSString**).
llvm-svn: 134275
newly introduced Sema::BuildVectorLiteral.
-Make Sema::ActOnCastExpr handle a vector initializer both when the cast'ed expression
is a ParenListExpr and when it is a ParenExpr.
-Ultimately make Sema::ActOnParenOrParenListExpr independent of what the cast type was.
llvm-svn: 134274
cast type has no ownership specified, implicitly "transfer" the ownership of the cast'ed type
to the cast type:
id x;
static_cast<NSString**>(&x); // Casting as (__strong NSString**).
This currently only works for C++ named casts, C casts to follow.

outside the loop and reducible.
This more completely hides them from LSR, which isn't usually able to
do anything meaningful with non-affine expressions anyway, and this
consequently hides them from SCEVExpander, which is acutely unprepared
for non-affine expressions.
Replace test/CodeGen/X86/lsr-nonaffine.ll with a new test that tests
the new behavior.
This works around the bug in PR10117 / rdar://problem/9633149, and is
generally an improvement besides.

The DSP instructions in the Thumb2 instruction set are an optional extension
in the Cortex-M* archtitecture. When present, the implementation is considered
an "ARMv7E-M implementation," and when not, an "ARMv7-M implementation."
Add a subtarget feature hook for the v7e-m instructions and hook it up. The
cortex-m3 cpu is an example of a v7m implementation, while the cortex-m4 is
a v7e-m implementation.

trivial default constructors. This generated-code regression was
caused by r131796, which had simplified the handling of default
initialization in Sema. Fixes <rdar://problem/9694300>.
llvm-svn: 134260
int f(int x) {
if (int foo = f(bar)) {}
return 0;
}
Clang produces the following error messages:
paren_imbalance.cc:2:19: error: use of undeclared identifier 'bar'
if (int foo = f(bar)) {}
^
paren_imbalance.cc:2:26: error: expected ')'
if (int foo = f(bar)) {}
^
paren_imbalance.cc:2:6: note: to match this '('
if (int foo = f(bar)) {}
^
The second error is incorrect. This patch will stop Clang from producing an error on parenthesis imbalance during error recovery when there isn't one.

itineraries.
- Refactor TargetSubtarget to be based on MCSubtargetInfo.
- Change tablegen generated subtarget info to initialize MCSubtargetInfo
and hide more details from targets.
llvm-svn: 134257
A few of the auto-generated method docstrings don't look right, and may need to be fixed
by either overwriting the auto-gened docstrings or some post-processing steps.

CompilerInvocation on the stack, because other objects (e.g., the
CompilerInstance) maintain an intrusive reference-counted pointer to
the CompilerInvocation. This doesn't matter in the normal case,
because we take back the CompilerInvocation. However, during crash
recovery, this leads to us trying to free an object on the stack, and
hilarity ensues. Fixes <rdar://problem/9652540>.

t2MOVCC[ri] are just t2MOV[ri] instructions, so properly pseudo-ize them.
The Thumb1 versions, tMOVCC[ri] were only present for use by the size-
reduction pass, so they're no longer necessary at all and can be deleted.
