This patch implements the N32 case where -mno-shared is in effect. The case
where -mshared is in effect will be added later since doing that now requires
additional changes to how we handle %hi(%neg(%gp_rel(foo))) expressions to
emit the three relocations as three relocations (currently only one of the
three would be emitted) which then requires further changes to our MCFixup
handling.
While we could fix both cases together, fixing the -mno-shared case allows us
to fix the ELFCLASS bug (where N32 incorrectly uses ELFCLASS64 instead of
ELFCLASS32) in a way that allows cpsetup.s to check for a correct output instead
of another incorrect output.

If there is already debug info in the assembly file, and user hope to

According to what GNU assembler did, it just reused the debug info in
the assembly file, and turned off the DEBUG_TYPE option so that there
will be no new debug info emitted by assembler. This fix is just as what
GNU assembler did.
The concern is the situation that there are two .text sections in the
assembly file, one with debug info and the other one without. Currently
with this fix, the assembler will no longer generate any debug info for
the second .text section. And this is what GNU assembler exactly did for
this situation. So I think this still make some sense.

As explained in r269196, microMIPS has a special case that is not correctly

'.text+0x10'. The value of an R_MICROMIPS_LO16 relocation using 'foo' is
'foo+0x11' and not 'foo+0x10'. The in-place addend should therefore be 0x11.
This commit reverts a little more of the effect of r268900 by keeping the
symbol when the STO_MIPS_MICROMIPS flag is set for R_MIPS_GPREL32 relocations.
This fixes SingleSource/UnitTests/2003-08-11-VaListArg, and

Summary:
There seems to have been a misunderstanding as to the meaning of 'offset' in
the rules laid down by our ABI. The previous code believed that 'offset' meant
the offset within the section that the relocation is applied to. However, it
should have meant the offset from the symbol used in the relocation expression.
This patch adds two fields to ELFRelocationEntry and uses them to correct the
order of relocations for MIPS. These fields contain:
* The original symbol before shouldRelocateWithSymbol() is considered. This
ensures that R_MIPS_GOT16 is able to correctly distinguish between local and
external symbols, allowing us to tell whether %got() requires a matching
%lo() or not (local symbols require one, external symbols don't). It also
prevents confusing cases where the fuzzy matching rules cause things like
%hi(foo)/%lo(foo+3) and %hi(bar)/%lo(bar+1) to swap their %lo()'s.
* The original offset before shouldRelocateWithSymbol() is considered. The
existing Addend field is always zero when the object uses in place addends
(because it's already moved it to the encoding) but MIPS needs to use the
original offset to ensure that the linker correctly calculates the carry-in
bit for %hi() and %got().
IAS ensures that unmatchable %hi()/%got() relocations are placed at the end of
the table to ensure that the linker rejects the table (we're unable to report
such errors directly). The alternatives to this risk accidental matching
against inappropriate relocations which may silently compute incorrect values
due to an incorrect carry bit between the %lo() and %hi()/%got().

Summary:
This is much closer to the way MIPS relocation expressions work
(%hi(foo + 2) rather than %hi(foo) + 2) and removes the need for the
various bodges in MipsAsmParser::evaluateRelocExpr().
Removing those bodges ensures that the constant stored in MCValue is the
full 32 or 64-bit (depending on ABI) offset from the symbol. This will be used
to correct the %hi/%lo matching needed to sort the relocation table correctly.
As part of this:
* Gave MCExpr::print() the ability to omit parenthesis when emitting a
symbol reference inside a MipsMCExpr operator like %hi(X). Without this
we print things like %lo(($L1)).
* %hi(%neg(%gprel(X))) is now three MipsMCExpr's instead of one. Most of
the related special cases have been removed or moved to MipsMCExpr. We
can remove the rest as we gain support for the less common relocations
when they are not part of this specific combination.
* Renamed MipsMCExpr::VariantKind and the enum prefix ('VK_') to avoid confusion
with MCSymbolRefExpr::VariantKind and its prefix (also 'VK_').
* fixup_Mips_GOT_Local and fixup_Mips_GOT_Global were found to be identical
and merged into fixup_Mips_GOT.
* MO_GOT16 and MO_GOT turned out to be identical and have been merged into
MO_GOT.
* VK_Mips_GOT and VK_Mips_GOT16 turned out to be the same thing so they
have been merged into MEK_GOT

This adds a unique ID to the COFF section uniquing map, similar to the
one we have for ELF. The unique id is not currently exposed via the
assembler because we don't have a use case for it yet. Users generally
create .pdata with the .seh_* family of directives, and the assembler
internally needs to produce .pdata and .xdata sections corresponding to
the code section.
The association between .text sections and the assembler-created .xdata
and .pdata sections is maintained as an ID field of MCSectionCOFF. The
CFI-related sections are created with the given unique ID, so if more
code is added to the same text section, we can find and reuse the CFI
sections that were already created.

Currently each Function points to a DISubprogram and DISubprogram has a
scope field. For member functions the scope is a DICompositeType. DIScopes
point to the DICompileUnit to facilitate type uniquing.
Distinct DISubprograms (with isDefinition: true) are not part of the type
hierarchy and cannot be uniqued. This change removes the subprograms
list from DICompileUnit and instead adds a pointer to the owning compile
unit to distinct DISubprograms. This would make it easy for ThinLTO to
strip unneeded DISubprograms and their transitively referenced debug info.
Motivation
----------
Materializing DISubprograms is currently the most expensive operation when
doing a ThinLTO build of clang.
We want the DISubprogram to be stored in a separate Bitcode block (or the
same block as the function body) so we can avoid having to expensively
deserialize all DISubprograms together with the global metadata. If a
function has been inlined into another subprogram we need to store a
reference the block containing the inlined subprogram.

When we see a .arch or .cpu directive, we should try to avoid switching
ARM/Thumb mode if possible.
If we do have to switch modes, we also need to emit the correct mapping
symbol for the new ISA. We did not do this previously, so could emit
ARM code with Thumb mapping symbols (or vice-versa).
The GAS behaviour is to always stay in the same mode, and to emit an
error on any instructions seen when the current mode is not available on
the current target. We can't represent that situation easily (we assume
that Thumb mode is available if ModeThumb is set), so we differ from the
GAS behaviour when switching to a target that can't support the old
mode. I've added a warning for when this implicit mode-switch occurs.

Some ARM instructions encode 32-bit immediates as a 8-bit integer (0-255)
and a 4-bit rotation (0-30, even) in its least significant 12 bits. The
original fixup, FK_Data_4, patches the instruction by the value bit-to-bit,
regardless of the encoding. For example, assuming the label L1 and L2 are
0x0 and 0x104 respectively, the following instruction:
add r0, r0, #(L2 - L1) ; expects 0x104, i.e., 260
would be assembled to the following, which adds 1 to r0, instead of 260:
e2800104 add r0, r0, #4, 2 ; equivalently 1
The new fixup kind fixup_arm_mod_imm takes care of the encoding:

This patch adds support for the MachO .alt_entry assembly directive, and uses
it for global aliases with non-zero GEP offsets. The alt_entry flag indicates
that a symbol should be layed out immediately after the preceding symbol.
Conceptually it introduces an alternate entry point for a function or data
structure. E.g.:
safe_foo:
// check preconditions for foo
.alt_entry fast_foo
fast_foo:
// body of foo, can assume preconditions.
The .alt_entry flag is also implicitly set on assembly aliases of the form:
a = b + C
where C is a non-zero constant, since these have the same effect as an
alt_entry symbol: they introduce a label that cannot be moved relative to the
preceding one. Setting the alt_entry flag on aliases of this form fixes

Previosy, if actual instruction have one of optional operands then other optional operands listed before this also should be presented.
For example instruction v_fract_f32 v0, v1, mul:2 have one optional operand - OMod and do not have optional operand clamp. Previously this was not allowed because clamp is listed before omod in AsmString:
string AsmString = "v_fract_f32$vdst, $src0_modifiers$clamp$omod";
Making this work required some hacks (both OMod and Clamp match classes have same PredicateMethod).
Now, if MatchInstructionImpl meets formal optional operand that is not presented in actual instruction it skips this formal operand and tries to match current actual operand with next formal.

Although these will not be lowered automatically by any instructions, it allows the use of co-processor

Changes:
- Added disassembler project
- Fixed all decoding conflicts in .td files
- Added DecoderMethod=“NONE” option to Target.td that allows to
disable decoder generation for an instruction.
- Created decoding functions for VS_32 and VReg_32 register classes.
- Added stubs for decoding all register classes.
- Added several tests for disassembler
Disassembler only supports:
- VI subtarget
- VOP1 instruction encoding
- 32-bit register operands and inline constants
[Valery]
One of the point that requires to pay attention to is how decoder
conflicts were resolved:
- Groups of target instructions were separated by using different
DecoderNamespace (SICI, VI, CI) using similar to AssemblerPredicate
approach.
- There were conflicts in IMAGE_<> instructions caused by two
different reasons:
1. dmask wasn’t specified for the output (fixed)
2. There are image instructions that differ only by the number of
the address components but have the same encoding by the HW spec. The
actual number of address components is determined by the HW at runtime
using image resource descriptor starting from the VGPR encoded in an
IMAGE instruction. This means that we should choose only one instruction
from conflicting group to be the rule for decoder. I didn’t find the way
to disable decoder generation for an arbitrary instruction and therefore
made a onelinear fix to tablegen generator that would suppress decoder
generation when DecoderMethod is set to “NONE”. This is a change that
should be reviewed and submitted first. Otherwise I would need to
specify different DecoderNamespace for every instruction in the
conflicting group. I haven’t checked yet if DecoderMethod=“NONE” is not
used in other targets.
3. IMAGE_GATHER decoder generation is for now disabled and to be
done later.

This section is used for debug information and has no need to be
in memory at runtime. This patch also fixes an error when compiling
the Linux kernel. The error is that there are relocations within the
.pdr section in a VDSO. SHT_REL was removed as it is a section type
and not a section flag, therefore it does not make sense for it to
be there. With this patch, LLVM now emits the same flags as
the GNU assembler.
llvm-svn: 261083
The usual way to get a 32-bit relocation is to use a constant extender which doubles the size of the instruction, 4 bytes to 8 bytes.
Another way is to put a .word32 and mix code and data within a function. The disadvantage is it's not a valid instruction encoding and jumping over it causes prefetch stalls inside the hardware.
This relocation packs a 23-bit value in to an "r0 = add(rX, #a)" instruction by overwriting the source register bits. Since r0 is the return value register, if this instruction is placed after a function call which return void, r0 will be filled with an undefined value, the prefetch won't be confused, and the callee can access the constant value by way of the link register.

Fixed an issue for mips with an instruction such as 'sdc1 $f1, 272 +8(a0)' which has a space between '272' and '+'. The parser would then parse '272' and '+8' as two arguments instead of a single expression resulting in one too many arguments in the pseudo instruction.

Separate methods to convert parsed instructions to MCInst:
- VOP3 only instructions (always create modifiers as operands in MCInst)
- VOP2 instrunctions with modifiers (create modifiers as operands
in MCInst when e64 encoding is forced or modifiers are parsed)
- VOP2 instructions without modifiers (do not create modifiers
as operands in MCInst)
- Add VOP3Only flag. Pass HasMods flag to VOP3Common.
- Simplify code that deals with modifiers (-1 is now same as
0). This is no longer needed.
- Add few tests (more will be added separately).

CodeView, like most other debug formats, represents the live range of a
variable so that debuggers might print them out.
They use a variety of records to represent how a particular variable
might be available (in a register, in a frame pointer, etc.) along with
a set of ranges where this debug information is relevant.
However, the format only allows us to use ranges which are limited to a
maximum of 0xF000 in size. This means that we need to split our debug
information into chunks of 0xF000.
Because the layout of code is not known until *very* late, we must use a
new fragment to record the information we need until we can know
*exactly* what the range is.
llvm-svn: 259868
CodeView requires us to accurately describe the extent of the inlined
code. We did this by grabbing the next debug location in source order
and using *that* to denote where we stopped inlining. However, this is
not sufficient or correct in instances where there is no next debug
location or the next debug location belongs to the start of another
function.
To get this correct, use the end symbol of the function to denote the
last possible place the inlining could have stopped at.

* teq and similar take 4-bit unsigned immediates on microMIPS.
* teqi and similar have side-effects like teq do.
* shll_s.w and shra_r.w take 5-bit unsigned immediates.
* The various DSP ext* instructions take a 5-bit immediate.
* repl.qh takes an 8-bit unsigned immediate.
* repl.ph takes a 10-bit unsigned immediate.
* rddsp/wrdsp take a 10-bit unsigned immediate.
* teqi and similar take signed 16-bit immediates (10-bit for microMIPS).
* Out-of-range immediate macros for or/xor take a simm32/simm64 depending
on architecture. I'll fix the simm64 case properly when I reach simm32.
lui is a bit more lenient than GAS and accepts signed immediates in addition
to unsigned. This is because MipsMCExpr can produce signed values when
constant folding and it currently lacks a way of knowing it should fold to
an unsigned value.

llvm-svn: 259126
Adds a new family of .cv_* directives to LLVM's variant of GAS syntax:
- .cv_file: Similar to DWARF .file directives
- .cv_loc: Similar to the DWARF .loc directive, but starts with a
function id. CodeView line tables are emitted by function instead of
by compilation unit, so we needed an extra field to communicate this.
Rather than overloading the .loc direction further, we decided it was
better to have our own directive.
- .cv_stringtable: Emits the codeview string table at the current
position. Currently this just contains the filenames as
null-terminated strings.
- .cv_filechecksums: Emits the file checksum table for all files used
with .cv_file so far. There is currently no support for emitting
actual checksums, just filenames.
This moves the line table emission code down into the assembler. This
is in preparation for implementing the inlined call site line table
format. The inline line table format encoding algorithm requires knowing
the absolute code offsets, so it must run after the assembler has laid
out the code.

ARMv8.2-A adds 16-bit floating point versions of all existing VFP
floating-point instructions. This is an optional extension, so all of
these instructions require the FeatureFullFP16 subtarget feature.
The assembly for these instructions uses S registers (AArch32 does not
have H registers), but the instructions have ".f16" type specifiers
rather than ".f32" or ".f64". The top 16 bits of each source register
are ignored, and the top 16 bits of the destination register are set to
zero.
These instructions are mostly the same as the 32- and 64-bit versions,
but they use coprocessor 9 rather than 10 and 11.
Two new instructions, VMOVX and VINS, have been added to allow packing
and extracting two 16-bit floats stored in the top and bottom halves of
an S register.
New fixup kinds have been added for the PC-relative load and store
instructions, but no ELF relocations have been added as they have a
range of 512 bytes.

When a symbol S shows up in an expression in assembly there are two
possible interpretations
* The expression is referring to the value of S in this file.
* The expression is referring to the value after symbol resolution.
In the first case the assembler can reason about the value and try to
produce a relocation.
In the second case, that is only possible if the symbol cannot be
preempted.
Assemblers are not very consistent about which interpretation gets used.
This changes MC to agree with GAS in the case of an expression of the
form "Sym - WeakSym".

2) MappingSymbolCounter needs to be reset, otherwise the second object file
will start where the first one left off.
3) The MCStreamer base class resets the Streamer's e_flags settings. Since
