Chandler Carruth 2946cd7010 Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepo
to reflect the new license.

We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header
entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the
Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach.

Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM
project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers
include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed
code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of
our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and
repository.

Jinsong Ji 9a0ed20072 [PowerPC] Add Itineraries for STWU/STWUX etc
When doing some instruction scheduling work, we noticed some missing itineraries.

Before we switch to machine scheduler, those missing itineraries might not have impact to actually scheduling,
because we can still get same latency due to default values.

With machine scheduler, however, itineraries will have impact to scheduling.
eg: NumMicroOps will default to be 0 if there is NO itineraries for specific instruction class.
And most of the instruction class with itineraries will have NumMicroOps default to 1.

This will has impact on the count of RetiredMOps, affects the Pending/Available Queue,
then causing different scheduling or suboptimal scheduling further.

This patch is for STWU/STWUX (IIC_LdStStoreUpd ) for P8.

Since there are already multiple IIC for store update, this patch also merge
IIC_LdStSTDU/IIC_LdStStoreUpd to IIC_LdStSTU
IIC_LdStSTDUX to IIC_LdStSTUX

and we add a new testcase in https://reviews.llvm.org/D54699 to show the difference.

Matthias Braun 17cb57995e TableGen: Check scheduling models for completeness
TableGen checks at compiletime that for scheduling models with
"CompleteModel = 1" one of the following holds:

- Is marked with the hasNoSchedulingInfo flag
- The instruction is a subclass of Sched
- There are InstRW definitions in the scheduling model

Typical steps necessary to complete a model:

- Ensure all pseudo instructions that are expanded before machine
scheduling (usually everything handled with EmitYYY() functions in
  XXXTargetLowering).
- If a CPU does not support some instructions mark the corresponding
  resource unsupported: "WriteRes<WriteXXX, []> { let Unsupported = 1; }".
- Add missing scheduling information.

Hal Finkel 11d3c561a4 [PowerPC] Better scheduling for isel on P7/P8
isel is actually a cracked instruction on the P7/P8, and must start a dispatch
group. The scheduling model should reflect this so that we don't bunch too many
of them together when possible.

Thanks to Bill Schmidt and Pat Haugen for helping to sort this out.

Hal Finkel 46402a4211 Split some PPC itinerary classes
In preparation for adding scheduling definitions for the POWER7, split some PPC
itinerary classes so that the P7's latencies and hazards can be better
described. For the most part, this means differentiating indexed from non-index
pre-increment loads and stores. Also, differentiate single from
double-precision sqrt.

No functionality change intended (except for a more-specific latency for
single-precision sqrt on the A2).

Hal Finkel 1df3205e8c Adjust PPC A2 input operand latencies
On the PPC A2, instructions are only issued after their input operands are
ready. Model this by specifying that input operands are read at dispatch (0
cycles after issue). This changes all input operand latencies from 1 to 0.

Significant test-suite performance changes (these are 99.5% confidence
intervals on 6 runs for both before and after):

Hal Finkel 92720ab1b2 Don't share functional units among the PPC itineraries
Instead of sharing functional unit names between the various PPC itineraries,
give each core its own unit names prefixed with the core name. This follows
the convention used by other backends (such as ARM), and removes a non-obvious
ordering dependency between the various PPCSchedule*.td files.

No functionality change intended.

Hal Finkel 3e5a360ba3 Add IIC_ prefix to PPC instruction-class names
This adds the IIC_ prefix to the instruction itinerary class names, giving the
PPC backend a naming convention for itinerary classes that is more consistent
with that used by the X86 and ARM backends.

Instruction scheduling in the PPC backend needs a bunch of cleanup and
improvement (especially for the ooo cores). This is just a preliminary step.

No functionality change intended.

Hal Finkel 25415c2b83 Correct the pre-increment load latencies in the PPC A2 itinerary
Pre-increment loads are microcoded on the A2, and the address increment occurs
only after the load completes. As a result, the latency of the GPR address
update is an additional 2 cycles on top of the load latency.

Hal Finkel f574c27769 Greatly simplify the PPC A2 scheduling itinerary
As Andy pointed out to me a long time ago, there are no structural hazards in
the later pipeline stages of the A2, and so modeling them is useless. Also,
modeling the top pre-dispatch stages is deceiving because, when multiple
hardware threads are active, those resources are shared among the threads. The
bypass definitions were mostly wrong, and so those have been removed. The
resulting itinerary is much simpler, and more accurate.

Hal Finkel 679c73cb33 Split several PPC instruction classes.
Slight reorganisation of PPC instruction classes for scheduling. No
functionality change for existing subtargets.
 - Clearly separate load/store-with-update instructions from regular loads and stores.
 - Split IntRotateD -> IntRotateD and IntRotateDI
 - Split out fsub and fadd from FPGeneral -> FPAddSub
 - Update existing itineraries
