Rafael Espindola 8b6604b87a Bring back r293480. It is safe now.
Original message:

    Fix the values of two xcore ELF flags.

    The values in llvm grew from a pre-MC day when they would not show up
    in .o files and are outside of the SHF_MASKPROC.

    Fortunately the MC output is not currently used as xcore has its own
    assemble and that assembler uses valid values. This updates llvm to
    use the same values as the xmos assembler.

Rafael Espindola e0eba3c493 Only print architecture dependent flags for that architecture.
Different architectures can have different meaning for flags in the
SHF_MASKPROC mask, so we should always check what the architecture use
before checking the flag.

NFC for now, but will allow fixing the value of an xmos flag.

George Rimar 87bf5ada39 [ELF] - Change i386 i386-pc8.s/i386-pc16.test to work with 8/16 bits values accordingly.
ld.bfd showed error on previous inputs, result values were larger than 8/16 bits,
though ld.gold accepted them.

ABI says "The R_386_16, and R_386_8 relocations truncate the computed 
value to 16-bits and 8-bits respectively".

Patch changes inputs to have result calculated values of relocations to fit 8 and 16 bits.
That can be used for implementation of more strict checks, like bfd do.

Jonas Hahnfeld 49739f0e32 [libomptarget] Fix Debug build with glibc < 2.18
glibc < 2.18 is C99 compliant and only provides the format macros in C++ if
__STDC_FORMAT_MACROS is defined. This change fixes the debug build for
GCC 4.8, GCC 6.2 and Clang 3.9.1 that were previously broken on my machine.

It shows no regression for libc++ >= 4.0.0 which has a fix since September:

Craig Topper f6df4a6978 [AVX-512] Remove duplicate CodeGenOnly patterns for scalar register broadcast. We can use COPY_TO_REGCLASS like AVX does.
This causes stack spill slots be oversized sometimes, but the same should already be happening with AVX.

Jonas Paulsson 3f71d6a38e [LoopVectorize] Improve getVectorCallCost() getScalarizationOverhead() call.
By calling getScalarizationOverhead with the CallInst instead of the types of
its arguments, we make sure that only unique call arguments are added to the
scalarization cost.

getScalarizationOverhead() is extended to handle calls by only passing on the
actual call arguments (which is not all the operands).

This also eliminates a wrapper function with the same name.

David Blaikie 9ffe5a3525 Prototype of modules codegen
First pass at generating weak definitions of inline functions from module files
(& skipping (-O0) or emitting available_externally (optimizations)
definitions where those modules are used).

External functions defined in modules are emitted into the modular
object file as well (this may turn an existing ODR violation (if that
module were imported into multiple translations) into valid/linkable
code).

Internal symbols (static functions, for example) are not correctly
supported yet. The symbol will be produced, internal, in the modular
object - unreferenceable from the users.

Saleem Abdulrasool e4ddaa4427 experimental: remove some extraneous _LIBCPP_FUNC_VIS
These member functions were decorated with `_LIBCPP_FUNC_VIS` when the
class is also decorated with external visibility.  This breaks down when
building for PE/COFF, where the member function cannot be decorated if
it is within a decorated class.  The class attribute will propagate to
the member.  Remove the extraneous decoration.

Saleem Abdulrasool a902e7aa94 experimental: tolerate the existence of a `__deref` macro
Microsoft's SAL has a `__deref` macro which results in a compilation
failure when building the filesystem module on Windows.  Rename the
member function internally to avoid the conflict.

Craig Topper db919caf1b [AVX-512] Fix lowering for mask register concatenation with undef in the lower half.
Previously this test case fired an assertion in getNode because we tried to create an insert_subvector with both input types the same size and the index pointing to half the vector width.

Arpith Chacko Jacob cdda3daa7f [OpenMP][NVPTX][CUDA] Adding support for printf for an NVPTX OpenMP device.
Support for CUDA printf is exploited to support printf for
an NVPTX OpenMP device.

To reflect the support of both programming models, the file
CGCUDABuiltin.cpp has been renamed to CGGPUBuiltin.cpp, and
the call EmitCUDADevicePrintfCallExpr has been renamed to
EmitGPUDevicePrintfCallExpr.

Matthias Braun a4976c6166 MachineInstr: Remove parameter from dump()
The primary use of the dump() functions in LLVM is for use in a
debugger. Unfortunately lldb does not seem to handle default arguments
so using `p SomeMI.dump()` fails and you have to type the longer `p
SomeMI.dump(nullptr)`. Remove the paramter to make the most common use
easy. (You can always construct something like `p
SomeMI.print(dbgs(),MyTII)` if you need more features).

Saleem Abdulrasool 87996f906a config: prevent the re-definition of a macro
This causes unnecessary warnings when building with `cl`.  Newer
versions of the C standard permit the redefinition of the macro to the
same value (which is the case here), unfortunately, `cl` does not yet
implement this.  Add a check to prevent the redefinition.

Simon Pilgrim 76073f8d22 [X86][SSE] Lower scalar_to_vector(0) to zero vector
Replaces an xor+movd/movq with an xorps which will be shorter in codesize, avoid an int-fpu transfer, allow modern cores to fast path the result during decode and helps other combines recognise an all-zero vector.

The only reason I can think of that we'd want to keep scalar_to_vector in this case is to help recognise the upper elts are undef but this doesn't seem to be a problem.

Matthias Braun de58b61b5d llvm-c: Keep LLVMDumpModule() even in release builds
While this probably should be considered a dump debugger utility, the C
API currently has no other ways to print a module to stderr for error
reporting purposes, so keep it even in release builds.
