This commit drops that patch's changes to:
llvm/test/CodeGen/NVPTX/f16x2-instructions.ll
llvm/test/CodeGen/NVPTX/param-load-store.ll
For some reason, the dos line endings there prevent me from commiting
via the monorepo. A follow-up commit (not via the monorepo) will
finish the patch.

- Rename the ptx.read.* intrinsics to nvvm.read.ptx.sreg.* - some but
not all of these registers were already accessible via the nvvm
name.
- Rename ptx.bar.sync nvvm.bar.sync, to match nvvm.bar0.
There's a fair amount of code motion here, but it's all very
mechanical.

NVVMIntrRange adds !range metadata to calls of NVVM intrinsics
that return values within known limited range.
This allows LLVM to generate optimal code for indexing arrays
based on tid/ctaid which is a frequently used pattern in CUDA code.

Now that 3.3 is branched, we are re-enabling virtual registers to help
iron out bugs before the next release. Some of the post-RA passes do
not play well with virtual registers, so we disable them for now. The
needed functionality of the PrologEpilogInserter pass is copied to a
new backend-specific NVPTXPrologEpilog pass.
The test for this commit is not breaking the existing tests.

The new target machines are:
nvptx (old ptx32) => 32-bit PTX
nvptx64 (old ptx64) => 64-bit PTX
The sources are based on the internal NVIDIA NVPTX back-end, and
contain more functionality than the current PTX back-end currently
provides.
