Rong Xu 50da55a585 [PGO] Supporting code for always instrumenting entry block
This patch includes the supporting code that enables always
instrumenting the function entry block by default.

This patch will NOT the default behavior.

It adds a variant bit in the profile version, adds new directives in
text profile format, and changes llvm-profdata tool accordingly.

This patch is a split of D83024 (https://reviews.llvm.org/D83024)
Many test changes from D83024 are also included.

Aleksandr Urakov 867c2a7d36 [AST] Improve support of external layouts in `MicrosoftRecordLayoutBuilder`
Summary:
This patch fixes several small problems with external layouts support in
`MicrosoftRecordLayoutBuilder`:
- aligns properly the size of a struct that ends with a bit field. It was
aligned on byte before, not on the size of the field, so the struct size was
  smaller than it should be;
- adjusts the struct size when injecting a vbptr in the case when there were no
bases or fields allocated after the vbptr. Similarly, without the adjustment
  the struct was smaller than it should be;
- the same fix as above for the vfptr.
All these fixes affect the non-virtual size of a struct, so they are tested
through non-virtual inheritance.

Aleksandr Urakov 5c3d8fe853 [AST] Do not align virtual bases in `MicrosoftRecordLayoutBuilder` when
an external layout is used

Summary:
The patch removes alignment of virtual bases when an external layout is used.
We have two cases:
- the external layout source has an information about virtual bases offsets,
  so we just use them;
- the external source has no information about virtual bases offsets. In this
case we can't predict where the base will be located. If we will align it but
there will be something like `#pragma pack(push, 1)` really, then likely our
layout will not fit into the real structure size, and then some asserts will
hit. The asserts look reasonable, so I don't think that we need to remove
them. May be it would be better instead don't align fields / bases etc.
(so treat it always as `#pragma pack(push, 1)`) when an external layout source
is used but no info about a field location is presented.

Richard Smith 8654ae52b0 Add a flag to remap manglings when reading profile data information.
This can be used to preserve profiling information across codebase
changes that have widespread impact on mangled names, but across which
most profiling data should still be usable. For example, when switching
from libstdc++ to libc++, or from the old libstdc++ ABI to the new ABI,
or even from a 32-bit to a 64-bit build.

The user can provide a remapping file specifying parts of mangled names
that should be treated as equivalent (eg, std::__1 should be treated as
equivalent to std::__cxx11), and profile data will be treated as
applying to a particular function if its name is equivalent to the name
of a function in the profile data under the provided equivalences. See
the documentation change for a description of how this is configured.

Remapping is supported for both sample-based profiling and instruction
profiling. We do not support remapping indirect branch target
information, but all other profile data should be remapped
appropriately.

Support is only added for the new pass manager. If someone wants to also
add support for this for the old pass manager, doing so should be
straightforward.

Aleksandr Urakov 09240ef776 Improve support of PDB as an external layout source
Summary:
This patch improves support of PDB as an external layout source
in the next cases:

- Multiple non-virtual inheritance from packed base classes. When using
external layout, there's no need to align `NonVirtualSize` of a base class.
It may cause an overlapping when the next base classes will be layouted
(but there is a slightly different case in the test because I can't find
  a way to specify a base offset);
- Support of nameless structs and unions. There is no info about nameless child
structs and unions in Microsoft cl-emitted PDBs. Instead all its fields
are just treated as outer structure's (union's) fields. This also causes
a fields overlapping, and makes it possible for unions to have fields located
  at a non-zero offset.

Eric Fiselier 0683c0e68d [C++2a] Implement operator<=> CodeGen and ExprConstant
Summary:
This patch tackles long hanging fruit for the builtin operator<=> expressions. It is currently needs some cleanup before landing, but I want to get some initial feedback.

The main changes are:

* Lookup, build, and store the required standard library types and expressions in `ASTContext`. By storing them in ASTContext we don't need to store (and duplicate) the required expressions in the BinaryOperator AST nodes.

* Implement [expr.spaceship] checking, including diagnosing narrowing conversions.

* Implement `ExprConstant` for builtin spaceship operators.

* Implement builitin operator<=> support in `CodeGenAgg`. Initially I emitted the required comparisons using `ScalarExprEmitter::VisitBinaryOperator`, but this caused the operand expressions to be emitted once for every required cmp.

* Implement [builtin.over] with modifications to support the intent of P0946R0. See the note on `BuiltinOperatorOverloadBuilder::addThreeWayArithmeticOverloads` for more information about the workaround.

outdated command line syntax and IR debug info format, so updated for
those issues to get them back up and running.

commit was generated using the rename-md-di-nodes.sh upgrade script

David Blaikie 1326975496 DebugInfo: Forward HandleTagDeclRequiredDefinition through MultiplexConsumer to fix debug info emission in the presence of plugins.
When plugins are used the Multiplex(AST)Consumer is employed to dispatch
to both the plugin ASTConsumers and the IRGen ASTConsumer. It wasn't
dispatching a critical call for debug info, resulting in plugin users
having a negative debugging experience.

While I'm here, forward a bunch of other missing calls through the
consumer that seem like they should be there.

To test this, use the example plugin (requires plugins and examples) and
split the test case up so that the plugin testing can be done under that
requirement while the non-plugin testing will execute even in builds
that don't include plugin support or examples.

Bob Wilson bf854f0f53 Change PGO instrumentation to compute counts in a separate AST traversal.
Previously, we made one traversal of the AST prior to codegen to assign
counters to the ASTs and then propagated the count values during codegen. This
patch now adds a separate AST traversal prior to codegen for the
-fprofile-instr-use option to propagate the count values. The counts are then
saved in a map from which they can be retrieved during codegen.

This new approach has several advantages:

1. It gets rid of a lot of extra PGO-related code that had previously been
added to codegen.

2. It fixes a serious bug. My original implementation (which was mailed to the
list but never committed) used 3 counters for every loop. Justin improved it to
move 2 of those counters into the less-frequently executed breaks and continues,
but that turned out to produce wrong count values in some cases. The solution
requires visiting a loop body before the condition so that the count for the
condition properly includes the break and continue counts. Changing codegen to
visit a loop body first would be a fairly invasive change, but with a separate
AST traversal, it is easy to control the order of traversal. I've added a
testcase (provided by Justin) to make sure this works correctly.

3. It improves the instrumentation overhead, reducing the number of counters for
a loop from 3 to 1. We no longer need dedicated counters for breaks and
continues, since we can just use the propagated count values when visiting
breaks and continues.

To make this work, I needed to make a change to the way we count case
statements, going back to my original approach of not including the fall-through
in the counter values. This was necessary because there isn't always an AST node
that can be used to record the fall-through count. Now case statements are
handled the same as default statements, with the fall-through paths branching
over the counter increments. While I was at it, I also went back to using this
approach for do-loops -- omitting the fall-through count into the loop body
simplifies some of the calculations and make them behave the same as other
loops. Whenever we start using this instrumentation for coverage, we'll need
to add the fall-through counts into the counter values.

instr-profile.cpp is obviously the better name for them.
