The implementation uses the int_asan_check_memaccess intrinsic to instrument the code. The intrinsic is replaced by a call to a function which performs the access check. The generated function names encode the input register name as a number using Reg - X86::NoRegister formula.

This attempts to move all tools over to using `add_llvm_library` for
better consistency. After doing this, I noticed it ended up as nearly a
reimplementation of https://reviews.llvm.org/rL342148, which later got
reverted in r342336 (b09a8c9bd9).
With ccache and ninja on a large core machine (40), I haven't run into
build errors, so I'm hopeful it's better now, though it doesn't seem to
be any different / new.

Force linking llvm-exegesis to static LLVM libraries instead of dylib
to prevent duplicate symbols due to linking both. Ideally, we'd want
to link to the dylib only here but the target sub-libraries use hidden
symbols from LLVM target libraries and therefore linking the dylib
fails.

This probably only shows up in BUILD_SHARED_LIBS=ON builds
which might explain how it crept in.

Currently the llvm-exegesis native architecture is determined by comparing the
llvm native architecture with X86, so to add a new target would mean adding a
new check. Change this to building up a list of the targets llvm-exegesis
supports then using that, as this means that when adding a new target you just
add the target to the list of supported targets.
