Chandler Carruth 2946cd7010 Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepo
to reflect the new license.

We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header
entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the
Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach.

Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM
project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers
include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed
code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of
our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and
repository.

Evgeniy Stepanov d398471a63 [hwasan] Switch to 64 allocator with a dense size class map.
Summary:
Replace the 32-bit allocator with a 64-bit one with a non-constant
base address, and reduce both the number of size classes and the maximum
size of per-thread caches.

As measured on [1], this reduces average weighted memory overhead
(MaxRSS) from 26% to 12% over stock android allocator. These numbers
include overhead from code instrumentation and hwasan shadow (i.e. not a
pure allocator benchmark).

This switch also enables release-to-OS functionality, which is not
implemented in the 32-bit allocator. I have not seen any effect from
that on the benchmark.

Dan Liew a8334ed571 Fix `static_assert()` scope in `CombinedAllocator`.
It should be at the class scope and not inside the `Init(...)` function
because we want to error out as soon as the wrong type is constructed.
At the function scope the `static_assert` is only checked if the
function might be called.

This is a follow up to r349957.

Dan Liew 14e0d9ed89 Introduce `AddressSpaceView` template parameter to `CombinedAllocator`.
Summary:
This is a follow up to https://reviews.llvm.org/D55764 .

For the ASan and LSan allocatorsthe type declarations have been modified
so that it's possible to create a combined allocator type that
consistently uses a different type of `AddressSpaceView`. We intend to
use this in future patches. For the other sanitizers they just use
`LocalAddressSpaceView` by default because we have no plans to use these
allocators in an out-of-process manner.

Alex Shlyapnikov fd2833992a [Sanitizers] Make common allocator agnostic to failure handling modes.
Summary:
Make common allocator agnostic to failure handling modes and move the
decision up to the particular sanitizer's allocator, where the context
is available (call stack, parameters, return nullptr/crash mode etc.)

It simplifies the common allocator and allows the particular sanitizer's
allocator to generate more specific and detailed error reports (which
will be implemented later).

The behavior is largely the same, except one case, the violation of the
common allocator's check for "size + alignment" overflow is now reportied
as OOM instead of "bad request". It feels like a worthy tradeoff and
"size + alignment" is huge in this case anyway (thus, can be interpreted
as not enough memory to satisfy the request). There's also a Report()
statement added there.

Alex Shlyapnikov 028c4cddad [Sanitizers] New sanitizer API to purge allocator quarantine.
Summary:
Purging allocator quarantine and returning memory to OS might be desired
between fuzzer iterations since, most likely, the quarantine is not
going to catch bugs in the code under fuzz, but reducing RSS might
significantly prolong the fuzzing session.

Alex Shlyapnikov ccab11b0e8 [Sanitizers] Move cached allocator_may_return_null flag to sanitizer_allocator
Summary:
Move cached allocator_may_return_null flag to sanitizer_allocator.cc and
provide API to consolidate and unify the behavior of all specific allocators.

Make all sanitizers using CombinedAllocator to follow
AllocatorReturnNullOrDieOnOOM() rules to behave the same way when OOM
happens.

When OOM happens, turn allocator_out_of_memory flag on regardless of
allocator_may_return_null flag value (it used to not to be set when
allocator_may_return_null == true).

release_to_os_interval_ms and rss_limit_exceeded will likely be moved to
sanitizer_allocator.cc too (later).

Kostya Kortchinsky c74da7ce58 Corrected D27428: Do not use the alignment-rounded-up size with secondary
Summary:
I atually had an integer overflow on 32-bit with D27428 that didn't reproduce
locally, as the test servers would manage allocate addresses in the 0xffffxxxx
range, which led to some issues when rounding addresses.

At this point, I feel that Scudo could benefit from having its own combined
allocator, as we don't get any benefit from the current one, but have to work
around some hurdles (alignment checks, rounding up that is no longer needed,
extraneous code).

Kostya Kortchinsky 2defe4d9a1 [sanitizer] Do not use the alignment-rounded-up size when using the secondary
Summary:
The combined allocator rounds up the requested size with regard to the
alignment, which makes sense when being serviced by the primary as it comes
with alignment guarantees, but not with the secondary. For the rare case of
large alignments, it wastes memory, and entices unnecessarily large fields for
the Scudo header. With this patch, we pass the non-alignement-rounded-up size
to the secondary, and adapt the Scudo code for this change.

Evgeniy Stepanov d3305afc75 Return memory to OS right after free (not in the async thread).
Summary:
In order to avoid starting a separate thread to return unused memory to
the system (the thread interferes with process startup on Android,
Zygota waits for all threads to exit before fork, but this thread never
exits), try to return it right after free.
