Add GraphTraits definitions to the FunctionSummary and ModuleSummaryIndex classes. These GraphTraits will be used to construct find SCC's in ThinLTO analysis passes.
Third attempt - moved function from lambda to static function due to build failures.

If a regular LTO module has a summary index, then instead of linking
it into the combined regular LTO module right away, add it to the
combined summary index and associate it with a special module that
represents the combined regular LTO module.
Any such modules are linked during LTO::run(), at which time we use
the results of summary-based dead stripping to control whether to
link prevailing symbols.

llvm-svn: 305482
When profiling a no-op incremental link of Chromium I found that the functions
computeImportForFunction and computeDeadSymbols were consuming roughly 10% of
the profile. The goal of this change is to improve the performance of those
functions by changing the map lookups that they were previously doing into
pointer dereferences.
This is achieved by changing the ValueInfo data structure to be a pointer to
an element of the global value map owned by ModuleSummaryIndex, and changing
reference lists in the GlobalValueSummary to hold ValueInfos instead of GUIDs.
This means that a ValueInfo will take a client directly to the summary list
for a given GUID.

llvm-svn: 302108
This is to prepare for an upcoming change which uses pointers instead of
GUIDs to represent references.
Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D32469
llvm-svn: 301843
This became no longer necessary after D19462 landed, and will be incompatible
with an upcoming change to the summary data structures that changes how we
represent references.
llvm-svn: 301660
We need to add an entry in the combined-index for modules that have
a hash but otherwise empty summary, this is needed so that we can
get the hash for the module.
Also, if no entry is present in the combined index for a module, we
need to skip it when trying to compute a cache entry.
Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D25300
llvm-svn: 283654
Add a typedef for the std::map<GlobalValue::GUID, GlobalValueSummary *>
map that is passed around to identify summaries for values defined in a
particular module. This shortens up declarations in a variety of places.
llvm-svn: 267471
Summary:
Remove the GlobalValueInfo and change the ModuleSummaryIndex to directly
reference summary objects. The info structure was there to support lazy
parsing of the combined index summary objects, which is no longer
needed and not supported.

Summary:
The function import pass was computing all the imports for all the
modules in the index, and only using the imports for the current module.
Change this to instead compute only for the given module. This means
that the exports list can't be populated, but they weren't being used
anyway.
Longer term, the linker can collect all the imports and export lists
and serialize them out for consumption by the distributed backend
processes which use this pass.

(Resubmitting after fixing missing file issue)
With the changes in r263275, there are now more than just functions in
the summary. Completed the renaming of data structures (started in
r263275) to reflect the wider scope. In particular, changed the
FunctionIndex* data structures to ModuleIndex*, and renamed related
variables and comments. Also renamed the files to reflect the changes.
A companion clang patch will immediately succeed this patch to reflect
this renaming.
