Rafael Espindola 339430f993 Use DataLayout from the module when easily available.
Eventually DataLayoutPass should go away, but for now that is the only easy
way to get a DataLayout in some APIs. This patch only changes the ones that
have easy access to a Module.

One interesting issue with sometimes using DataLayoutPass and sometimes
fetching it from the Module is that we have to make sure they are equivalent.
We can get most of the way there by always constructing the pass with a Module.
In fact, the pass could be changed to point to an external DataLayout instead
of owning one to make this stricter.

Unfortunately, the C api passes a DataLayout, so it has to be up to the caller
to make sure the pass and the module are in sync.

Rafael Espindola 248ac13975 Fix resetting the DataLayout in a Module.
No tool does this currently, but as everything else in a module we should be
able to change its DataLayout.

Most of the fix is in DataLayout to make sure it can be reset properly.

The test uses Module::setDataLayout since the fact that we mutate a DataLayout
is an implementation detail. The module could hold a OwningPtr<DataLayout> and
the DataLayout itself could be immutable.

Thanks to Philip Reames for pushing me in the right direction.

Chandler Carruth 7b8e112407 [reassociate] Switch two std::sort calls into std::stable_sort calls as
their inputs come from std::stable_sort and they are not total orders.

I'm not a huge fan of this, but the really bad std::stable_sort is right
at the beginning of Reassociate. After we commit to stable-sort based
consistent respect of source order, the downstream sorts shouldn't undo
that unless they have a total order or they are used in an
order-insensitive way. Neither appears to be true for these cases.
I don't have particularly good test cases, but this jumped out by
inspection when looking for output instability in this pass due to
changes in the ordering of std::sort.

Chandler Carruth 3b79b2ab4e [SROA] Add an off-by-default *strict* inbounds check to SROA. I had SROA
implemented this way a long time ago and due to the overwhelming bugs
that surfaced, moved to a much more relaxed variant. Richard Smith would
like to understand the magnitude of this problem and it seems fairly
harmless to keep some flag-controlled logic to get the extremely strict
behavior here. I'll remove it if it doesn't prove useful.

Rafael Espindola f863ee2949 Store a DataLayout in Module.
Now that DataLayout is not a pass, store one in Module.

Since the C API expects to be able to get a char* to the datalayout description,
we have to keep a std::string somewhere. This patch keeps it in Module and also
uses it to represent modules without a DataLayout.

Once DataLayout is mandatory, we should probably move the string to DataLayout
itself since it won't be necessary anymore to represent the special case of a
module without a DataLayout.

Logan Chien 18583d71e8 Keep the link register for uwtable.
The function with uwtable attribute might be visited by the
stack unwinder, thus the link register should be considered
as clobbered after the execution of the branch and link
instruction (i.e. the definition of the machine instruction
can't be ignored) even when the callee function are marked
with noreturn.

Richard Osborne 8b7466e886 [XCore] Prefer to word align functions.
The behaviour of the XCore's instruction buffer means that the performance
of the same code sequence can differ depending on whether it starts at a 4
byte aligned address or not. Since we don't model the instruction buffer
in the backend we have no way of knowing for sure if it is beneficial to
word align a specific function. However, in the absence of precise
modelling, it is better on balance to word align functions because:

* It makes a fetch-nop while executing the prologue slightly less likely.
* If we don't word align functions then a small perturbation in one
  function can have a dramatic knock on effect. If the size of the function
  changes it might change the alignment and therefore the performance of
  all the functions that happen to follow it in the binary. This butterfly
  effect makes it harder to reason about and measure the performance of
  code.

Chandler Carruth 25adb7b00c [SROA] Use the original load name with the SROA-prefixed IRB rather than
just "load". This helps avoid pointless de-duping with order-sensitive
numbers as we already have unique names from the original load. It also
makes the resulting IR quite a bit easier to read.

Chandler Carruth cb93cd2dc9 [SROA] Thread the ability to add a pointer-specific name prefix through
the pointer adjustment code. This is the primary code path that creates
totally new instructions in SROA and being able to lump them based on
the pointer value's name for which they were created causes
*significantly* fewer name collisions and general noise in the debug
output. This is particularly significant because it is making it much
harder to track down instability in the output of SROA, as name
de-duplication is a totally harmless form of instability that gets in
the way of seeing real problems.

The new fancy naming scheme tries to dig out the root "pre-SROA" name
for pointer values and associate that all the way through the pointer
formation instructions. Digging out the root is important to prevent the
multiple iterative rounds of SROA from just layering too much cruft on
top of cruft here. We already track the layers of SROAs iteration in the
alloca name prefix. We don't need to duplicate it here.

Should have no functionality change, and shouldn't have any really
measurable impact on NDEBUG builds, as most of the complex logic is
debug-only.

Chandler Carruth 8183a50f9b [SROA] Simplify some of the logic to dig out the old pointer value by
using OldPtr more heavily. Lots of this code was written before the
rewriter had an OldPtr member setup ahead of time. There are already
asserts in place that should ensure this doesn't change any
functionality.

Chandler Carruth a8c4cc68f5 [SROA] Fix a *glaring* bug in r202091: you have to actually *write*
the break statement, not just think it to yourself....

No idea how this worked at all, much less survived most bots, my
bootstrap, and some bot bootstraps!

The Polly one didn't survive, and this was filed as PR18959. I don't
have a reduced test case and honestly I'm not seeing the need. What we
probably need here are better asserts / debug-build behavior in
SmallPtrSet so that this madness doesn't make it so far.

Chandler Carruth 83cee7722d [SROA] Add a debugging tool which shuffles the slices sequence prior to
sorting it. This helps uncover latent reliance on the original ordering
which aren't guaranteed to be preserved by std::sort (but often are),
and which are based on the use-def chain orderings which also aren't
(technically) guaranteed.

Only available in C++11 debug builds, and behind a flag to prevent noise
at the moment, but this is generally useful so figured I'd put it in the
tree rather than keeping it out-of-tree.

Chandler Carruth bb2a93241d [SROA] Use a more direct way of determining whether we are processing
the destination operand or source operand of a memmove.

It so happens that it was impossible for SROA to try to rewrite
self-memmove where the operands are *identical*, because either such
a think is volatile (and we don't rewrite) or it is non-volatile, and we
don't even register it as a use of the alloca.

However, making the 'IsDest' test *rely* on this subtle fact is... Very
confusing for the reader. We should use the direct and readily available
test of the Use* which gives us concrete information about which operand
is being rewritten.

No functionality changed, I hope! ;]

Chandler Carruth 3bf18ed5e3 [SROA] Fix another instability in SROA with respect to the slice
ordering.

The fundamental problem that we're hitting here is that the use-def
chain ordering is *itself* not a stable thing to be relying on in the
rewriting for SROA. Further, we use a non-stable sort over the slices to
arrange them based on the section of the alloca they're operating on.
With a debugging STL implementation (or different implementations in
stage2 and stage3) this can cause stage2 != stage3.

The specific aspect of this problem fixed in this commit deals with the
rewriting and load-speculation around PHIs and Selects. This, like many
other aspects of the use-rewriting in SROA, is really part of the
"strong SSA-formation" that is doen by SROA where it works very hard to
canonicalize loads and stores in *just* the right way to satisfy the
needs of mem2reg[1]. When we have a select (or a PHI) with 2 uses of the
same alloca, we test that loads downstream of the select are
speculatable around it twice. If only one of the operands to the select
needs to be rewritten, then if we get lucky we rewrite that one first
and the select is immediately speculatable. This can cause the order of
operand visitation, and thus the order of slices to be rewritten, to
change an alloca from promotable to non-promotable and vice versa.

The fix is to defer all of the speculation until *after* the rewrite
phase is done. Once we've rewritten everything, we can accurately test
for whether speculation will work (once, instead of twice!) and the
order ceases to matter.

This also happens to simplify the other subtlety of speculation -- we
need to *not* speculate anything unless the result of speculating will
make the alloca fully promotable by mem2reg. I had a previous attempt at
simplifying this, but it was still pretty horrible.

There is actually already a *really* nice test case for this in
basictest.ll, but on multiple STL implementations and inputs, we just
got "lucky". Fortunately, the test case is very small and we can
essentially build it in exactly the opposite way to get reasonable
coverage in both directions even from normal STL implementations.

Bernard Ogden 301bafed78 Permit CMAKE_INSTALL_RPATH to be set on command line
Commit 201921 overrides setting of CMAKE_INSTALL_RPATH via the
command line. Last time this happened we applied another patch
to only set CMAKE_INSTALL_RPATH if already defined (r197825).
This patch does the same thing again, but only for the UNIX
case - we leave APPLE alone as presumably the original committer
is happy with the non-overriding behaviour.

Simon Atanasyan 2b614e1163 llvm-objdump: Do not attempt to disassemble symbols outside of section
boundaries.

It is possible to create an ELF executable where symbol from say .text
section 'points' to the address outside the section boundaries. It does
not have a sense to disassemble something outside the section.

Without this fix llvm-objdump prints finite or infinite (depends on
the executable file architecture) number of 'invalid instruction
encoding' warnings.

Rafael Espindola 90c7f1cc16 Replace the F_Binary flag with a F_Text one.
After this I will set the default back to F_None. The advantage is that
before this patch forgetting to set F_Binary would corrupt a file on windows.
Forgetting to set F_Text produces one that cannot be read in notepad, which
is a better failure mode :-)

Arnold Schwaighofer 6ccda923e5 LTO: Add the loop vectorizer to the LTO pipeline.
During the LTO phase LICM will move loop invariant global variables out of loops
(informed by GlobalModRef). This makes more loops countable presenting
opportunity for the loop vectorizer.

Adding the loop vectorizer improves some TSVC benchmarks and twolf/ref dataset
(5%) on x86-64.

Rafael Espindola 5c20ac0134 Simplify remove, create_directory and create_directories.
Before this patch they would take an boolean argument to say if the path
already existed. This was redundant with the returned error_code which is able
to represent that. This allowed for callers to incorrectly check only the
existed flag instead of first checking the error code.

Instead, pass in a boolean flag to say if the previous (non-)existence should be
an error or not.

Callers of the of the old simple versions are not affected. They still ignore
the previous (non-)existence as they did before.

The LLVMSupport library implementation consolidates all dependencies on
system libraries.  Move the logic gathering system libraries out of
'cmake/modules/LLVM-Config.cmake' and into 'lib/Support/CMakeLists.txt'.
Use the target_link_libraries() command there to tell CMake about the
link dependencies of the LLVMSupport implementation.  CMake will
automatically propagate this to all targets that link LLVMSupport
directly or indirectly.

We still need to build knowledge of system library dependencies into
'llvm-config'.  Store the list of libraries needed in a property on
LLVMSupport and teach 'tools/llvm-config/CMakeLists.txt' to retrieve it
from there.

Drop all calls to 'link_system_libs' and 'get_system_libs' from our
CMake code.  Replace their implementations with a warning that explains
the calls are no longer necessary.  Also drop from 'LLVMConfig.cmake'
the HAVE_* and related variables that were published there only to allow
'get_system_libs' to run outside our build process.

Rafael Espindola f12b82824a Add a SymbolicFile interface between Binary and ObjectFile.
This interface allows IRObjectFile to be implemented without having dummy
methods for all section and segment related methods.

Both llvm-ar and llvm-nm are changed to use it. Unfortunately the mangler is
still not plugged in since it requires some refactoring to make a Module hold
a DataLayout.

Sebastian Pop 29026d3e52 normalize the last delinearized dimension
in the dependence test, we used to discard some information that the
delinearization provides: the size of the innermost dimension of an array,
i.e., the size of scalars stored in the array, and the remainder of the
delinearization that provides the offset from which the array reads start,
i.e., the base address of the array.

To avoid losing this data in the rest of the data dependence analysis, the fix
is to multiply the access function in the last delinearized dimension by its
size, effectively making the size of the last dimension to always be in bytes,
and then add the remainder of delinearization to the last subscript,
effectively making the last subscript start at the base address of the array.

Sebastian Pop 5133d2e9d4 fail delinearization when the size of subscripts differs
Because the delinearization is not a global analysis pass, it will compute the
delinearization independently of knowledge about the way the delinearization
happened for other data accesses to the same array: the dependence analysis will
only trigger the delinearization on a tuple of access functions, and thus
delinearization may compute different subscripts sizes for a same array.  When
that happens the safest is to discard the delinearized information.

The module still needs to collect the list of all available libraries
in order to satisfy the 'all' component.  Provide this in the package
configuration file, 'LLVMConfig.cmake', as a LLVM_AVAILABLE_LIBS
variable.  (A variable is scoped better than a global property.)
Since this won't be set for our own build, fall back to looking up the
LLVM_LIBS property to get the value when it is not set.

Filip Pizlo c95bd8d88f Stackmaps are used for OSR exits, which is a custom kind of unwinding. Hence, they
should not be marked nounwind.

Marking them nounwind caused crashes in the WebKit FTL JIT, because if we enable 
sufficient optimizations, LLVM starts eliding compact_unwind sections (or any unwind 
data for that matter), making deoptimization via stackmaps impossible.

This changes the stackmap intrinsic to be may-throw, adds a test for exactly the 
sympton that WebKit saw, and fixes TableGen to handle un-attributed intrinsics.

Eli Bendersky 7da92ed879 Set the SuppressWarnings option on tool level and propagate to the library.
The SuppressWarnings flag, unfortunately, isn't very useful for custom tools
that want to use the LLVM module linker. So I'm changing it to a parameter of
the Linker, and the flag itself moves to the llvm-link tool.

For the time being as SuppressWarnings is pretty much the only "option" it
seems reasonable to propagate it to Linker objects. If we end up with more
options in the future, some sort of "struct collecting options" may be a
better idea.

Daniel Sanders 5a1449dab4 [mips] Make it impossible to have UnknownABI in CodeGen and Integrated Assembler.
Summary:
This removes the need to coerce UnknownABI to the default ABI (O32 for
MIPS32, N64 for MIPS64 [*]) in both MipsSubtarget and MipsAsmParser.

Clang has been updated to disable both possible default ABI's before enabling
the ABI it intends to use.

[*] N64 being the default for MIPS64 is not actually correct.
    However N32 is not fully implemented/tested yet.

Daniel Sanders e70897f3ea [mips] Make mips64 the default CPU for the mips64 architecture
Summary:
This is consistent with the integrated assembler.
All mips64 codegen tests previously passed -mcpu. Removed -mcpu from
blez_bgez.ll and const-mult.ll to cover the default case.

Ideally, the two implementations of selectMipsCPU() will be merged but it's
proven difficult to find a home for the function that doesn't cause link errors.
For now, we'll hoist the common functionality into a function and mark it with
FIXME's.

Eric Christopher 420569be04 Add support for hashing attributes with DW_FORM_block. This required
passing down an AsmPrinter instance so we could compute the size of
the block which could be target specific. All of the test cases in
the unittest don't have any target specific data so we can use a NULL
AsmPrinter there. This also depends upon block data being added as
integers.

We can now hash the entire fission-cu.ll compile unit so turn the
flag on there with the hash value.

Rafael Espindola daeafb4c2a Add back r201608, r201622, r201624 and r201625
r201608 made llvm corretly handle private globals with MachO. r201622 fixed
a bug in it and r201624 and r201625 were changes for using private linkage,
assuming that llvm would do the right thing.

They all got reverted because r201608 introduced a crash in LTO. This patch
includes a fix for that. The issue was that TargetLoweringObjectFile now has
to be initialized before we can mangle names of private globals. This is
trivially true during the normal codegen pipeline (the asm printer does it),
but LTO has to do it manually.

Eli Bendersky f0f210052f Refactor TargetOptions initialization into a single place.
The same code (~20 lines) for initializing a TargetOptions object from CodeGen
cmdline flags is duplicated 4 times in 4 different tools. This patch moves it
into a utility function.

Since the CodeGen/CommandFlags.h file defines cl::opt flags in a header, it's
a bit of a touchy situation because we should only link them into tools. So this
patch puts the init function in the header.

Tim Northover aeb8e06d4c X86 CodeGenPrep: sink shufflevectors before shifts
On x86, shifting a vector by a scalar is significantly cheaper than shifting a
vector by another fully general vector. Unfortunately, because SelectionDAG
operates on just one basic block at a time, the shufflevector instruction that
reveals whether the right-hand side of a shift *is* really a scalar is often
not visible to CodeGen when it's needed.

This adds another handler to CodeGenPrepare, to sink any useful shufflevector
instructions down to the basic block where they're used, predicated on a target
hook (since on other architectures, doing so will often just introduce extra
real work).

Rui Ueyama c514a8041f llvm-objdump/COFF: Print load configuration table.
Load Configuration Table may contain a pointer to SEH table. This patch is to
print the offset to the table. Printing SEH table contents is a TODO.

The layout of Layout Configuration Table is described in Microsoft PE/COFF
Object File Format Spec, but the table's offset/size descriptions seems to be
totally wrong, at least in revision 8.3 of the spec. I believe the table in
this patch is the correct one.

Saleem Abdulrasool f903a44728 MCAsmParser: support required parameters
This enhances the macro parser to parse and handle parameter qualifications,
which is needed to support required formal parameters in macro definitions.  A
required parameter may not be defaulted (though providing a default value is
accepted with a warning).  This improves GAS compatibility.

Rather than using std::pair, create a structure to represent the type.  This is
a preliminary refactoring to enable required parameter handling.  Additional
state is needed to indicate required parameters.  This has a minor side effect

Rafael Espindola b9ea63c551 Avoid an infinite cycle with private linkage and -f{data|function}-sections.
When outputting an object we check its section to find its name, but when
looking for the section with -ffunction-section we look for the symbol name.

Break the loop by requesting a name with the private prefix when constructing
the section name. This matches the behavior before r201608.

Rafael Espindola 09dcc6a536 Fix PR18743.
The IR
@foo = private constant i32 42

is valid, but before this patch we would produce an invalid MachO from it. It
was invalid because it would use an L label in a section where the liker needs
the labels in order to atomize it.

One way of fixing it would be to just reject this IR in the backend, but that
would not be very front end friendly.

What this patch does is use an 'l' prefix in sections that we know the linker
requires symbols for atomizing them. This allows frontends to just use
private and not worry about which sections they go to or how the linker handles
them.

One small issue with this strategy is that now a symbol name depends on the
section, which is not available before codegen. This is not a problem in
practice. The reason is that it only happens with private linkage, which will
be ignored by the non codegen users (llvm-nm and llvm-ar).

Lang Hames 9b2dc930d7 Consistently check 'IsCode' when allocating sections in RuntimeDyld (via
findOrEmitSection).

Vaidas Gasiunas's patch, r201259, fixed one instance where we were always
allocating sections as text. This patch fixes the remaining buggy call sites.

No test case: This isn't breaking anything that I know of, it's just
inconsistent.

Justin Bogner e9a3e5a93e llvm-cov: Support gcov's extermely lenient treatment of -o
In gcov, the -o flag can accept either a directory or a file name.
When given a directory, the gcda and gcno files are expected to be in
that directory. When given a file, the gcda and gcno files are
expected to be named based on the stem of that file. Non-existent
paths are treated as files.

This implements compatible behaviour.

Introducing llvm-profdata, a tool for merging profile data generated by
PGO instrumentation in clang.

- The name indicates a file extension of <name>.profdata.  Eventually
  profile data output by clang should be changed to that extension.

- llvm-profdata merges two profiles.  However, the name is more general,
  since it will likely pick up more tasks (such as summarizing a single
  profile).

- llvm-profdata parses the current text-based format, but will be
  updated once we settle on a binary format.

Kevin Enderby 6287371ce6 Fix the arm assembler so that this malformed instruction:
ldrd r6, r7 [r2, #15]
simply gives an error and does not triggers an assertion.

As Jim points out, the diagnostic is really strange here,
but fixing that would be more complicated. The missing
comma results in the parser expecting a construct like r2[2],
which is the vector index thing the error message is talking
about. That's not what the user intended, though, and there's
nothing else in the instruction that looks at all like a vector.
Yet more fallout from not having a real parser here and trying
to do context-free generic matching for addressing modes.

Saleem Abdulrasool 6d7c0c203e MCAsmParser: better handling for named arguments
Until this point only macro definition with named parameters were parsed but the
names were ignored.  This adds support for using that information for named
parameter instantiation.

In order to support the full semantics of the keyword arguments, the arguments
are no longer lazily initialised since the keyword arguments can be specified
out of order and partially if they are defaulted.  Prepopulate the arguments
with the default value for any defaulted parameters, and then parse the
specified arguments.

This simplies some of the handling of the arguments in the inner loop since
empty arguments simply increment the parameter index and move on.

Note that keyword and positional arguments cannot be mixed.

Mark Seaborn be266aa325 Use 16 byte stack alignment for NaCl on ARM
NaCl's ARM ABI uses 16 byte stack alignment, so set that in
ARMSubtarget.cpp.

Using 16 byte alignment exposes an issue in code generation in which a
varargs function leaves a 4 byte gap between the values of r1-r3 saved
to the stack and the following arguments that were passed on the
stack.  (Previously, this code only needed to support 4 byte and 8
byte alignment.)

With this issue, llc generated:

the preceeding loop's induction variable (the type and/or step direction) has
changed). When we come to instantiate this SCEV we created a second induction
variable in this preceeding loop.  This patch tries to base such derived
induction variables of the preceeding loop's induction variable.

This helps twolf on arm and seems to help scimark2 on x86.

Reapply with a fix for the case of a value derived from a pointer.

Eric Christopher 4a74104933 Add a DIELoc class to cover the DW_FORM_exprloc set of expressions
alongside DIEBlock and replace uses accordingly. Use DW_FORM_exprloc
in DWARF4 and later code. Update testcases.

Adding a DIELoc instead of using extra forms inside DIEBlock so
that we can keep location expressions separate from other uses. No
direct use at the moment, however, it's not a lot of code and
using a separately named class keeps it somewhat more obvious
what's going on in various locations.

Saleem Abdulrasool 49480bf01c ARM IAS: (partially) support .arch_extension directive
This adds a partial implementation of the .arch_extension directive to the
integrated ARM assembler.  There are a number of limitations to this
implementation arising from the target backend support rather than the
implementation itself.  Namely, iWMMXT (v1 and v2), Maverick, and XScale support
is not present in the ARM backend.  Currently, there is no check for A-class
only (needed for virt), and no ARMv6k detection (needed for os and sec).  The
remainder of the extensions are fully supported.

This broke in r185459 while TLS support was being generalized to handle
non-symbol TLS representations.

I thought about/tried having an enum rather than a bool to track the
TLS-ness of the address table entry, but namespaces and naming seemed
more hassle than it was worth for only one caller that needed to specify
this.

David Blaikie 2494fdb838 DwarfUnit: Refactor out DW_AT_stmt_list creation into common function for fission and non-fission cases
This probably also addresses the FIXME in the fission case regarding
multiple compile units, though I haven't tested that.

This code still confuses me (the literal zero offset makes little sense,
the limitations surrounding asm output I'm not sure about either - but
perhaps we should just always emit one line table? Or should we not rely
on .loc/.file even in assembly so we can produce the same output between
asm and object output?) but this maintains the existing functionality.

Rafael Espindola 30616362d3 Add extern template instantiations of llvm::Calculate.
This should be a small build time improvement in general and fixes
the build on OS X with -DBUILD_SHARED_LIBS=ON.

The issue is that not all users are including GenericDomTreeConstruction.h,
causing undefined references when ld64 managed to hide the
linkonce_odr symbols.

David Blaikie 9acebfdd94 DebugInfo: Don't include the name of the CU file in the line table file list when it's unneeded
Recommitting r201380 (reverted in r201389)
Recommitting r201351 and r201355 (reverted in r201351 and r201355)

We weren't emitting the an empty (header only) line table when the line
table was empty - this made the DWARF invalid (the compile unit would
point to the zero-size debug_lines section where there should've been an
empty line table but there was nothing at all). Fix that, and as a
consequence this works around/addresses PR18809.

Also, we emit a non-empty line table to workaround a darwin linker bug,
so XFAILing on darwin too.

Also, mark the test as 'REQUIRES: object-emission' because it does.

Reed Kotler 4cdaa7d778 This patch has two main functions:
1) Fix a specific bug when certain conversion functions are called in a program compiled as mips16 with hard float and
the program is linked as c++. There are two libraries that are reversed in the link order with gcc/g++ and clang/clang++ for
mips16 in this case and the proper stubs will then not be called. These stubs are normally handled in the Mips16HardFloat pass
but in this case we don't know at that time that we need to generate the stubs. This must all be handled later in code generation
and we have moved this functionality to MipsAsmPrinter. When linked as C (gcc or clang) the proper stubs are linked in from libc.

2) Set up the infrastructure to handle 90% of what is in the Mips16HardFloat pass in this new area of MipsAsmPrinter. This is a more
logical place to handle this and we have known for some time that we needed to move the code later and not implement it using
inline asm as we do now but it was not clear exactly where to do this and what mechanism should be used. Now it's clear to us
how to do this and this patch contains the infrastructure to move most of this to MipsAsmPrinter but the actual moving will be done
in a follow on patch. The same infrastructure is used to fix this current bug as described in #1. This change was requested by the list
during the original putback of the Mips16HardFloat pass but was not practical for us do at that time.

Hao Liu 7146ef8542 [AArch64]Fix the assertion failure caused by "v1i1 SETCC" DAG node.
As v1i1 is illegal, the type legalizer tries to scalarize such node. But if the type operands of SETCC is legal, the scalarization algorithm will cause an assertion failure.

Juergen Ributzka b575878145 [X86] Don't mark movabsq as cheap-as-move - it isn't that cheap.
A simple register copy on X86 is just 3 bytes, whereas movabsq is a 10 byte
instruction. Marking movabsq as not beeing cheap will allow LICM to move it
out of the loop and it also prevents unnecessary rematerializations if the
value is needed in more than one register.

Diego Novillo b1b5007c52 Fix generation of 'isa' and 'discriminator' keywords.
Summary:
There should be a space before each of these two keywords to avoid
generating invalid assembly files.

NOTE: I could not find an obvious maintainers in CODE_OWNERS.TXT, but
      this seems related to debug info.

Reid Kleckner 0f679177e1 Tweak an _MSC_VER ifdef to use typename with clang in a unittest
In theory, Clang should figure out how to parse this correctly without
typename, but since this is the last TU that Clang falls back on in the
self-host, I'm going to compromise and check for __clang__.

And now Clang can self-host on -win32 without fallback!  The 'check' and
'check-clang' targets both pass.

Rafael Espindola b6f72b240f Use mkdir instead of stat+mkdir.
This is an optimistic version of create_diretories: it tries to create the
directory first and looks at the parent only if that fails.

Running strace on "mkdir -p" shows that it is pessimistic, calling mkdir on
every element of the path. We could implement that if needed.

In any case, with both strategies there is no reason to call stat, just check
the return of mkdir.

Daniel Sanders 753e17629d Re-commit: Demote EmitRawText call in AsmPrinter::EmitInlineAsm() and remove hasRawTextSupport() call
Summary:
AsmPrinter::EmitInlineAsm() will no longer use the EmitRawText() call for
targets with mature MC support. Such targets will always parse the inline
assembly (even when emitting assembly). Targets without mature MC support
continue to use EmitRawText() for assembly output.

The hasRawTextSupport() check in AsmPrinter::EmitInlineAsm() has been replaced
with MCAsmInfo::UseIntegratedAs which when true, causes the integrated assembler
to parse inline assembly (even when emitting assembly output). UseIntegratedAs
is set to true for targets that consider any failure to parse valid assembly
to be a bug. Target specific subclasses generally enable the integrated
assembler in their constructor. The default value can be overridden with
-no-integrated-as.

All tests that rely on inline assembly supporting invalid assembly (for example,
those that use mnemonics such as 'foo' or 'hello world') have been updated to
disable the integrated assembler.

Changes since review (and last commit attempt):
- Fixed test failures that were missed due to configuration of local build.
  (fixes crash.ll and a couple others).
- Fixed tests that happened to pass because the local build was on X86
  (should fix 2007-12-17-InvokeAsm.ll)
- mature-mc-support.ll's should no longer require all targets to be compiled.
  (should fix ARM and PPC buildbots)
- Object output (-filetype=obj and similar) now forces the integrated assembler
  to be enabled regardless of default setting or -no-integrated-as.
  (should fix SystemZ buildbots)
