Alex Lorenz a43d1aa852 [clang] Make 'align-mismatch' warning work without an associated function declaration
This change fixes a crash where a NULL fd was used to emit a diagnostic.
Instead of crashing, just avoid printing the declaration name when there's no
associated function declaration.

end for pointer types spelled with a `*`.

Duncan P. N. Exon Smith 9902362701 Support: Use sys::path::is_style_{posix,windows}() in a few places
Use the new sys::path::is_style_posix() and is_style_windows() in a few
places that need to detect the system's native path style.

In llvm/lib/Support/Path.cpp, this patch removes most uses of the
private `real_style()`, where is_style_posix() and is_style_windows()
are just a little tidier.

Elsewhere, this removes `_WIN32` macro checks. Added a FIXME to a
FileManagerTest that seemed fishy, but maintained the existing
behaviour.

Keith Smiley bd8a9507ef [clang][driver] Fix multiarch output name with -Wl arg
Previously if you passed a `-Wl,-foo` _before_ the source filename, the
first `InputInfos`, which is used for the base input name would be an
`InputArg` kind, which would never have a base input name. Now we use
that by default, but pick the first `InputInfo` that is of kind
`Filename` to get the name from if there is one.

Denys Petrov 1deccd05ba [analyzer] Retrieve a character from StringLiteral as an initializer for constant arrays.
Summary: Assuming that values of constant arrays never change, we can retrieve values for specific position(index) right from the initializer, if presented. Retrieve a character code by index from StringLiteral which is an initializer of constant arrays in global scope.

This patch has a known issue of getting access to characters past the end of the literal. The declaration, in which the literal is used, is an implicit cast of kind `array-to-pointer`. The offset should be in literal length's bounds. This should be distinguished from the states in the Standard C++20 [dcl.init.string] 9.4.2.3. Example:
  const char arr[42] = "123";
  char c = arr[41]; // OK
  const char * const str = "123";
  char c = str[41]; // NOK

Martin Storsjö d758069f5e [clang] [MinGW] Guess the right ix86 arch name spelling as sysroot
For x86, most contempory mingw toolchains use i686 as 32 bit
x86 arch target.

As long as the target triple is set to the right form, this works
fine, either as the compiler's default target, or via e.g.
a triple prefix like i686-w64-mingw32-clang.

However, if the unprefixed toolchain targets x86_64, but the user
tries to switch it to target 32 bit by adding the -m32 option, the
computeTargetTriple function in Clang, together with
Triple::get32BitArchVariant, sets the arch to i386. This causes
the right sysroot to not be found.

When targeting an arch where there are potential spelling ambiguities
with respect to the sysroots (i386 and arm), check if the driver can
find a sysroot with the arch name - if not, try a couple other
candidates.

Félix Cloutier 6a5f743772 format_arg attribute should allow instancetype in NSString definition
- [[format_arg(N)]] tells Clang that a method returns a format string with
specifiers equivalent to those passed in the string at argument #N. It
obviously requires the argument and the return type to be strings both.
- `instancetype` is a special return type available in Objective-C class
definitions that Clang expands to the most-derived statically known type on
  use.
- In Objective-C mode, NSString is allowed in lieu of a C string, both as input
and output. However, _in the definition of NSString_, Clang rejects format_arg
on methods that return NSString. This PR addresses this issue by substituting
`instancetype` with the enclosing definition's type during the validation of
  `format_arg`.

Balazs Benics 49285f43e5 [analyzer] sprintf is a taint propagator not a source
Due to a typo, `sprintf()` was recognized as a taint source instead of a

This typo effectively turned the `sprintf()` into an unconditional taint

Félix Cloutier d378a0febc [Sema] Recognize format argument indicated by format attribute inside blocks
- `[[format(archetype, fmt-idx, ellipsis)]]` specifies that a function accepts a
format string and arguments according to `archetype`. This is how Clang
type-checks `printf` arguments based on the format string.
- Clang has a `-Wformat-nonliteral` warning that is triggered when a function
with the `format` attribute is called with a format string that is not
inspectable because it isn't constant. This warning is suppressed if the
caller has the `format` attribute itself and the format argument to the callee
is the caller's own format parameter.
- When using the `format` attribute on a block, Clang wouldn't recognize its
format parameter when calling another function with the format attribute. This
would cause unsuppressed -Wformat-nonliteral warnings for no supported reason.
