Fangrui Song b159906a9a [test] Change llvm-readobj -long-option to --long-option or well-known short options. NFC
Also change some options that have different semantics (cause confusion) in llvm-readelf mode:

-s => -S
-t => --symbols
-sd => --section-data

James Henderson 4ba1777a2d [ELF] Remove checking for spurious '@' at the end of dynamic sym names
llvm-readobj currently has a bug (see PR40097) where it prints '@' at
the end of unversioned dynamic symbols. This bug will be fixed in a
separate later commit, but these tests need fixing first.

Fangrui Song fe36417f6e [ELF] .gnu.hash bloom filter: use Shift2 = 26 instead of 6
Summary:
For the 2-bit bloom filter, we currently pick the bits Hash%64 and Hash>>6%64 (Shift2=6), but bits [6:...] are also used to select a word, causing a loss of precision.

In this patch, we choose Shift2=26, with is suggested by Ambrose Feinstein.

Note, Shift2 is computed as maskbitslog2 in bfd/elflink.c and gold/dynobj.cc
It is varying with the number of dynamic symbols but we don't
necessarily copy its rule.

Chris Jackson 1a721eb3a2 [lld] Make tests calling llvm-ar more robust
Some lit tests that call llvm-ar use the 'r' flag. If the target archive
already exists and is in a corrupt state, this can cause the test to fail. We
have added 'rm -f' calls before the llvm-ar calls to increase the
robustness of the tests.

Zaara Syeda f61b0733a8 [PPC64] Remove support for ELF V1 ABI in LLD
The current support for V1 ABI in LLD is incomplete.
This patch removes V1 ABI support and changes the default behavior to V2 ABI,
issuing an error when using the V1 ABI. It also updates the testcases to V2
and removes any V1 specific tests.

Rui Ueyama ba32e739b2 Remove GnuHashTableSection::getShift2().
Choosing a Shift2 value based on wordsize is cargo-culted from gold.
Assuming that djb hash is a good hash function, choosing bits [4,9]
shouldn't be any worse or better than choosing bits [5,10]. We shouldn't
have copied that behavior that we can't justify in the first place.

George Rimar 2ab9362bf5 [ELF] - Never create .gnu_hash with NBuckets == 0.
Currently, we can end up with NBuckets==0 and android loader
does not like it (PR36537).

Seems we can go with a minimal amount of changes here for simplicity
and be consistent with gold and so just always use >= 1 value for NBuckets.

Rafael Espindola 06ea0ce1c9 Handle shared symbols in the gnu hash construction.
They are special in that they they need to be in the hash table iff we
are linking an executable that preempts them.

Rafael Espindola 07412df152 Bring back the rest of r315721.
The original patch was reported to break a libcxx bot. Unfortunately I
could not reproduce the issue and the bot log is not available anymore.

This patch changes the handling of shared symbols. I will watch the
bot and see it breaks.

Original message:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Handle shared and lazy symbol in the gnu hash construction.

We were not considering those symbols undefined and they could end up
in the end of the dynamic symbol table.

Rui Ueyama 486369fc1a Do not set entsize for .gnu.hash.
.gnu.hash happen to contain only 32-bit integers for 32-bit arch,
but the section contents are not uniform array members, so setting
entsize doesn't make much sense. This behavior seems to have been
blindly copied from GNU linkers.

George Rimar 63a6ca9150 [ELF] Implements -z relro: create an ELF "PT_GNU_RELRO" segment header in the object.
Partial (-z relro) and full (-z relro, -z now) relro cases are implemented.

Partial relro:
The ELF sections are reordered so that the ELF internal data sections (.got, .dtors, etc.) precede the program's data sections (.data and .bss).
.got is readonly, .got.plt is still writeable.

Full relro:
Supports all the features of partial RELRO, .got.plt is also readonly.

Rui Ueyama e79b09a616 ELF: Make .note.GNU-stack more compatible with traditional linkers.
With this patch, lld creates PT_GNU_STACK segments only when all input
files have .note.GNU-stack sections. This is in line with other linkers
with a minor difference (we don't care about .note.GNU-stack rwx bits as
you can always remove .note.GNU-stack sections instead of setting x bit.)

At least, NetBSD loader does not understand PT_GNU_STACK segments and
reject any executables that have the section. This patch makes lld
compatible with such operating systems.
