I am working on support for forwarding parameter names in make_unique-like functions, first for inlay hints, later maybe for signature help.
For that to work generically, I'd like to parse all of these functions in the preamble. Not sure how this impacts performance on large codebases though.

Renaming header guards to match the LLVM convention.
This patch was created by automatically applying the fixes from
clang-tidy.
I've removed the [NFC] tag from the title, as we're adding header guards in some files and thus might trigger behavior changes.

These can be invoked at different stages while building an AST to let
FeatureModules implement features on top of it. The patch also
introduces a sawDiagnostic hook, which can mutate the final clangd::Diag
while reading a clang::Diagnostic.

Implement initial support for pull-based diagnostics in ClangdServer.
This is planned for LSP 3.17, and initial proposal is in
d15eb0671e/protocol/src/common/proposed.diagnostic.ts (L111).
We chose to serve the requests only when clangd has a fresh preamble
available. In case of a stale preamble we just drop the request on the
floor.
This patch doesn't plumb this to LSP layer yet, as pullDiags is still a
proposal with only an implementation in vscode.

Added some new ClangTidyOptionsProvider like classes designed for clangd work flow.
These providers are designed to source the options on the worker thread but in a thread safe manner.
This is done through making the options getter take a pointer to the filesystem used by the worker thread which natuarally is from a ThreadsafeFS.
Internal caching in the providers is also guarded.
The providers don't inherit from `ClangTidyOptionsProvider` instead they share a base class which is able to create a provider for the `ClangTidyContext` using a specific FileSystem.
This approach means one provider can be used for multiple contexts even though `ClangTidyContext` owns its provider.

When preamble contains #undef, indexing code finds the matching #define
and uses that during indexing. However, it would only look for local
definitions. If the macro was defined in a module, MacroInfo
would be nullptr and clangd would crash.
This change makes clangd ignore any #undef without a matching #define
inside the same TU.
The indexing of macros happens for preamble only, so then #undef must be
in the preamble, which is why we need two .h files in a test.
Note that clangd is currently not ready for module support, but this
brings us one step closer.
This was previously attempted in
4061d9e42c, but had to be reverted due to
broken test. This version fixes that test-only bug by setting a custom module
cache path to avoid re-use of modules across test invocations.

This reverts commit 4061d9e42c.
Tests are failing in some configuration, likely due to not cleaning up
module cache path before running the test.

This is how it should've been and brings it more in line with
std::string_view. There should be no functional change here.
This is mostly mechanical from a custom clang-tidy check, with a lot of
manual fixups. It uncovers a lot of minor inefficiencies.
This doesn't actually modify StringRef yet, I'll do that in a follow-up.
Summary:
The historic behavior of TestTU is to gather diagnostics and otherwise ignore
them. So if a test has a syntax error, and doesn't assert diagnostics, it
silently misbehaves.
This can be annoying when developing tests, as evidenced by various tests
gaining "assert no diagnostics" where that's not really the point of the test.
This patch aims to make that default behavior. For the first error
(not warning), TestTU will call ADD_FAILURE().
This can be suppressed with a comment containing "error-ok". For now that will
suppress any errors in the TU. We can make this stricter later -verify style.
(-verify itself is hard to reuse because of DiagnosticConsumer interfaces...)
A magic-comment was chosen over a TestTU option because of table-driven tests.
In addition to the behavior change, this patch:
- adds //error-ok where we're knowingly testing invalid code
(e.g. for diagnostics, crash-resilience, or token-level tests)
- fixes a bunch of errors in the checked-in tests, mostly trivial (missing ;)
- removes a bunch of now-redundant instances of "assert no diagnostics"

Maybe a rename to ParsedTU would be an improvement, but that's a much
more invasive change and life is too short.

Summary:
Motivation:
- this layout is a pain to work with
- without a common root, it's painful to express things like "disable clangd" (D61122)
- CMake/lit configs are a maintenance hazard, and the more the one-off hacks
for various tools are entangled, the more we see apathy and non-ownership.
This attempts to use the bare-minimum configuration needed (while still
supporting the difficult cases: windows, standalone clang build, dynamic libs).
In particular the lit.cfg.py and lit.site.cfg.py.in are merged into lit.cfg.in.
The logic in these files is now minimal.
(Much of clang-tools-extra's lit configs can probably be cleaned up by reusing
lit.llvm.llvm_config.use_clang(), and every llvm project does its own version of
LDPATH mangling. I haven't attempted to fix any of those).
Docs are still in clang-tools-extra/docs, I don't have any plans to touch those.
