OpenMP 4.1 introduces optional argument '(n)' for 'ordered' clause, where 'n' is a number of loops that immediately follow the directive.
'n' must be constant positive integer expressions and it must be less or equal than the number of the loops in the resulting loop nest.

We were still using the Unix response file tokenizer for all driver
modes. This was difficult to get right in the beginning because there is
a circular dependency. The Driver class also can't officially determine
its mode until it can see all possible --driver-mode= flags, and those
flags could come from the response file.
Now we use the Windows parsing algorithm if the program name looks like
clang-cl, or if the --driver-mode=cl flag is present on the main command
line.

allocated in libclang.dll but being freed in the test executable, possibly
by a different memory manager. This patch exposes a new export function,
clang_free(), used to free any allocated memory with the same libclang.dll

Teach C++'s tentative parsing to handle specializations of Objective-C
class types (e.g., NSArray<NSString *>) as well as Objective-C
protocol qualifiers (id<NSCopying>) by extending type-annotation
tokens to handle this case. As part of this, remove Objective-C
protocol qualifiers from the declaration specifiers, which never
really made sense: instead, provide Sema entry points to make them
part of the type annotation token. Among other things, this properly
diagnoses bogus types such as "<NSCopying> id" which should have been
written as "id <NSCopying>".
Implements template instantiation support for, e.g., NSArray<T>*
in C++. Note that parameterized classes are not templates in the C++
sense, so that cannot (for example) be used as a template argument for

Objective-C type arguments can be provided in angle brackets following
an Objective-C interface type. Syntactically, this is the same
position as one would provide protocol qualifiers (e.g.,
id<NSCopying>), so parse both together and let Sema sort out the
ambiguous cases. This applies both when parsing types and when parsing
the superclass of an Objective-C class, which can now be a specialized
type (e.g., NSMutableArray<T> inherits from NSArray<T>).
Check Objective-C type arguments against the type parameters of the
corresponding class. Verify the length of the type argument list and
that each type argument satisfies the corresponding bound.
Specializations of parameterized Objective-C classes are represented
in the type system as distinct types. Both specialized types (e.g.,
NSArray<NSString *> *) and unspecialized types (NSArray *) are
represented, separately.

A PCHContainerOperations abstract interface provides operations for
creating and unwrapping containers for serialized ASTs (precompiled
headers and clang modules). The default implementation is
RawPCHContainerOperations, which uses a flat file for the output.
The main application for this interface will be an
ObjectFilePCHContainerOperations implementation that uses LLVM to
wrap the module in an ELF/Mach-O/COFF container to store debug info
alongside the AST.

The code building the code completion string for overloads was providing
less detail compared to the one building completion strings for function
declarations. There was no information about optionals and no information
about what's a parameter and what's a function identifier, everything
besides ResultType, CurrentParameter and special characters was classified
as Text.
This makes code completion strings for overload candidates to follow a
pattern very similar, but not identical, to the one in use for function
declarations:

Emacs functions by default use character positions; convert characters
to offsets when handing parameters to clang-format and convert byte
offsets we get from clang-format back to character positions.

Currently, when --serialize-diagnostics is passed this only includes
the diagnostics from clang -cc1, and driver diagnostics are
dropped. This causes issues for tools that use the serialized
diagnostics, since stderr is lost and these diagnostics aren't seen at
all.
We handle this by merging the diagnostics from the CC1 process and the
driver diagnostics into a single file when the driver invokes CC1.

This was not a real header role, and was never exposed to clients of ModuleMap.
Remove the enumeration value for it and track it as marking the header as
'known' rather than creating an extra KnownHeader entry that *every single*
client ignores.

This patch generates some helper variables which used as a private copies of the corresponding original variables inside an OpenMP 'parallel' directive. These generated variables are initialized by default (with the default constructor, if any). In outlined function references to original variables are replaced by the references to these private helper variables. At the end of the initialization of the private variables and implicit barier is set by calling __kmpc_barrier(...) runtime function to be sure that all threads were initialized using original values of the variables.

We currently use a null FailingCommand when generating crash reports
as an indication that the cause is FORCE_CLANG_DIAGNOSTICS_CRASH, the
environment variable that exists to test crash dumps. This means that
our tests don't actually cover real crashes at all, and adds a more
complicated code path that's only used in the tests.
Instead, we can have the driver synthesize that every command failed
and just call generateCompilationDiagnostics normally.

The various ways to create an ASTUnit all take a refcounted pointer to
a diagnostics engine as an argument, and if it isn't pointing at
anything they initialize it. This is a pretty confusing API, and it
really makes more sense for the caller to initialize the thing since
they control the lifetime anyway.
This fixes the one caller that didn't bother initializing the pointer
and asserts that the argument is initialized.

We currently read serialized diagnostics directly in the C API, which
makes it difficult to reuse this logic elsewhere. This extracts the
core of the serialized diagnostic parsing logic into a base class that
can be subclassed using a visitor pattern.

When reading a serialized diagnostic location with no file ID, we were
failing to increment the cursor past the rest of the location. This
would lead to the flags and category always appearing blank in such
diagnostics.
This changes the function to unconditionally increment the cursor and
updates the test to check for the correct output instead of testing
that we were doing this wrong. I've also updated the error check to
check for the correct number of fields.

We build a NestedNameSpecifier that records the CXXRecordDecl in which

This required pushing the Lexer into its wrapper class and generating a
new one in this specific case. Otherwise, the sequence get lexed as a
//-comment. This is hacky, but I don't know a better way (short of
supporting regex literals in the Lexer).
Pushing the Lexer down seems to make all the call sites simpler.

On operating systems like the BSDs, it is typically the case that
/usr/bin/python does not exist. We should therefore use /usr/bin/env

This patch aims at fixing PR17239.
This bug happens because the /link (clang-cl.exe argument) is marked as
"consume all remaining arguments". However, when inside a response file,
/link should only consume all remaining arguments inside the response
file where it is located, not the entire command line after expansion.
The LLVM side of the patch will change the semantics of the
RemainingArgsClass kind to always consume only until the end of the
response file when the option originally came from a response file.
There are only two options in this class: dash dash (--) and /link.

Diving into the memory leaks fixed by r213851 there was one case of a
memory leak of a CompilationDatabase due to not properly taking
ownership of the result of "CompilationDatabase::autoDetectFromSource".
Given that both implementations and callers have been using unique_ptr
to own CompilationDatabase objects - make this explicit in the API to
reduce the risk of further leaks.

Previously it was hard-coded to 1.0, which meant the installer would
not install the plugin over previous versions.
This commit makes us use LLVM's major.minor.patch version from cmake,
or whatever CLANG_FORMAT_VS_VERSION is set to when configuring the build.
It's pretty dirty to update a configuration file in the source directory
from the cmake build like this. However, the plugin build is already
dirty in this regard since it builds in the source dir when visual studio,
and then copies out the resulting vsix.

The rewrite facility's footprint is small so it's not worth going to these
lengths to support disabling at configure time, particularly since key compiler
features now depend on it.
Meanwhile the Objective-C rewriters have been moved under the
ENABLE_CLANG_ARCMT umbrella for now as they're comparatively heavy and still
potentially worth excluding from lightweight builds.
Tests are now passing with any combination of feature flags. The flags
historically haven't been tested by LLVM's build servers so caveat emptor.

The clang -cc1as options are nearly a strict subset of -cc1. Instead of
duplicating the definitions and documentation, let's go ahead and share the
definitions in a similar way the current handling of combined driver and

Assertion failures call abort(), which return an exit code of 3 on
Windows. The 'not' utility has the same check.
Unfortunately, the crash-report.c test requires a shell, so it does not
run for me locally, so I can only test this manually.

This removes a const_cast added in r211884 that occurred due to an
inconsistency in how MemoryBuffers are handled between some parts of
clang and LLVM.
MemoryBuffers are immutable and the general convention in the LLVM
project is to omit const from immutable types as it's simply
redundant/verbose (see llvm::Type, for example). While this change
doesn't remove "const" from /every/ MemoryBuffer, it at least makes this
chain of ownership/usage consistent.

To avoid the use of std::call_once (the obvious way to do this) I've
wrapped everything up into a managed static and done the work in
a constructor. Silly, but it should be effective.
Some out-of-tree libclang users reported this to me, and I've asked them
to put together a test case which exhibits this behavior, but I wanted
to fix things ASAP since the nature of the fix is straight forward.

These cases in particular were incurring an extra strlen() when we already knew
the length. They appear to be leftovers from when the interfaces worked with C
strings that have continued to compile due to the implicit StringRef ctor.

Due to what can only be described as a CRT bug, stdout and amazingly
even stderr are not always flushed upon process termination, especially
when the system is under high threading pressure. I have found two
repros for this:
1) In lib\Support\Threading.cpp, change sys::Mutex to an
std::recursive_mutex and run check-clang. Usually between 30 and 40
tests will fail.
2) Add OutputDebugStrings in code that runs during static initialization
and static shutdown. This will sometimes generate similar failures.
After a substantial amount of troubleshooting and debugging, I found
that I could reproduce this from the command line without running
check-clang. Simply make the mutex change described in #1, then
manually run the following command many times by running it once, then
pressing Up -> Enter very quickly:

Sporadically they will fail, and attaching a debugger to a failed
instance indicates that stdin of FileCheck.exe is empty.
Note that due to the repro in #2, we can rule out a bug in the STL's
mutex implementation, and instead conclude that this is a real flake in
the windows test harness.
Test Plan:
Without patch: Ran check-clang 10 times and saw over 30 Unexpected failures on every run.
With patch: Ran check-clang 10 times and saw 0 unexpected failures across all runs.
