Summary:
Direct calls to dllimport functions are very common Windows. We should
add them to the -O0 fast path.

In the long-term, we want to replace statistics with something
finer-grained that lets us gather per-function data.
Remarks are that replacement.
Create an ORE instance in SelectionDAGISel, and pass it to
SelectionDAG.
SelectionDAG was used so that we can emit remarks from all
SelectionDAG-related code, including TargetLowering and DAGCombiner.
This isn't used in the current patch but Adam tells me he's interested
for the fp-contract combines.
Use the ORE instance to emit FastISel failures as remarks (instead of
the mix of dbgs() dumps and statistics that we currently have).
Eventually, we want to have an API that tells us whether remarks are
enabled (http://llvm.org/PR32352) so that we don't emit expensive
remarks (in this case, dumping IR) when it's not needed. For now, use
'isEnabled' as a crude replacement.
This does mean that the replacement for '-fast-isel-verbose' is now
'-pass-remarks-missed=isel'. Additionally, clang users also need to
enable remark diagnostics, using '-Rpass-missed=isel'.
This also removes '-fast-isel-verbose2': there are no static statistics
that we want to only enable in asserts builds, so we can always use
the remarks regardless of the build type.

Summary:
Replace a LEA instruction of the form 'lea (%esp), %ebx' --> 'mov %esp, %ebx'
MOV is preferable over LEA because usually there are more issue-slots available to execute MOVs than LEAs. Latest processors also support zero-latency MOVs.
Fixes pr29022.

stdcall is callee-pop like thiscall, so the thiscall changes already did most
of the work for this. This change only opts stdcall in and adds tests.

This refactors the logic in X86 to avoid code duplication. It also
splits it in two steps: it first decides if a symbol is local to the DSO
and then uses that information to decide how to access it.
The first part is implemented by shouldAssumeDSOLocal. It is not in any
way specific to X86. In a followup patch I intend to move it to
somewhere common and reused it in other backends.

Essentially the same as the GEP change in r230786.
A similar migration script can be used to update test cases, though a few more
test case improvements/changes were required this time around: (r229269-r229278)
import fileinput
import sys
import re
pat = re.compile(r"((?:=|:|^)\s*load (?:atomic )?(?:volatile )?(.*?))(| addrspace\(\d+\) *)\*($| *(?:%|@|null|undef|blockaddress|getelementptr|addrspacecast|bitcast|inttoptr|\[\[[a-zA-Z]|\{\{).*$)")
for line in sys.stdin:
sys.stdout.write(re.sub(pat, r"\1, \2\3*\4", line))

Previously, fast-isel would not clean up after failing to select a call
instruction, because it would have called flushLocalValueMap() which moves
the insertion point, making SavedInsertPt in selectInstruction() invalid.
Fixing this by making SavedInsertPt a member variable, and having
flushLocalValueMap() update it.
This removes some redundant code at -O0, and more importantly fixes PR20863.

I couldn't see how to do this sanely without splitting RETQ from RETL.
Eric says: "sad about the inability to roundtrip them now, but...".
I have no idea what that means, but perhaps it wants preserving in the
commit comment.

This was done with the following sed invocation to catch label lines demarking function boundaries:
sed -i '' "s/^;\( *\)\([A-Z0-9_]*\):\( *\)test\([A-Za-z0-9_-]*\):\( *\)$/;\1\2-LABEL:\3test\4:\5/g" test/CodeGen/*/*.ll
which was written conservatively to avoid false positives rather than false negatives. I scanned through all the changes and everything looks correct.
llvm-svn: 186258
I really need to find a way to automate this, but I can't come up with a regex
that has no false positives while handling tricky cases like custom check
prefixes.

On x86-32, structure return via sret lets the callee pop the hidden
pointer argument off the stack, which the caller then re-pushes.
However if the calling convention is fastcc, then a register is used
instead, and the caller should not adjust the stack. This is
implemented with a check of IsTailCallConvention
X86TargetLowering::LowerCall but is now checked properly in
X86FastISel::DoSelectCall.
(this time, actually commit what was reviewed!)

Adds an instruction itinerary to all x86 instructions, giving each a default latency of 1, using the InstrItinClass IIC_DEFAULT.
Sets specific latencies for Atom for the instructions in files X86InstrCMovSetCC.td, X86InstrArithmetic.td, X86InstrControl.td, and X86InstrShiftRotate.td. The Atom latencies for the remainder of the x86 instructions will be set in subsequent patches.
Adds a test to verify that the scheduler is working.
Also changes the scheduling preference to "Hybrid" for i386 Atom, while leaving x86_64 as ILP.

- Check getBytesToPopOnReturn().
- Eschew ST0 and ST1 for return values.
- Fix the PIC base register initialization so that it doesn't ever
fail to end up the top of the entry block.
