David Blaikie aee4925507 Recommit: Compress formatting of array type names (int [4] -> int[4])
Based on post-commit review discussion on
2bd8493847 with Richard Smith.

Other uses of forcing HasEmptyPlaceHolder to false seem OK to me -
they're all around pointer/reference types where the pointer/reference
token will appear at the rightmost side of the left side of the type
name, so they make nested types (eg: the "int" in "int *") behave as
though there is a non-empty placeholder (because the "*" is essentially
the placeholder as far as the "int" is concerned).

This was originally committed in 277623f4d5

Reverted in f9ad1d1c77 due to breakages
outside of clang - lldb seems to have some strange/strong dependence on
"char [N]" versus "char[N]" when printing strings (not due to that name
appearing in DWARF, but probably due to using clang to stringify type
names) that'll need to be addressed, plus a few other odds and ends in
other subprojects (clang-tools-extra, compiler-rt, etc).

David Blaikie f9ad1d1c77 Revert "Compress formatting of array type names (int [4] -> int[4])"
Looks like lldb has some issues with this - somehow it causes lldb to
treat a "char[N]" type as an array of chars (prints them out
individually) but a "char [N]" is printed as a string. (even though the
DWARF doesn't have this string in it - it's something to do with the
string lldb generates for itself using clang)

This reverts commit 277623f4d5.

Jennifer Yu 656d022331 Stop emit incomplete type error for a variable in a map clause
where should not.

Currently we are using QTy->isIncompleteType(&ND) to check incomplete
type. But before doing that, need to instantiate for a class template
specialization or a class member of a class template specialization,
or an array with known size of such..., so that we know it is really
incomplete type.

To fix this using RequireCompleteType instead.

The new test is added into "test/OpenMP/target_update_messages.cpp"

The different of using RequireCompleteType is when emit incomplete type,
an additional note is also emitted to point to where incomplete type
is declared. Because this change, many tests are needed to be fixed
by adding additional note.

This is to fix https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50508

Mike Rice f90abac6ca [OpenMP] Use compound operators for reduction combiner if available.
The OpenMP spec seems to require the compound operators be used for
+, *, &, |, and ^ reduction. So use these if a class has those operators.
If not try the simple operators as we did previously to limit the impact
to existing code.

Jonas Hahnfeld 071dca24ce [OpenMP] Require trivially copyable type for mapping
A trivially copyable type provides a trivial copy constructor and a trivial
copy assignment operator. This is enough for the runtime to memcpy the data
to the device. Additionally there must be no virtual functions or virtual
base classes and the destructor is guaranteed to be trivial, ie performs
no action.
The runtime does not require trivial default constructors because on alloc
the memory is undefined. Thus, weaken the warning to be only issued if the
mapped type is not trivially copyable.

Alexey Bataev 8a8c69808c [OPENMP]Add support for analysis of reduction variables.
Summary:
Reduction variables are the variables, for which the private copies
must be created in the OpenMP regions. Then they are initialized with
the predefined values depending on the reduction operation. After exit
from the OpenMP region the original variable is updated using the
reduction value and the value of the original reduction variable.

Joel E. Denny d2649292ef [OpenMP] Refactor const restriction for reductions
As discussed in D56113, this patch refactors the implementation of the
const restriction for reductions to reuse a function introduced by
D56113. A side effect is that diagnostics sometimes now say
"variable" instead of "list item" when a list item is a variable.
