Bill Wendling 092a7bdf9f The tLDR et al instructions were emitting either a reg/reg or reg/imm
instruction based on the t_addrmode_s# mode and what it returned. There is some
obvious badness to this. In particular, it's hard to do MC-encoding when the
instruction may change out from underneath you after the t_addrmode_s# variable
is finally resolved.

The solution is to revert a long-ago change that merged the reg/reg and reg/imm
versions. There is the addition of several new addressing modes. They no longer
have extraneous operands associated with them. I.e., if it's reg/reg we don't
have to have a dummy zero immediate tacked on to the SDNode.

There are some obvious cleanups here, which will happen shortly.

Greg Clayton 8b2fe6dcbd Modified LLDB expressions to not have to JIT and run code just to see variable
values or persistent expression variables. Now if an expression consists of
a value that is a child of a variable, or of a persistent variable only, we
will create a value object for it and make a ValueObjectConstResult from it to
freeze the value (for program variables only, not persistent variables) and
avoid running JITed code. For everything else we still parse up and JIT code
and run it in the inferior.

There was also a lot of clean up in the expression code. I made the
ClangExpressionVariables be stored in collections of shared pointers instead
of in collections of objects. This will help stop a lot of copy constructors on
these large objects and also cleans up the code considerably. The persistent
clang expression variables were moved over to the Target to ensure they persist
across process executions.

Added the ability for lldb_private::Target objects to evaluate expressions.
We want to evaluate expressions at the target level in case we aren't running
yet, or we have just completed running. We still want to be able to access the
persistent expression variables between runs, and also evaluate constant
expressions.

Added extra logging to the dynamic loader plug-in for MacOSX. ModuleList objects
can now dump their contents with the UUID, arch and full paths being logged with
appropriate prefix values.

Thread hardened the Communication class a bit by making the connection auto_ptr
member into a shared pointer member and then making a local copy of the shared
pointer in each method that uses it to make sure another thread can't nuke the
connection object while it is being used by another thread.

Added a new file to the lldb/test/load_unload test that causes the test a.out file
to link to the libd.dylib file all the time. This will allow us to test using
the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable after moving libd.dylib somewhere else.

Bob Wilson 651eaa02b8 Remove the rest of the *_sfp Neon instruction patterns.
Use the same COPY_TO_REGCLASS approach as for the 2-register *_sfp instructions.
This change made a big difference in the code generated for the
CodeGen/Thumb2/cross-rc-coalescing-2.ll test: The coalescer is still doing
a fine job, but some instructions that were previously moved outside the loop
are not moved now. It's using fewer VFP registers now, which is generally
a good thing, so I think the estimates for register pressure changed and that
affected the LICM behavior. Since that isn't obviously wrong, I've just
changed the test file. This completes the work for Radar 8711675.

Douglas Gregor 506bd56484 Variadic templates: extend Type, NestedNameSpecifier, TemplateName,
and TemplateArgument with an operation that determines whether there
are any unexpanded parameter packs within that construct. Use this
information to diagnose the appearance of the names of parameter packs
that have not been expanded (C++ [temp.variadic]p5). Since this
property is checked often (every declaration, ever expression
statement, etc.), we extend Type and Expr with a bit storing the
result of this computation, rather than walking the AST each time to
determine whether any unexpanded parameter packs occur.

This commit is deficient in several ways, which will be remedied with
future commits:
  - Expr has a bit to store the presence of an unexpanded parameter
pack, but it is never set.
  - The error messages don't point out where the unexpanded parameter
packs were named in the type/expression, but they should.
  - We don't check for unexpanded parameter packs in all of the places
  where we should.
  - Testing is sparse, pending the resolution of the above three
  issues.

Sean Callanan 1782783095 Added support for generating expressions that have
access to the members of the Objective-C self object.

The approach we take is to generate the method as a
@category on top of the self object, and to pass the
"self" pointer to it. (_cmd is currently NULL.)

Most changes are in ClangExpressionDeclMap, but the
change that adds support to the ABIs to pass _cmd
touches a fair amount of code.

Owen Anderson 578074b2f3 In Thumb2, direct branches can be encoded as either a "short" conditional branch with a null predicate, or
as a "long" direct branch. While the mnemonics are the same, they encode the branch offset differently, and
the Darwin assembler appears to prefer the "long" form for direct branches. Thus, in the name of bitwise
equivalence, provide encoding and fixup support for it.

Greg Clayton c30abdfa7d Fixed a crasher where when a ProcessGDBRemote class was being destroyed, it would eventually destroy the dynamic loader (when the lldb_private::Process::m_dynamic_loader_ap destroys itself in the object member destructor chain). The dynamic loader was calling a pure virtual method in Process which was causing a crash. The quick fix is to reset the auto pointer in the ProcessGDBRemote destructor when ProcessGDBRemote is still a valid object with all its pure virtual functions intact.

Chandler Carruth 7a6d2e9ca1 Fix PR8774 by restricting when hasInit returns true. Previously, it
would return true if the initializer pointer union had *any* non-null
pointer in it, even if the pointer wasn't one that would actually be
returned via getInit(). This makes it more accurately model the logic of
'getInit() != NULL'.

This still isn't completely satisfying. From a principled stance,
I suspect we should make hasInit() and getInit() *always* return false
and NULL (resp.) for ParmVarDecl. We shouldn't at the API level treat
initializers and default arguments as the same thing.

Chris Lattner f8d180b808 remove the verbose-asm "constant pool double" comments that we were printing
for each constant pool entry. Using WriteTypeSymbolic here takes time
proportional to the size of the module, for each constant pool entry.

This speeds up -verbose-asm llc on 252.eon (a random testcase at my disposal)
from 4.4s to 2.137s. llc takes 2.11s with asm-verbose off, so this is now a
pretty reasonable cost for verbose comments.
