About the book

a-Shell is not only a terminal emulator for iOS/iPadOS, but also an environment with a set of useful libraries, where you can run basic Unix commands and other tricky tools.

This document is a tutorial for newcomers to know how to do various things on this app, from editing text files to compiling big projects.

The tutorial is still in progress. Anyone willing to is encouraged to contribute to this document. See contribute-to-the-book.md for details.

If you know little about a-Shell, you can start by reading README (1).md.

As a new-born document I chose to expose all unstable parts to the readers since they have been under development rather than release them after strict tests so that you can see newest changes at all times.
