Survex is a Free and Open Source software package to assist surveying and mapping cave systems. By default this slackbuild installs a sample dataset into the installation directory tree. If you do not need this passe to the script the environment variable SAMPLE=no as following: SAMPLE=no ./survex.SlackBuild Note: the Graphical Interface User is launched by the command aven or the Desktop entry "Aven Cave Surveying Tool".
