Robby Workman 8974b2a68b libraries/wv: Updated for version 1.2.7. 
This probably won't be an issue yet, but if you happen to
    already have abiword installed, it's going to need a
    rebuild due to an ABI change in the wv library.  You'll
    also have to uninstall your existing abiword package in
    order to successfully build the new one.

wv (MS Word document import library)

wv converts Word 2,6,7,8,9 files to html and latex. The Word 2 conversion is 
still incomplete (no formatting), but it will do a passable job extracting 
the text, which is what you probably want anyway.
