Our "little endian" UUID really is a Wintel GUID, so rename it and its helpers such (guid_t). The big endian UUID is the only true one, so give it the name uuid_t. The uuid_le and uuid_be names are retained for now, but will hopefully go away soon. The exception to that are the _cmp helpers that will be replaced by better primitives ASAP and thus don't get the new names. Also the _to_bin helpers are named to match the better named uuid_parse routine in userspace. Also remove the existing typedef in XFS that's now been superceeded by the generic type name. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
