There are three tracepoints using this template, which are mm_vmscan_direct_reclaim_begin, mm_vmscan_memcg_reclaim_begin, mm_vmscan_memcg_softlimit_reclaim_begin. Regarding mm_vmscan_direct_reclaim_begin, sc.may_writepage is !laptop_mode, that's a static setting, and reclaim_idx is derived from gfp_mask which is already show in this tracepoint. Regarding mm_vmscan_memcg_reclaim_begin, may_writepage is !laptop_mode too, and reclaim_idx is (MAX_NR_ZONES-1), which are both static value. mm_vmscan_memcg_softlimit_reclaim_begin is the same with mm_vmscan_memcg_reclaim_begin. So we can drop them all. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
