Masahiro Yamada 00ca025012 MIPS: BCM63xx: Let clk_disable() return immediately if clk is NULL
In many of clk_disable() implementations, it is a no-op for a NULL
pointer input, but this is one of the exceptions.

Making it treewide consistent will allow clock consumers to call
clk_disable() without NULL pointer check.

Ralf Baechle b0a119fd99 Revert "MIPS: bcm63xx: nvram: Remove unused bcm63xx_nvram_get_psi_size() function"
This reverts commit 5bdb102b3f.

Brian Norris <computersforpeace@gmail.com> is reporting:

Ralf,

Please revert this and send it to Linus (or else, I can send it myself).
This is causing build failures, because I didn't take the rest of
Simon's series yet.

Jonas Gorski 44d8fb3094 spi/bcm63xx: move register definitions into the driver
Move all register definitions and structs into the driver. This allows
us dropping the platform_data struct and drop any arch specific
includes. Make use of different device names to identify the version of
the block we have.

Since we now have full control over the message width, we can drop the
size check, which was broken anyway, since it never set ret to any error
code.

Also since we now have no arch depedendent resources, we can now allow
compiling it for any arch, hidden behind COMPILE_TEST.

Linus Torvalds 6496edfce9 This is the final removal (after several years!) of the obsolete cpus_*

With these function removed, all cpu functions should only iterate to
nr_cpu_ids, so we finally only allocate that many bits when cpumasks
 are allocated offstack.

Nicolas Schichan 2ec459f2a7 MIPS: BCM63xx: Move bcm63xx_gpio_init() to bcm63xx_register_devices().
When called from prom init code, bcm63xx_gpio_init() will fail as it
will call gpiochip_add() which relies on a working kmalloc() to alloc
the gpio_desc array and kmalloc is not useable yet at prom init time.

Move bcm63xx_gpio_init() to bcm63xx_register_devices() (an
arch_initcall) where kmalloc works.

Jonas Gorski 86ee4333ba MIPS: BCM63xx: Replace irq dispatch code with a generic version
The generic version uses a variable length of u32 registers instead of u32/u64.
This allows easier support for "wider" registers without having to rewrite
everything.

This "generic" version is as fast as the old version in the best case
(i == next set bit), and twice as fast in the worst case in 64 bits.

Using a macro was chosen over a (forced) inline version because gcc generated
more compact code with the macro.

The change from (signed) int to unsigned int for i and to_call was intentional
as the value can be only between 0 and (width - 1) anyway, and allowed gcc to
optimise the code a bit further.

Paul Gortmaker 3b2663ca84 mips: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>
None of these files are actually using any __init type directives
and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a
left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to
code getting copied from one driver to the next.

Markos Chandras 17d97bad1a MIPS: bcm63xx: cpu: Replace BUG() with panic()
BUG() can be a noop if CONFIG_BUG is not selected,
leading to the following build problem on a randconfig:

arch/mips/bcm63xx/cpu.c: In function 'detect_cpu_clock':
arch/mips/bcm63xx/cpu.c:254:1: error: control reaches end of
non-void function [-Werror=return-type]

We fix this problem by replacing BUG() with panic() since it's
best to handle the case of an unknown board instead of silently
returning a random clock frequency.

Allow building for all bmips cpus at the same time by changing ifdefs
to checks for the cpu type, or adding appropriate checks to the
assembly.

Since BMIPS43XX and BMIPS5000 require different IPI implementations,
split the SMP ops into one for each, so the runtime overhead is only
at registration time for them.

   - All the things that didn't make 3.10.
   - Removes the Windriver PPMC platform. Nobody will miss it.
   - Remove a workaround from kernel/irq/irqdomain.c which was there
exclusivly for MIPS. Patch by Grant Likely.
   - More small improvments for the SEAD 3 platform
   - Improvments on the BMIPS / SMP support for the BCM63xx series.
   - Various cleanups of dead leftovers.
   - Platform support for the Cavium Octeon-based EdgeRouter Lite.

Markos Chandras 7aa2d05299 MIPS: BCM63xx: CLK: Add dummy clk_{set,round}_rate() functions
Several drivers use the clk_{set,round}_rate() functions
that need to be defined in the platform's clock code.
The Broadcom BCM63xx platform hardcodes the clock rate so
we create new clk_{set,round}_rate() functions
which just return 0 like those in include/linux/clk.h
for the common clock framework do.

Also fixes the following build problem on a randconfig:
drivers/built-in.o: In function `nop_usb_xceiv_probe':
phy-nop.c:(.text+0x3ec26c): undefined reference to `clk_set_rate'
