Paul Gortmaker 50af5ead3b bug.h: add include of it to various implicit C users
With bug.h currently living right in linux/kernel.h there
are files that use BUG_ON and friends but are not including
the header explicitly. Fix them up so we can remove the
presence in kernel.h file.

Paul Gortmaker 4b16f8e2d6 powerpc: various straight conversions from module.h --> export.h
All these files were including module.h just for the basic
EXPORT_SYMBOL infrastructure. We can shift them off to the
export.h header which is a way smaller footprint and thus
realize some compile time gains.

Thomas Gleixner 071c06cb57 powerpc: Convert pmc_owner_lock to raw_spinlock
pmc_owner_lock needs to be a real spinlock in RT. Convert it to
raw_spinlock.

Andy Fleming 39aef685af [POWERPC] Made FSL Book-E PMC support more generic
Some of the more recent e300 cores have the same performance monitor
implementation as the e500.  e300 isn't book-e, so the name isn't
really appropriate. In preparation for e300 support, rename a bunch
of fsl_booke things to say fsl_emb (Freescale Embedded Performance Monitors).

Anton Blanchard 177e9ea49d [POWERPC] Fix typo: MMCR0_PMA0 != MMCR0_PMAO
pmc.c has:

#ifndef MMCR0_PMA0
#define MMCR0_PMA0     0

This one took a while to find. Unfortunately its the wrong define
(number 0 vs letter O). Its probably worth removing this override, since
if our includes get screwed up we will have the same (hard to debug)
failure.

Fix it simply for now, so that we can backport to stable.

Olof Johansson 6529c13dfe [POWERPC] PA6T PMC support
Support for PA6T-style PMC registers.

PMCs are completely implementation-dependent on PPC, and PA6T numbers them
differently from the IBM model.

Olof Johansson 1bd2e5ae18 [POWERPC] Add PMC type to cputable
Add cputable entries for which type of PMC implementation the processor
has.

I've only filled in the current 64-bit processors, the unfilled default
value will have same behaviour as before so it can be done over time
as needed.

Also tidy up the dummy_perf implementation a bit, aggregating it into
one function with ifdefs instead of several.

Andy Fleming dd6c89f686 [POWERPC] Fix oprofile support for e500 in arch/powerpc
Fixed a compile error in building the 85xx support with oprofile, and in
the process cleaned up some issues with the fsl_booke performance monitor
code.

* Reorganized FSL Book-E performance monitoring code so that the 7450
  wouldn't be built if the e500 was, and cleaned it up so it was more
  self-contained.

* Added a cpu_setup function for FSL Book-E. The original
  cpu_setup function prototype had no arguments, assuming that
  the reg_setup function would copy the required information into
  variables which represented the registers. This was silly for
  e500, since it has 1 register per counter (rather than 3 for
  all counters), so the code has been restructured to have
  cpu_setup take the current counter config array as an argument,
  with op_powerpc_setup() invoking op_powerpc_cpu_setup() through
  on_each_cpu(), and op_powerpc_cpu_setup() invoking the
  model-specific cpu_setup function with an argument. The
  argument is ignored on all other platforms at present.

* Fixed a confusing line where a trinary operator only had two
  arguments

Andy Fleming 555d97ac87 [PATCH] powerpc: G4+ oprofile support
This patch adds oprofile support for the 7450 and all its multitudinous
derivatives.

* Added 7450 (and derivatives) support for oprofile
* Changed e500 cputable to have oprofile model and cpu_type fields
* Added support for classic 32-bit performance monitor interrupt
* Cleaned up common powerpc oprofile code to be as common as possible
* Cleaned up oprofile_impl.h to reflect 32 bit classic code
* Added 32-bit MMCRx bitfield definitions and SPR numbers

David Gibson f7f6f4fea6 [PATCH] powerpc: Merge ppc64 pmc.[ch] with ppc32 perfmon.[ch]
This patches the ppc32 and ppc64 versions of the headers and .c files
with helper functions for manipulating the performance counting
hardware. As a side effect, it removes use of the term "perfmon" from
ppc32, thus avoiding confusion with the unrelated performance counter
interface from HP Labs also called "perfmon".

Built, but not booted, for g5, pSeries, iSeries, and 32-bit Powermac
with both ARCH=powerpc and ARCH=ppc{,64} as appropriate.
