Masahiro Yamada 87dfb311b7 treewide: replace #include <asm/sizes.h> with #include <linux/sizes.h>
Since commit dccd2304cc ("ARM: 7430/1: sizes.h: move from asm-generic
to <linux/sizes.h>"), <asm/sizes.h> and <asm-generic/sizes.h> are just
wrappers of <linux/sizes.h>.

This commit replaces all <asm/sizes.h> and <asm-generic/sizes.h> to
prepare for the removal.

Linus Torvalds aebbfafc74 ARM: SoC platform updates for 5.1
The APM X-Gene platform is now maintained by folks from Ampere
computing that took over the product line a while ago, this gets
 reflected in the MAINTAINERS file.

Cleanups continue on the older mach-davinci and mach-pxa platform,
to get them to be more like the modern ones. For pxa, we
now remove the Raumfeld platform code as it now works with
 device tree based booting.

i.MX adds a couple new features for the i.MX7ULP SoC

Mediatek gains support for a new SoC: MT7629 is a new wireless
 router platform, following MT7623.

Aside from those, there are the usual minor cleanups and bugfixes
 across several platforms.

regulator: fixed/gpio: Pull inversion/OD into gpiolib
This pushes the handling of inversion semantics and open drain
settings to the GPIO descriptor and gpiolib. All affected board
files are also augmented.

This is especially nice since we don't have to have any
confusing flags passed around to the left and right littering
the fixed and GPIO regulator drivers and the regulator core.
It is all just very straight-forward: the core asks the GPIO
line to be asserted or deasserted and gpiolib deals with the
rest depending on how the platform is configured: if the line
is active low, it deals with that, if the line is open drain,
it deals with that too.

regulator: gpio: Convert to use descriptors
This converts the GPIO regulator driver to use decriptors only.

We have to let go of the array gpio handling: the fetched descriptors
are handled individually anyway, and the array retrieveal function
does not make it possible to retrieve each GPIO descriptor with
unique flags. Instead get them one by one.

We request the "enable" GPIO separately as before, and make sure
that this line is requested as nonexclusive since enable lines can
be shared and the regulator core expects this.

Most users of the GPIO regulator are using device tree.

There are two boards in the kernel using the gpio regulator from a
non-devicetree path: PXA hx4700 and magician. Make sure to switch
these over to use descriptors as well.

Vladimir Zapolskiy d62998480b ARM: pxa: remove unused empty mach/pxa25x-udc.h file
Commit c5418a0b98 ("usb: gadget: pxa25x_udc: move register definitions

Linus Torvalds 195303136f Kconfig file consolidation for v4.21
Consolidation of bus (PCI, PCMCIA, EISA, RapidIO) config entries
 by Christoph Hellwig.

Currently, every architecture that wants to provide common peripheral
busses needs to add some boilerplate code and include the right Kconfig
files. This series instead just selects the presence (when needed) and
then handles everything in the bus-specific Kconfig file under drivers/.

This adds GPIO descriptor look-up tables for a whole bunch

In some cases the platforms were compulsively including the

Some boards just auto-enumerate their fixed regulator platform devices
and I have assumed they get names like "fixed-regulator.0" but it's
pretty hard to guess this. I need some testing from board maintainers to
be sure. Other boards are straight forward, using just plain
"fixed-regulator" (ID -1) or "fixed-regulator.1" hammering down the
device ID.

It seems the da9055 and da9211 has never got around to actually passing
any enable gpio into its platform data (not the in-tree code anyway) so we
can just decide to simply pass a descriptor instead.

The fixed GPIO-controlled regulator in mach-pxa/ezx.c was confusingly named
"*_dummy_supply_device" while it is a very real device backed by a GPIO
line. There is nothing dummy about it at all, so I renamed it with the
infix *_regulator_* as part of this patch set.

PXA3xx platforms have 56 interrupts that are stored in two ICMR
registers. The code in pxa_irq_suspend() and pxa_irq_resume() however
does a simple division by 32 which only leads to one register being
saved at suspend and restored at resume time. The NAND interrupt
setting, for instance, is lost.

Fix this by using DIV_ROUND_UP() instead.

Linus Torvalds 7c00e8ae04 ARM: SoC platform updates
Here are the main updates for SoC support (besides DT additions) for ARM
32- and 64-bit platforms. The branch also contains defconfig updates to
turn on drivers and options as needed on the various platforms.

The largest parts of the delta are from cleanups moving platform data
and board file setup of TI platforms to ti-sysc bus drivers. There are
also some sweeping changes of eeprom and nand setup on Davinci, i.MX
 and other platforms.

Samsung is removing support for Exynos5440, which was an oddball SoC
that hasn't been seen much use in designs.

Renesas is adding support for new SoCs (R-Car E3, RZ/G1C and RZ/N1D).

Linus Walleij is also removing support for ux500 (Sony Ericsson)
U8540/9540 SoCs that never made it to significant mass production and
 products.

Linus Walleij f59c303b59 ARM: Fix i2c-gpio GPIO descriptor tables
I used bad names in my clumsiness when rewriting many board
files to use GPIO descriptors instead of platform data. A few
had the platform_device ID set to -1 which would indeed give
the device name "i2c-gpio".

But several had it set to >=0 which gives the names
"i2c-gpio.0", "i2c-gpio.1" ...

Fix the offending instances in the ARM tree. Sorry for the
mess.

We want to work towards phasing out the at24_platform_data structure.
There are few users and its contents can be represented using generic

Remove the at24_platform_data structure and replace it with an array
of property entries. Drop the byte_len/size property, as the model name
already implies the EEPROM's size.

Linus Torvalds 167569343f ARM: SoC platform updates for 4.17
This release brings up a new platform based on the old ARM9 core: the
Nuvoton NPCM is used as a baseboard management controller, competing
with the better known ASpeed AST2xx series.

Another important change is the addition of ARMv7-A based chips
in mach-stm32. The older parts in this platform are ARMv7-M based
microcontrollers, now they are expanding to general-purpose workloads.

The other changes are the usual defconfig updates to enable additional
drivers, lesser bugfixes. The largest updates as often are the ongoing
OMAP cleanups, but we also have a number of changes for the older
PXA and davinci platforms this time.

For the Renesas shmobile/r-car platform, some new infrastructure
is needed to make the watchdog work correctly.

Supporting Multiprocessing on Allwinner A80 required a significant
amount of new code, but is not doing anything unexpected.
