kbuild: introduce ccflags-y, asflags-y and ldflags-y
Moreover, these flags (at least EXTRA_CFLAGS) have been documented for command
line use. By default, gmake(1) do not override command line setting, so this is
likely to result in build failure or unexpected behavior.
Replace their usage by Kbuild's `{as,cc,ld}flags-y'.

Many users said that the default gain value (128) was giving white images.
The value which was in the original qc-usb driver (50) is better.

usb_altnum_to_altsetting() may return NULL. If it does we'll dereference a
NULL pointer in
drivers/media/video/gspca/stv06xx/stv06xx_pb0100.c::pb0100_start().
As far as I can tell there's not really anything more sensible than
-ENODEV that we can return in that situation, but I'm not at all intimate
with this code so I'd like a bit of review/comments on this before it's
applied.
Anyway, here's a proposed patch.

stv06xx devices have only one altsetting, but the actual used
bandwidth can be programmed through a register. We were already
setting this register lower then the max packetsize of the altsetting
indicates. This patch makes the gspca-stv06xx update the usb descriptor
for the alt setting to reflect the actual packetsize in use, so that
the usb subsystem uses the correct information for scheduling usb transfers.
This patch also tries to fallback to lower speeds in case a ENOSPC error
is received when submitting urbs, but currently this is only supported
with stv06xx cams with the pb0100 sensor, as this is the only one for
which we know how to change the framerate.

The errors were found by checkpatch.pl. Most fixes are:
- remove spaces followed by TAB(s),
- split lines greater than 80 characters,
- move most '{'s from start of line to end of previous line.
(Some '{'s at start of line remain when the '}'s are on the same line)

The 046d:08da usb id shouldn't be associated with the stv06xx driver as they're
not compatible with each other.
This fixes a bug where Quickcam Messenger cams fail to use its proper driver
(gspca-zc3xx), rendering the camera inoperable.

The Quickcam Web camera would not produce an image if you removed and inserted the module multiple times without physically power cycling the camera first.
By writing zero to bridge register STV_SCAN_RATE (0x1443) the camera works as intended, regardless of the number of module insertions.

When we call gspca_frame_add, it returns a pointer to the frame passed in,
unless we call it with LAST_PACKET, when it will return a pointer to a
new frame in which to store the frame data for the next frame.
The frame pointer was not updated in stv06xx and ov518.

Due to rounding and clipping, exposure and gain settings do not map to
unique register values. Rather than read the registers and report gain
and exposure that may be different than the values that were set, just
cache the latest values that were set and report them. Reduce exposure
range from 0-65535 to 0-255 so libv4l's autogain doesn't take forever.
Remove vestiges of driver signal processing that is now handled by
libv4l.

All hdcs registers use bit 0 as a read/write flag and needs to be shifted one bit to the left. This wasn't accounted for when doing a sequence of writes.
