Rafał Miłecki aeee3f5a4d MIPS: BCM47XX: Use "timer" trigger for status LEDs
Some devices have power LED as well as status LED. The second one is
used to show the firmware is up and running. Set "timer" trigger for
such LEDs.

Rafał Miłecki 68e30f3087 MIPS: BCM47XX: Drop WGT634U hacks
This old wgt634u.c was trying to implement a bit ugly support for
Netgear WGT634U. It provided info about LED, flash mapping & layout and
was trying to handle reset button.

This is not needed anymore as we have replacement for all this stuff.

Rafał Miłecki ef1e3e7a19 MIPS: BCM47XX: Prepare support for GPIO buttons
So far this adds support for one Netgear model only, but it's designed
and ready to add many more device. We could hopefully import database
from OpenWrt.
Support for SSB is currently disabled, because SSB doesn't implement IRQ

Rafał Miłecki 515fa75d48 MIPS: BCM47XX: Prepare support for LEDs
So far this is mostly just a proof of concept, database consists of a
single device. Creating a nice iterateable array wasn't an option
because devices have different amount of LEDs. And we don't want to
waste memory just because of support for a device with dozens on LEDs.

Hauke Mehrtens 76b573e460 MIPS: BCM47XX: do not use cpu_wait instruction on BCM4706
The BCM4706 has a problem with the CPU wait instruction. When r4k_wait
or r4k_wait_irqoff is used will just hang and not return from a
msleep(). Removing the cpu_wait functionality is a workaround for this
problem. The BCM4716 does not have this problem.

The BCM4706 SoC uses a MIPS 74K V4.9 CPU.

Hauke Mehrtens b04138b335 b44: use fixed PHY device if we do not find any
The ADM6996L switch and some Broadcom switches with two MII interfaces
like the BCM5325F connected to two MACs on the SoC, used on some

and Linux thinks there is no PHY at all, but that is wrong.
This patch registers a fixed phy in the arch code and then searches it

Hauke Mehrtens b8ebbaff03 MIPS: BCM47xx: sprom: read values without prefix as fallback
There are bcma based devices like the Linksys E2000 out there, which do
have one ieee80211 core, but no PCIe core and they are using no
prefixes for the sprom. In addition some values like boardtype are
stored without a prefix for the main SoC chip also when they have an
additional PCIe wifi chip with an own boardtype var on some devices.

The Ethernet addresses are now also read out correctly without a prefix
so calling bcm47xx_fill_sprom_ethernet is not needed any more.

The memory size is detected by finding a place where it repeats in

This should fix a problem we saw in OpenWrt, where the detected

The BCM47xx architecture maps the ram into a 128MB address space. It
will be spaced there as often as goes into the 128MB. Detection tries to
find the position where the same memory is found. When reading beyond
128MB the processor will throw an exception. If 128MB RAM is installed,
it will not find a memory alias because it tries to read beyond the 128MB
border. Now it just assumes 128MB installed ram if it can not find an
alias.

The router uses a CFE bootloader, but most of the needed environment
variables for network card initialization, are not available from CFE
via printenv and even though not via cfe_getenv().
The required environment variables are saved in a special partition
in flash memory. The attached patch implement nvram_getenv and enables
bootup via NFS root on my router.

Most of the patch is extracted from the OpenWrt subversion repository and
stripped down and cleaned up to just fix this issue.

Aurelien Jarno 1c0c13eb93 [MIPS] Add support for BCM47XX CPUs.
Note that the BCM4710 does not support the wait instruction, this
is not a mistake in the code.

It originally comes from the OpenWrt patches.
