We had a boot regression in Ux500 in the merge window because
two orthogonal pin control schemes for the PL011 were merged
at the same time:
- One using the .init() and .exit() hooks into the platform
for Ux500 putting the pins into default vs sleep state
respectively as the port was started/stopped.
commit a09806607f
"ARM: ux500: switch to using pinctrl for uart0"
- One hogging the default setting at PL011 probe()
commit 258e055111
"serial: amba-pl011: adopt pinctrl support"
To get a solution that works for both let's scrap the stuff
in the platform callbacks, instead have the driver itself
select default and sleep states when the port is
started/stopped. Hopefully this works for all clients.
Platform callbacks are bad for device tree migration anyway,
so this rids us of another problem in Ux500.

Both of these are attributed to the internal representation of
the nmiaction struct created during register_nmi_handler. The
reason for this is that those structs are not defined in the
init section whereas the rest of the code in nmi_selftest.c is.
To resolve this, I created a new #define,
register_nmi_handler_initonly, that tags the struct as
__initdata to resolve the mismatch. This #define should only be
used in rare situations where the register/unregister is called
during init of the kernel.

This fixes a problem which can causes kernel oopses while loading
a kernel module.
According to the PowerPC EABI specification, GPR r11 is assigned
the dedicated function to point to the previous stack frame.
In the powerpc-specific kernel module loader, do_plt_call()
(in arch/powerpc/kernel/module_32.c), GPR r11 is also used
to generate trampoline code.
This combination crashes the kernel, in the case where the compiler
chooses to use a helper function for saving GPRs on entry, and the
module loader has placed the .init.text section far away from the
.text section, meaning that it has to generate a trampoline for
functions in the .init.text section to call the GPR save helper.
Because the trampoline trashes r11, references to the stack frame
using r11 can cause an oops.
The fix just uses GPR r12 instead of GPR r11 for generating the
trampoline code. According to the statements from Freescale, this is
safe from an EABI perspective.
I've tested the fix for kernel 2.6.33 on MPC8541.

The SGI Altix UV2 BAU (Broadcast Assist Unit) as used for
tlb-shootdown (selective broadcast mode) always uses UV2
broadcast descriptor format. There is no need to clear the
'legacy' (UV1) mode, because the hardware always uses UV2 mode
for selective broadcast.
But the BIOS uses general broadcast and legacy mode, and the
hardware pays attention to the legacy mode bit for general
broadcast. So the kernel must not clear that mode bit.

This reverts 68568add2c ("powerpc/time: Remove unnecessary sanity check
of decrementer expiration"). We do need to check whether we have reached
the expiration time of the next event, because we sometimes get an early
decrementer interrupt, most notably when we set the decrementer to 1 in
arch_irq_work_raise(). The effect of not having the sanity check is that
if timer_interrupt() gets called early, we leave the decrementer set to
its maximum value, which means we then don't get any more decrementer
interrupts for about 4 seconds (or longer, depending on timebase
frequency). I saw these pauses as a consequence of getting a stray
hypervisor decrementer interrupt left over from exiting a KVM guest.
This isn't quite a straight revert because of changes to the surrounding
code, but it restores the same algorithm as was previously used.

Some UEFI firmware will not load a .efi with a .reloc section
with a size of 0.
Therefore, we create a .efi image with 4 main areas and 3 sections.
1. PE/COFF file header
2. .setup section (covers all setup code following the first sector)
3. .reloc section (contains 1 dummy reloc entry, created in build.c)
4. .text section (covers the remaining kernel image)
To make room for the new .setup section data, the header
bugger_off_msg had to be shortened.

There is a system hang issue on imx6q which can easily be seen with
running a cpu hotplug stress testing (hotplug secondary cores from
user space via sysfs interface for thousands iterations).
It turns out that the issue is caused by coherency of the cpu that
is being shut down. When shutting down a cpu, we need to have the
cpu exit coherency to prevent it from receiving cache, TLB, or BTB
maintenance operations broadcast by other CPUs in the cluster.
Copy cpu_enter_lowpower() and cpu_leave_lowpower() from mach-vexpress
to have coherency properly handled in platform_cpu_die(), thus fix
the issue.

Without this patch, applications with two different stack
regions (eg: native stack vs JIT stack) get truncated
callchains even when RBP chaining is present. GDB shows proper
stack traces and the frame pointer chaining is intact.
This patch disables the (fp < RSP) check, hoping that other checks
in the code save the day for us. In our limited testing, this
didn't seem to break anything.
In the long term, we could potentially have userspace advise
the kernel on the range of valid stack addresses, so we don't
spend a lot of time unwinding from bogus addresses.

In current Linux, percpu variable `vector_irq' is not cleared on
offlined cpus while disabling devices' irqs. If the cpu that has
the disabled irqs in vector_irq is hotplugged,
__setup_vector_irq() hits invalid irq vector and may crash.
This bug can be reproduced as following;
# echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu7/online
# modprobe -r some_driver_using_interrupts # vector_irq@cpu7 uncleared
# echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu7/online # kernel may crash
This patch fixes this bug by clearing vector_irq in
__clear_irq_vector() even if the cpu is offlined.

The root cause seems to be the
default_send_IPI_mask_allbutself_phys() takes quite some time (I
measured it could be several ms) to complete sending NMIs to all
the other 23 CPUs, and for HZ=250/1000 system, the time is long
enough for a timer interrupt to happen, which will in turn
trigger to kick load balance to a stopped CPU and cause this
warning in native_smp_send_reschedule().
So disabling the local irq before stop_other_cpu() can fix this
problem (tested 25 times reboot ok), and it is fine as there
should be nobody caring the timer interrupt in such reboot
stage.
The latest 3.4 kernel slightly changes this behavior by sending
REBOOT_VECTOR first and only send NMI_VECTOR if the REBOOT_VCTOR
fails, and this patch is still needed to prevent the problem.

The reason is that the bit of node 2 was not set at
numa_nodes_parsed. numa_nodes_parsed is set by only
acpi_numa_processor_affinity_init /
acpi_numa_x2apic_affinity_init. Thus even if hot-added memory
which is same PXM as hot-added CPU is written in ACPI SRAT
Table, if the hot-added CPU is not written in ACPI SRAT table,
numa_nodes_parsed is not set.
But according to ACPI Spec Rev 5.0, it says about ACPI SRAT
table as follows: This optional table provides information that
allows OSPM to associate processors and memory ranges, including
ranges of memory provided by hot-added memory devices, with
system localities / proximity domains and clock domains.
It means that ACPI SRAT table only provides information for CPUs
present at boot time and for memory including hot-added memory.
So hot-added memory is written in ACPI SRAT table, but hot-added
CPU is not written in it. Thus numa_nodes_parsed should be set
by not only acpi_numa_processor_affinity_init /
acpi_numa_x2apic_affinity_init but also
acpi_numa_memory_affinity_init for the case.
Additionally, if system has cpuless memory node,
acpi_numa_processor_affinity_init /
acpi_numa_x2apic_affinity_init cannot set numa_nodes_parseds
since these functions cannot find cpu description for the node.
In this case, numa_nodes_parsed needs to be set by
acpi_numa_memory_affinity_init.

Fix the x86 instruction decoder to decode bsr/bsf/jmpe with
operand-size prefix (66h). This fixes the test case failure
reported by Linus, attached below.
bsf/bsr/jmpe have a special encoding. Opcode map in
Intel Software Developers Manual vol2 says they have
TZCNT/LZCNT variants if it has F3h prefix. However, there
is no information if it has other 66h or F2h prefixes.
Current instruction decoder supposes that those are
bad instructions, but it actually accepts at least
operand-size prefixes.
H. Peter Anvin further explains:
" TZCNT/LZCNT are F3 + BSF/BSR exactly because the F2 and
F3 prefixes have historically been no-ops with most instructions.
This allows software to unconditionally use the prefixed versions
and get TZCNT/LZCNT on the processors that have them if they don't
care about the difference. "

The commit (bce492c0 ARM: OMAP2+: UART: Fix incorrect population of
default uart pads) removed default uart pads that where getting populated
and which was making rx pin wakeup capable. If uart pads were used in
different mode by any other module then it would fail since the default
pads took over all the uart pins forcefully. With removal of default pads
the rx_pad wakeup for console uart while waking up from off mode is broken.
Utilise the mux api available to probe the availability of mux pins
in uart mode and probe for availability of uart pin in mux mode0
if uart is available as uart pin itself then configure rx pin
as wakeup capable.
This patch itself doesn't cater to all boards. Boards using uart rx wakeup
mechanism should ensure the usage of omap_serial_init_port by configuring
required uart ports and pass necessary mux data, till then this probing of
uart pins can cater to enabling of rx pad wakeup to most of the boards.
This patch can also throw some boot warning from _omap_mux_get_by_name
if pin is requested for availability is not present while dynamically probing
the uart pins availability such boot warnings can be addressed only when board
files are patched with omap_serial_init_port calls passing the right pads
needed for a given port.

in round_rate we made the assumption that we can set arbitrary
frequencies and thus returned the input rate. This is not correct,
for certain frequencies after setting a frequency with set_rate,
recalc_rate will return different values. To fix this, introduce
set_rate/recalc_rate functions which work on variables instead
of registers directly. This way we can call these in round_rate
to get the exact rate which we would get if we call set_rate
with this value.

The i.MX5 PLL has two different register sets for setting the
rate. One is used for the standard case and and is used for
DVFS. Which one of them is used depends on a hardware input
of the PLL. Current implementation reads back from the hardware
which setting is used. This is bogus: If we ever want to implement
DVFS we have to program both register sets and not only the one
which happens to be used at the moment. For now, just use the
standard register set uncondionally.

CMA has been enabled unconditionally on all ARMv6+ systems to solve the
long standing issue of double kernel mappings for all dma coherent
buffers. This however created a dependency on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL for

implementation also on ARMv6+ systems without the need to use

Pull vfs fix and a fix from the signal changes for frv from Al Viro.
The __kernel_nlink_t for powerpc got scrogged because 64-bit powerpc
actually depended on the default "unsigned long", while 32-bit powerpc
had an explicit override to "unsigned short". Al didn't notice, and
made both of them be the unsigned short.

When I added x32 ptrace to 3.4 kernel, I also include PTRACE_ARCH_PRCTL
support for x32 GDB For ARCH_GET_FS/GS, it takes a pointer to int64. But
at user level, ARCH_GET_FS/GS takes a pointer to int32. So I have to add
x32 ptrace to glibc to handle it with a temporary int64 passed to kernel and
copy it back to GDB as int32. Roland suggested that PTRACE_ARCH_PRCTL
is obsolete and x32 GDB should use fs_base and gs_base fields of
user_regs_struct instead.
Accordingly, remove PTRACE_ARCH_PRCTL completely from the x32 code to
avoid possible memory overrun when pointer to int32 is passed to
kernel.

If we end up calling do_notify_resume() with !user_mode(refs), it
does nothing (do_signal() explicitly bails out and we can't get there
with TIF_NOTIFY_RESUME in such situations). Then we jump to
resume_userspace_sig, which rechecks the same thing and bails out
to resume_kernel, thus breaking the loop.
It's easier and cheaper to check *before* calling do_notify_resume()
and bail out to resume_kernel immediately. And kill the check in
do_signal()...
Note that on amd64 we can't get there with !user_mode() at all - asm
glue takes care of that.

Since we can't expect every user to read the EFI boot stub code it
seems prudent to have a couple of paragraphs explaining what it is and
how it works.
The "initrd=" option in particular is tricky because it only
understands absolute EFI-style paths (backslashes as directory
separators), and until now this hasn't been documented anywhere. This
has tripped up a couple of users.

The loop at the 'close_handles' label in handle_ramdisks() should be
using 'i', which represents the number of initrd files that were
successfully opened, not 'nr_initrds' which is the number of initrd=
arguments passed on the command line.
Currently, if we execute the loop to close all file handles and we
failed to open any initrds we'll try to call the close function on a
garbage pointer, causing the machine to hang.

When both DYNAMIC_FTRACE and LOCKDEP are set, the TRACE_IRQS_ON/OFF
will call into the lockdep code. The lockdep code can call lots of
functions that may be traced by ftrace. When ftrace is updating its
code and hits a breakpoint, the breakpoint handler will call into
lockdep. If lockdep happens to call a function that also has a breakpoint
attached, it will jump back into the breakpoint handler resetting
the stack to the debug stack and corrupt the contents currently on
that stack.
The 'do_sym' call that calls do_int3() is protected by modifying the
IST table to point to a different location if another breakpoint is
hit. But the TRACE_IRQS_OFF/ON are outside that protection, and if
a breakpoint is hit from those, the stack will get corrupted, and
the kernel will crash:

The solution was to reuse the NMI functions that change the IDT table to make the debug
stack keep its current stack (in kernel mode) when hitting a breakpoint:
call debug_stack_set_zero
TRACE_IRQS_ON
call debug_stack_reset
If the TRACE_IRQS_ON happens to hit a breakpoint then it will keep the current stack
and not crash the box.

When the NMI handler runs, it checks if it preempted a debug handler
and if that handler is using the debug stack. If it is, it changes the
IDT table not to update the stack, otherwise it will reset the debug
stack and corrupt the debug handler it preempted.
Now that ftrace uses breakpoints to change functions from nops to
callers, many more places may hit a breakpoint. Unfortunately this
includes some of the calls that lockdep performs. Which causes issues
with the debug stack. It too needs to change the debug stack before
tracing (if called from the debug handler).
Allow the debug_stack_set_zero() and debug_stack_reset() to be nested
so that the debug handlers can take advantage of them too.
[ Used this_cpu_*() over __get_cpu_var() as suggested by H. Peter Anvin ]

When an NMI goes off and it sees that it preempted the debug stack,
to keep the debug stack safe, it changes the IDT to point to one that
does not modify the stack on breakpoint (to allow breakpoints in NMIs).
But the variable that gets set to know to undo it on exit never gets
cleared on exit. Thus every NMI will reset it on exit the first time
it is done even if it does not need to be reset.

On boot up and module load, it is fine to modify the code directly,
without the use of breakpoints. This is because boot up modification
is done before SMP is initialized, thus the modification is serial,
and module load is done before the module executes.
But after that we must use a SMP safe method to modify running code.
Otherwise, if we are running the function tracer and update its
function (by starting off the stack tracer, or perf tracing)
the change of the function called by the ftrace trampoline is done
directly. If this is being executed on another CPU, that CPU may
take a GPF and crash the kernel.
The breakpoint method is used to change the nops at all the functions, but
the change of the ftrace callback handler itself was still using a
direct modification. If tracing was enabled and the function callback
was changed then another CPU could fault if it was currently calling
the original callback. This modification must use the breakpoint method
too.
Note, the direct method is still used for boot up and module load.
Signed-off-by: Steven Rostedt <rostedt@goodmis.org>
When the function tracer starts modifying the code via breakpoints
it sets a variable (modifying_ftrace_code) to inform the breakpoint
handler to call the ftrace int3 code.
But there's no synchronization between setting this code and the
handler, thus it is possible for the handler to be called on another
CPU before it sees the variable. This will cause a kernel crash as
the int3 handler will not know what to do with it.
I originally added smp_mb()'s to force the visibility of the variable
but H. Peter Anvin suggested that I just make it atomic.

While doing the checkpoint-restore in the user space one need to determine
whether various kernel objects (like mm_struct-s of file_struct-s) are
shared between tasks and restore this state.
The 2nd step can be solved by using appropriate CLONE_ flags and the
unshare syscall, while there's currently no ways for solving the 1st one.
One of the ways for checking whether two tasks share e.g. mm_struct is to
provide some mm_struct ID of a task to its proc file, but showing such
info considered to be not that good for security reasons.
Thus after some debates we end up in conclusion that using that named
'comparison' syscall might be the best candidate. So here is it --
__NR_kcmp.
It takes up to 5 arguments - the pids of the two tasks (which
characteristics should be compared), the comparison type and (in case of
comparison of files) two file descriptors.
Lookups for pids are done in the caller's PID namespace only.
At moment only x86 is supported and tested.

1) Remove the idiotic situation wherein Leon was a special case in all
of the TLB/cache handling code.
The worst side effect of this bogosity is that you couldn't build a
kernel with Leon support enabled (to get better build coverage), and
test boot it on a non-LEON cpu.
Leon is, in all core respects, programatically identical to the
32-bit SRMMU. Except that they put the TLB registers in a different
alternate address space location.
Through code patching (for fast paths) and run time checks, this
issue is now a thing of the past.
From Sam Ravnborg.
2) There was a mis-merge of arch/sparc/Kconfig for one of the
clockevents changes that went in, causing 32-bit sparc to start
failing to build.
I merged in your tree to get those clockevents changes (and added a
note to the merge commit) then added Stephen Rothwell's fix for the
merge error.
3) Software quad floating point emulation was not working properly on
more recent Niagara chips, because the way the situation is reported
by the cpu has changed.
Nobody noticed because gcc emits calls to software emulation
routines in glibc.

Xen PV kernels allow access to the APERF/MPERF registers to read the
effective frequency. Access to the MSRs is however redirected to the
currently scheduled physical CPU, making consecutive read and
compares unreliable. In addition each rdmsr traps into the hypervisor.
So to avoid bogus readouts and expensive traps, disable the kernel
internal feature flag for APERF/MPERF if running under Xen.
This will
a) remove the aperfmperf flag from /proc/cpuinfo
b) not mislead the power scheduler (arch/x86/kernel/cpu/sched.c) to
use the feature to improve scheduling (by default disabled)
c) not mislead the cpufreq driver to use the MSRs
This does not cover userland programs which access the MSRs via the
device file interface, but this will be addressed separately.

Function pat_pagerange_is_ram() scales poorly to large address
ranges, because it probes the resource tree for each page.
On a 2.6 GHz Opteron, this function consumes 34 ms for a 1 GB range.

For 1 and 2 byte operands for xchg and cmpxchg the old and new values
get or'ed into the larger 4 byte old value before the compare and swap
instruction gets executed. This is done without using the proper byte
mask before or'ing the values.
If the caller passed in negative old or new values these got sign
extended by the caller. Which in turn means that either the old value
never matches, or, even worse, unrelated bytes would be changed in memory.
Luckily there don't seem to be any callers around yet, since that would
have resulted in the specification exception fixed in an earlies patch.

When accessing a 1 or 2 byte memory operand we cannot use the
passed address since the compare and swap instruction only works
for 4 byte aligned memory operands.
Hence we calculate an aligned address so that compare and swap works
correctly. However we don't pass the calculated address to the inline
assembly. This results in incorrect memory accesses and in a
specification exception if used on non 4 byte aligned memory operands.
Since this didn't happen until now, there don't seem to be
too many users of cmpxchg on unaligned addresses.

The cmpxchg macros and functions are a bit different than on other
architectures. In particular the macros do not store the return
value of a __cmpxchg function call in a variable before returning the
value.
This causes compile warnings that only occur on s390 like this one:
net/ipv4/af_inet.c: In function 'build_ehash_secret':
net/ipv4/af_inet.c:241:2: warning: value computed is not used [-Wunused-value]

It has been a big mistage to add the capabilities attribute to the
cpus in sysfs:
First the attribute only contains the cpu capability of primary cpus,
which however is not necessarily (or better: unlikely) the type of
cpu the kernel runs on, which is typically an IFL.
In addition all information that is necessary is available in
/proc/sysinfo already. So this attribute partially duplicated
informations.
So programs should look into the sysinfo file to retrieve all
informations they are interested in.
Since with this kernel release also the powersavings cpu attributes
are removed this seems to be a good opportunity to remove another
broken interface.

If the IPL CPU is offline, currently the pcpu_delegate() function
used by smp_call_ipl_cpu() does not work because pcpu_delegate()
modifies the lowcore of the target CPU. In case of an offline
IPL CPU currently the prefix register is zero but pcpu->lowcore
still points to the old prefix page. Therefore the lowcore changes
done by pcpu_delegate() have no effect.
With this fix pcpu_delegate() now uses memcpy_absolute() and therefore
also prepares the absolute zero lowcore if the target CPU has prefix
register zero.

flagship product, the FALCON SOC. It also means that the opensource
developers behind this patchset have overtaken Lantiq's competing
inhouse development team that was working behind closed doors.
Less noteworthy the ath79 patchset which adds support for a few more
chip variants, cleanups and fixes. Finally the usual dose of tweaking
of generic code."
Fix up trivial conflicts in arch/mips/lantiq/xway/gpio_{ebu,stp}.c where
printk spelling fixes clashed with file move and eventual removal of the
printk.

When holding the mmap_sem for reading, pmd_offset_map_lock should only
run on a pmd_t that has been read atomically from the pmdp pointer,
otherwise we may read only half of it leading to this crash.

This should be a longstanding bug affecting x86 32bit PAE without THP.
Only archs with 64bit large pmd_t and 32bit unsigned long should be
affected.
With THP enabled the barrier() in pmd_none_or_trans_huge_or_clear_bad()
would partly hide the bug when the pmd transition from none to stable,
by forcing a re-read of the *pmd in pmd_offset_map_lock, but when THP is
enabled a new set of problem arises by the fact could then transition
freely in any of the none, pmd_trans_huge or pmd_trans_stable states.
So making the barrier in pmd_none_or_trans_huge_or_clear_bad()
unconditional isn't good idea and it would be a flakey solution.
This should be fully fixed by introducing a pmd_read_atomic that reads
the pmd in order with THP disabled, or by reading the pmd atomically
with cmpxchg8b with THP enabled.
Luckily this new race condition only triggers in the places that must
already be covered by pmd_none_or_trans_huge_or_clear_bad() so the fix
is localized there but this bug is not related to THP.
NOTE: this can trigger on x86 32bit systems with PAE enabled with more
than 4G of ram, otherwise the high part of the pmd will never risk to be
truncated because it would be zero at all times, in turn so hiding the
SMP race.
This bug was discovered and fully debugged by Ulrich, quote:
----
[..]
pmd_none_or_trans_huge_or_clear_bad() loads the content of edx and
eax.
496 static inline int pmd_none_or_trans_huge_or_clear_bad(pmd_t
*pmd)
497 {
498 /* depend on compiler for an atomic pmd read */
499 pmd_t pmdval = *pmd;
// edi = pmd pointer
0xc0507a74 <sys_mincore+548>: mov 0x8(%esp),%edi
...
// edx = PTE page table high address
0xc0507a84 <sys_mincore+564>: mov 0x4(%edi),%edx
...
// eax = PTE page table low address
0xc0507a8e <sys_mincore+574>: mov (%edi),%eax
[..]
Please note that the PMD is not read atomically. These are two "mov"
instructions where the high order bits of the PMD entry are fetched
first. Hence, the above machine code is prone to the following race.
- The PMD entry {high|low} is 0x0000000000000000.
The "mov" at 0xc0507a84 loads 0x00000000 into edx.
- A page fault (on another CPU) sneaks in between the two "mov"
instructions and instantiates the PMD.
- The PMD entry {high|low} is now 0x00000003fda38067.
The "mov" at 0xc0507a8e loads 0xfda38067 into eax.

Omapdss driver changes for 3.5 merge window.
Lots of normal development commits, but perhaps most notable changes are:
* HDMI rework to properly decouple the HDMI audio part from the HDMI video part.
* Restructure omapdss core driver so that it's possible to implement device
tree support. This included changing how platform data is passed to the
drivers, changing display device registration and improving the panel driver's
ability to configure the underlying video output interface.
* Basic support for DSI packet interleaving
This makes <asm/word-at-a-time.h> actually live up to its promise of
allowing architectures to help tune the string functions that do their
work a word at a time.
David had already taken the x86 strncpy_from_user() function, modified
it to work on sparc, and then done the extra work to make it generically
useful. This then expands on that work by making x86 use that generic
version, completing the circle.
But more importantly, it fixes up the word-at-a-time interfaces so that
it's now easy to also support things like strnlen_user(), and pretty
much most random string functions.
David reports that it all works fine on sparc, and Jonas Bonn reported
that an earlier version of this worked on OpenRISC too. It's pretty
easy for architectures to add support for this and just replace their
private versions with the generic code.
* generic-string-functions:
sparc: use the new generic strnlen_user() function
x86: use the new generic strnlen_user() function
lib: add generic strnlen_user() function
word-at-a-time: make the interfaces truly generic
x86: use generic strncpy_from_user routine
A few device tree updates and an include file fix for versatile.
* 'vexpress-v3.4' of git://git.linaro.org/people/pawelmoll/linux:
ARM: vexpress: Remove twice included header files
ARM: vexpress: Device Tree updates
+ update to 3.4

This is a patch series from Shawn Guo that moves from individual
late_initcalls() to using a member in the machine structure to invoke
a platform's late initcalls.
This cleanup is a step in the move towards multiplatform kernels since
it would reduce the need to check for compatible platforms in each and
every initcall.

Fix up trivial conflicts in drivers/gpio/gpio-samsung.c that look much
worse than they are: the exonys5 init code was refactored in commit
fd454997d6 ("gpio: samsung: refactor gpiolib init for exynos4/5"), and
then commit f10590c983 ("ARM: EXYNOS: add GPC4 bank instance") added a
new gpio chip define and did tiny updates to the init code.
So the conflict diff looks like hell, but it's actually a fairly simple
change.
