We now using a common macro for PM operations in Intel LPSS driver,
and, since that macro relies on the definition and macro from linux/pm.h
header file, it's logical to include it directly in intel-lpss.h.
Otherwise it's a bit fragile and requires a proper ordering
of header inclusion in C files.

While ioctls normally return a negative error or 0 on success, this is not
the case for CROS_EC_DEV_IOCXCMD in the cros_ec driver, which returns the
number of bytes read instead. However, CROS_EC_DEV_IOCRDMEM in the same
driver does not return the number of byte read on success. This is both
inconsistent and problematic, since the amount of returned data can be
dynamic. Have it return the number of data bytes for consistency.

undefined here.
The easiest dependency solution is to simply defer the ACPI cleanup
until this change is present in mainline.

Lochnagar is an evaluation and development board for Cirrus
Logic Smart CODEC and Amp devices. It allows the connection of
most Cirrus Logic devices on mini-cards, as well as allowing
connection of various application processor systems to provide a
full evaluation platform. This driver supports the board
controller chip on the Lochnagar board. Audio system topology,
clocking and power can all be controlled through the Lochnagar
controller chip, allowing the device under test to be used in
a variety of possible use cases.
As the Lochnagar is a fairly complex device this MFD driver
allows the drivers for the various features to be bound
in. Initially clocking, regulator and pinctrl will be added as
these are necessary to configure the system. But in time at least
audio and voltage/current monitoring will also be added.

Replace impossible BUG() in probe with a proper return. This can be
triggered only in case of a clear bug (e.g. adding broken half-support
for new S2MPSXX flavor) but BUG() is discouraged and the boot process
can actually try to continue.

One of the more common cases of allocation size calculations is finding
the size of a structure that has a zero-sized array at the end, along
with memory for some number of elements for that array. For example:
struct foo {
int stuff;
struct boo entry[];
};
instance = devm_kzalloc(dev, sizeof(struct foo) + count * sizeof(struct boo), GFP_KERNEL);
Instead of leaving these open-coded and prone to type mistakes, we can
now use the new struct_size() helper:
instance = devm_kzalloc(dev, struct_size(instance, entry, count), GFP_KERNEL);
This code was detected with the help of Coccinelle.

The cros-ec-vbc driver is DT-only and there is a DT property that
indicates if the EC has the VCB NVRAM, in such case instantiate the
driver but don't instantiate on the other cases.
To do this move the check code to its parent instead of play with the
attribute group visibility. This changes a bit the actual behaviour.
Before the patch if an EC doesn't have a VBC NVRAM an empty vbc folder
is created in /sys/class/chromeos/<ec-device-name>, after the patch the
empty folder is not created, so, the folder is only created if the vbc
is set.

The entire way how cros debugfs attibutes are created is broken.
cros_ec_sysfs should be its own driver and its attributes should be
associated with the sysfs driver not the mfd driver.
The patch also adds the sysfs documentation.

associated with a vbc driver not the mfd driver. In order to retain
the path, the vbc attributes are attached to the cros_class.

Use devm_mfd_add_devices() for adding cros-ec core MFD child devices. This
reduces the need of remove callback from platform/chrome for removing the
MFD child devices.

This prepares the MFD for the STMPE ADC driver. This commit introduces
devicetree settings that are used by the ADC and adds an init function.
Common ADC settings that are shared with the touchscreen driver can now
reside in the overlying MFD.

This patch enables proper interrupts routing between UART module
in Exynos Audio SubSystem and the rest of the SoC. This routing is
completely transparent for UART device and CPU/GIC. UART driver requests
interrupts from the respective controller and enables/masks/handles it
by itself via standard methods.
There are boards (for example TM2), which use UART module in Exynos Audio
SubStem for communication with BlueTooth chip.

When mc13xxx_reg_read() fails, "old_adc0" is uninitialized and will
contain random value. Further execution uses "old_adc0" even when
mc13xxx_reg_read() fails.
The fix checks the return value of mc13xxx_reg_read(), and exits
the execution when it fails.

In the axp20x driver, the various mfd_cell lists had varying amounts
of indentation, sometimes even within the same list. For the axp288,
there's no alignment at all.
Re-align the right hand side of the assignments with the least amount
of tabs possible. Also collapse the closing bracket and the opening
bracket of the next entry onto the same line for the axp288, to be
consistent with all the other mfd_cell lists.
This patch is whitespace change only. No functionality is modified.
