The unification of these two functions allows to use them in the updated SMP infrastrucutre. To do so, remove the reason argument from flush_tlb_func_local(), add a member to struct tlb_flush_info that says which CPU initiated the flush and act accordingly. Optimize the size of flush_tlb_info while we are at it. Unfortunately, this prevents us from using a constant tlb_flush_info for arch_tlbbatch_flush(), but in a later stage we may be able to inline tlb_flush_info into the IPI data, so it should not have an impact eventually. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
