Mark-PK Tsai 310aa0a25b perf/hw_breakpoint: Fix arch_hw_breakpoint use-before-initialization If we disable the compiler's auto-initialization feature, if -fplugin-arg-structleak_plugin-byref or -ftrivial-auto-var-init=pattern are disabled, arch_hw_breakpoint may be used before initialization after: `9a4903dde2` ("perf/hw_breakpoint: Split attribute parse and commit") On our ARM platform, the struct step_ctrl in arch_hw_breakpoint, which used to be zero-initialized by kzalloc(), may be used in arch_install_hw_breakpoint() without initialization. Linux kernel
============

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.

In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``.  The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

    https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.

Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
