Oleksandr Natalenko dcf768b0ac HID: chicony: add another quirk for PixArt mouse
I've spotted another Chicony PixArt mouse in the wild, which requires
HID_QUIRK_ALWAYS_POLL quirk, otherwise it disconnects each minute.

USB ID of this device is 0x04f2:0x0939.

We've introduced quirks like this for other models before, so lets add
this mouse too.

Tobias Auerochs 10235380d1 HID: rmi: Use SET_REPORT request on control endpoint for Acer Switch 3 and 5
The touchpad on the cover keyboard for the Acer Switch 3 and 5 does not
work as-is under Linux. Both devices have the same usb id for the cover
keyboard.

The kernel correctly assigns the hid-rmi driver to the device using usbhid
for transport.
Any attempts of hid-rmi to talk to the device using hid_hw_output_report
fail however as usbhid does not have a working urbout due to the lack of
any out endpoints.

Looking through Wireshark usbmon recordings from the Windows Synaptics
driver for this computer running inside of QEMU shows that it should be
using SET_REPORT requests instead.

This replaces the hid_hw_output_report in hid-rmi with a
hid_hw_raw_request for this device, which is at least enough to enable
the kernel to get working multi-touch input.

This receiver is almost identical to the normal unifying ones except:
- it is supposed to be paired to only one device (for performance reasons)
- the mice reports have a greater ranges in their values, so they are

Hans de Goede 74808f9115 HID: logitech-dj: add support for non unifying receivers
We emulate the DJ functionality through the driver.

The receiver supports "fake device arrival" which behaves
like the probing of DJ devices.

A non-unifying receiver has 2 USB interfaces, the first one generates
standard keypresses and is compatible with the USB Keyboard Boot Subclass.
The second interface sends events for the mouse and special keys such as
the consumer-page keys. Events are split this way for BIOS / Windows /
generic-hid driver compatibility. This split does not actually match with
which device the event originate from, e.g. the consumer-page key events
originate from the keyboard but are delivered on the mouse interface.

To make sure the events are actually delivered to the dj_device
representing the originating device, we pick which dj_dev to forward
a "regular" input-report to based on the report-number, rather
then based on the originating interface.

Hans de Goede aa2d495f0c HID: Add support for Toshiba WT10A tablet bluetooth keyboard
The bluetooth-keyboard which comes with the Toshiba WT10A tablet uses
a couple of usage codes in the vendor specific ffbc page.

The keyboard has a vendor-id of 04f2 which maps to Chicony.

Other then adding a few keymappings for the ffbc usages, no special
handling is necessary. So rather then adding a new hid-toshiba driver,
this commit adds the ID and 2 extra key-mappings to the hid-topseed

ffbc usages (and does nothing else) and it already binds to another

Hans de Goede 4050207485 HID: ite: Add USB id match for another ITE based keyboard rfkill key quirk
The 258a:6a88 keyboard-dock shipped with the Prowise PT301 tablet is
likely another ITE based design. The controller die is directly bonded
to the PCB with a blob of black glue on top so there are no markings and
the 258a vendor-id used is unknown anywhere. But the keyboard has the
exact same hotkeys mapped to Fn+F1 - F10 as the other ITE8595 keyboard
I have *and* it has the same quirky behavior wrt the rfkill hotkey.

Either way as said this keyboard has the same quirk for its rfkill /

Hans de Goede afbb1169ed HID: i2c-hid: Remove RESEND_REPORT_DESCR quirk and its handling
Commit 52cf93e63e ("HID: i2c-hid: Don't reset device upon system resume")
removes the need for the RESEND_REPORT_DESCR quirk for Raydium devices, but
kept it for the SIS device id 10FB touchscreens, as the author of that
commit could not determine if the quirk is still necessary there.

I've tested suspend/resume on a Toshiba Click Mini L9W-B which is the
device for which this quirk was added in the first place and with the
"Don't reset device upon system resume" fix the quirk is no longer
necessary, so this commit removes it.

Note even better I also had some other devices with SIS touchscreens which
suspend/resume issues, where the RESEND_REPORT_DESCR quirk did not help.

I've also tested these devices with the "Don't reset device upon system
resume" fix and I'm happy to report that that fix also fixes touchscreen
resume on the following devices:

Asus T100HA
Asus T200TA
Peaq C1010

Kai-Heng Feng 52cf93e63e HID: i2c-hid: Don't reset device upon system resume
Raydium touchscreen triggers interrupt storm after system-wide suspend:

	[ 179.085033] i2c_hid i2c-CUST0000:00: i2c_hid_get_input: incomplete report (58/65535)

According to Raydium, Windows driver does not reset the device after system
resume.

The HID over I2C spec does specify a reset should be used at intialization, but
it doesn't specify if reset is required for system suspend.

Tested this patch on other i2c-hid touchpanels I have and those touchpanels do
work after S3 without doing reset. If any regression happens to other
touchpanel vendors, we can use quirk for Raydium devices.

There's still one device uses I2C_HID_QUIRK_RESEND_REPORT_DESCR so keep it
there.

Rodrigo Rivas Costa c164d6abf3 HID: add driver for Valve Steam Controller
There are two ways to connect the Steam Controller: directly to the USB
or with the USB wireless adapter. Both methods are similar, but the
wireless adapter can connect up to 4 devices at the same time.

The wired device will appear as 3 interfaces: a virtual mouse, a virtual
keyboard and a custom HID device.

The wireless device will appear as 5 interfaces: a virtual keyboard and
4 custom HID devices, that will remain silent until a device is actually
connected.

The custom HID device has a report descriptor with all vendor specific
usages, so the hid-generic is not very useful. In a PC/SteamBox Valve
Steam Client provices a software translation by using hidraw and a
creates a uinput virtual gamepad and XTest keyboard/mouse.

This driver intercepts the hidraw usage, so it can get out of the way
when the Steam Client is in use.

Tomasz Kramkowski ac58eec2c5 HID: elecom: rewrite report fixup for EX-G and future mice
This patch rewrites the mouse report fixup used for the DEFT and HUGE
elecom trackballs in order to make it generic enough to fix other
elecom mice with similar issues. This patch also uses this new report
fixup function to fix the Elecom EX-G trackball which has 6 physical
buttons and a similar issue to the other two mice.

Elecom's track record has so far shown that they like to re-use the
same report descriptor for multiple different mice regardless of the
number of buttons the mouse has. This means that the missing buttons
on multiple mice can be fixed in one function without introducing
phantom buttons which would in turn cause the number of mouse buttons
to be misreported to userspace.

This patch drops the very verbose report descriptor "diff" comment for
a more abridged yet hopefully just as informative generic version.

Hans de Goede 762f948c97 HID: asus: Add product-id for the T100TAF and T100HA keyboard docks
The T100TAF and T100HA keyboard docks have the same special keys and

product id.

The T100TAF and T100HA both use the same product id, but the T100HA's

This commits adds supports for the new USB id and uses a dmi-check to
determine if we're dealing with the T100TAF or T100HA.

Hans de Goede 402946a8ef HID: i2c-hid: Add no-irq-after-reset quirk for 0911:5288 device
Several cheap Apollo Lake based laptops / 2-in-1s use an i2c-hid mt
touchpad which is advertised by the DSDT with an ACPI HID of "SYNA3602",
this touchpad can be found on e.g. the Cube Thinker and the EZBook 3 Pro.

On my "T-bao Tbook air" the i2c-hid driver fails to bind to this touchpad:
"i2c_hid i2c-SYNA3602:00: failed to reset device.".

After some debuging this it seems that this touchpad simply never sends
an interrupt after a reset as expected by the i2c hid driver. This commit
adds a quirk for this device, making i2c_hid_command sleep 100ms after
a reset instead of waiting for an irq, fixing i2c-hid failing to bind to
this touchpad.

Hans de Goede f1918be1c1 HID: ite: Add hid-ite driver
The ITE8595 keyboard uses the HID_GD_RFKILL_BTN usage code
from the Wireless Radio Controls Application Collection Microsoft
has defined for Windows 8 and later.

However it has a quirk, when the rfkill hotkey is pressed it does
generate a report for the collection, but the reported value is
always 0. Luckily it is the only button in this collection / report,
and it sends a report on release only, so receiving a report means the
button was pressed.

This commit adds a hid-ite driver which watches for the Wireless Radio

ignoring the value, making the rfkill on this keyboard work.

Before commits a1cbda7a65a7a ("HID: asus: drop dependency

Of Gamers special keys") hid-asus only pertained to a single
I2C keyboard model found in ASUS X205TA, F205TA, & X200HA. The
aforementioned commits expanded this support to other ASUS
laptop keyboard models.

In order to clarify that existing keyboard and touchpad quirks
only apply to the I2C devices, and not ASUS keyboards in
general, I2C HID IDs and their corresponding quirk sets have
been renamed. In addition, the latter commit introduced
special key handling, which also applies to the I2C keyboard,
not just Republic of Gamers series. Therefore, the
rog_map_key_clear() macro is renamed to asus_map_key_clear()

Martyn Welch c846fe9ce9 HID: Accutouch: Add driver for ELO Accutouch 2216 USB Touchscreens
The Accutouch 2216 is reporting BTN_LEFT/BTN_MOUSE rather than BTM_TOUCH

This patch adds a special driver for the device to correct the

Benjamin Tissoires f3287a995a HID: multitouch: fix LG Melfas touchscreen
The LG Melfas touchscreen has a bad firmware where it declares the Contact ID
field as constant while it shouldn't. This messes up the autodetection and the
reporting of the events by hid-multitouch given that hid-input ignores constant
fields.

The autodetection is simply worked around by manually adding the device to
hid_have_special_driver[].

The processing of the events requires either a report fixup, or some specific
case handling. Given that the report fixup would require to basically rewrite
all the report descriptor, I went for the programatic way of fixing that after
the report descriptors are loaded.

- Avoid using USB low-level calls and use the HID subsystem instead
(as this device provides a USB HID interface)
- Use standard LED subsystem instead of proprietary sysfs entries,
this allows e.g. to use the device with features like triggers

Successfully tested with a Dream Cheeky Webmail Notifier and a
Riso Kagaku Webmail Notifier compatible device.

Trent Lloyd 282bf1fe6d HID: usbhid: quirks for Corsair RGB keyboard & mice (K70R, K95RGB, M65RGB, K70RGB, K65RGB)
These devices feature multiple interfaces/endpoints: a legacy BIOS/boot
interface (endpoint 0x81), as well as 2 corsair-specific keyboard interfaces
(endpoint 0x82, 0x83 IN/0x03 OUT) and an RGB LED control interface (endpoint
0x84 IN/0x04 OUT)

Because the extra 3 interfaces are not of subclass USB_INTERFACE_SUBCLASS_BOOT,
HID_QUIRK_NOGET is not automatically set on them and a 10s timeout per-endpoint
(30s per device) occurs initialising reports on boot. We configure
HID_QUIRK_NO_INIT_REPORTS for these devices.

Additionally the left-side G1-G18 macro keys on the K95RGB generate output on
the un-opened 0x82/0x83 endpoints which causes the keyboard to stop responding
waiting for this event to be collected. We enable HID_QUIRK_ALWAYS_POLL to
prevent this situation from occurring.

Simon Wood 7bfd2927ad HID: hid-logitech-hidpp: Add basic support for Logitech G920
This patch adds basic support for the Logitech G920 wheel when in HID
mode. This wheel 'speaks' the HID++ protocol, and therefor is driven
with hid-logitech-hidpp.

At this stage the driver only shows that it can communicate with the
wheel by outputting the name discovered over HID++.

The normal HID functions work to give input functionality using
joystick/event interface.

Note: in 'hidpp_probe()' we have to start the hardware to get packets
flowing, the same might apply in future for other devices which don't
use the unifying protocol.

Simon Wood c873d9aba7 HID: hid-lg: Add USBID for Logitech G29 Wheel
Since this wheel is now available, and the USBID is listed on their website,
this patch adds it to allow the hid-lg4ff force feedback driver to find it.

I do not have this wheel to test with, but this should at least get it working
in emulation mode.

Note: There is probably more work required for adjust HID descriptor and handle
switching between emulation and native modes.
