rxrpc_get_client_conn() adds a new call to the front of the waiting_calls
queue if the connection it's going to use already exists. This is bad as
it allows calls to get starved out.
Fix this by adding to the tail instead.
Also change the other enqueue point in the same function to put it on the
front (ie. when we have a new connection). This makes the point that in
the case of a new connection the new call goes at the front (though it
doesn't actually matter since the queue should be unoccupied).

Commit 7716682cc5 ("tcp/dccp: fix another race at listener
dismantle") let inet_csk_reqsk_queue_add() fail, and adjusted
{tcp,dccp}_check_req() accordingly. However, TFO and syncookies
weren't modified, thus leaking allocated resources on error.
Contrary to tcp_check_req(), in both syncookies and TFO cases,
we need to drop the request socket. Also, since the child socket is
created with inet_csk_clone_lock(), we have to unlock it and drop an
extra reference (->sk_refcount is initially set to 2 and
inet_csk_reqsk_queue_add() drops only one ref).
For TFO, we also need to revert the work done by tcp_try_fastopen()
(with reqsk_fastopen_remove()).

When used with unlocked classifier that have filters attached to actions
with goto chain, __tcf_chain_put() for last non action reference can race
with calls to same function from action cleanup code that releases last
action reference. In this case action cleanup handler could free the chain
if it executes after all references to chain were released, but before all
concurrent users finished using it. Modify __tcf_chain_put() to only access
tcf_chain fields when holding block->lock. Remove local variables that were
used to cache some tcf_chain fields and are no longer needed because their
values can now be obtained directly from chain under block->lock

Merge tag 'io_uring-2019-03-06' of git://git.kernel.dk/linux-block
Pull io_uring IO interface from Jens Axboe:
"Second attempt at adding the io_uring interface.
Since the first one, we've added basic unit testing of the three
system calls, that resides in liburing like the other unit tests that
we have so far. It'll take a while to get full coverage of it, but
we're working towards it. I've also added two basic test programs to
tools/io_uring. One uses the raw interface and has support for all the
various features that io_uring supports outside of standard IO, like
fixed files, fixed IO buffers, and polled IO. The other uses the
liburing API, and is a simplified version of cp(1).
This adds support for a new IO interface, io_uring.
io_uring allows an application to communicate with the kernel through
two rings, the submission queue (SQ) and completion queue (CQ) ring.
This allows for very efficient handling of IOs, see the v5 posting for
some basic numbers:
https://lore.kernel.org/linux-block/20190116175003.17880-1-axboe@kernel.dk/
Outside of just efficiency, the interface is also flexible and
extendable, and allows for future use cases like the upcoming NVMe
key-value store API, networked IO, and so on. It also supports async
buffered IO, something that we've always failed to support in the
kernel.
Outside of basic IO features, it supports async polled IO as well.
This particular feature has already been tested at Facebook months ago
for flash storage boxes, with 25-33% improvements. It makes polled IO
actually useful for real world use cases, where even basic flash sees
a nice win in terms of efficiency, latency, and performance. These
boxes were IOPS bound before, now they are not.
This series adds three new system calls. One for setting up an
io_uring instance (io_uring_setup(2)), one for submitting/completing
IO (io_uring_enter(2)), and one for aux functions like registrating
file sets, buffers, etc (io_uring_register(2)). Through the help of
Arnd, I've coordinated the syscall numbers so merge on that front
should be painless.
Jon did a writeup of the interface a while back, which (except for
minor details that have been tweaked) is still accurate. Find that
here:

Huge thanks to Al Viro for helping getting the reference cycle code
correct, and to Jann Horn for his extensive reviews focused on both
security and bugs in general.
There's a userspace library that provides basic functionality for
applications that don't need or want to care about how to fiddle with
the rings directly. It has helpers to allow applications to easily set
up an io_uring instance, and submit/complete IO through it without
knowing about the intricacies of the rings. It also includes man pages
(thanks to Jeff Moyer), and will continue to grow support helper
functions and features as time progresses. Find it here:

rxrpc_disconnect_client_call() reads the call's connection ID protocol
value (call->cid) as part of that function's variable declarations. This
is bad because it's not inside the locked section and so may race with
someone granting use of the channel to the call.
This manifests as an assertion failure (see below) where the call in the
presumed channel (0 because call->cid wasn't set when we read it) doesn't
match the call attached to the channel we were actually granted (if 1, 2 or
3).
Fix this by moving the read and dependent calculations inside of the
channel_lock section. Also, only set the channel number and pointer
variables if cid is not zero (ie. unset).
This problem can be induced by injecting an occasional error in
rxrpc_wait_for_channel() before the call to schedule().
Make two further changes also:
(1) Add a trace for wait failure in rxrpc_connect_call().
(2) Drop channel_lock before BUG'ing in the case of the assertion failure.
The failure causes a trace akin to the following:
rxrpc: Assertion failed - 18446612685268945920(0xffff8880beab8c00) == 18446612685268621312(0xffff8880bea69800) is false

In rt_bind_exception() it will bind a deleted fnhe with the new dst, and

The abort path can cause a double-free of an anonymous set.
Added-and-to-be-aborted rule looks like this:
udp dport { 137, 138 } drop
The to-be-aborted transaction list looks like this:
newset
newsetelem
newsetelem
rule
This gets walked in reverse order, so first pass disables the rule, the
set elements, then the set.
After synchronize_rcu(), we then destroy those in same order: rule, set
element, set element, newset.
Problem is that the anonymous set has already been bound to the rule, so
the rule (lookup expression destructor) already frees the set, when then
cause use-after-free when trying to delete the elements from this set,
then try to free the set again when handling the newset expression.
Rule releases the bound set in first place from the abort path, this
causes the use-after-free on set element removal when undoing the new
element transactions. To handle this, skip new element transaction if
set is bound from the abort path.
This is still causes the use-after-free on set element removal. To
handle this, remove transaction from the list when the set is already
bound.

If a non local multicast packet reaches ip_route_input_rcu() while
the ingress device IPv4 private data (in_dev) is NULL, we end up
doing a NULL pointer dereference in IN_DEV_MFORWARD().
Since the later call to ip_route_input_mc() is going to fail if

Patch series "Replace all open encodings for NUMA_NO_NODE", v3.
All these places for replacement were found by running the following
grep patterns on the entire kernel code. Please let me know if this
might have missed some instances. This might also have replaced some
false positives. I will appreciate suggestions, inputs and review.
1. git grep "nid == -1"
2. git grep "node == -1"
3. git grep "nid = -1"
4. git grep "node = -1"
This patch (of 2):
At present there are multiple places where invalid node number is
encoded as -1. Even though implicitly understood it is always better to
have macros in there. Replace these open encodings for an invalid node
number with the global macro NUMA_NO_NODE. This helps remove NUMA
related assumptions like 'invalid node' from various places redirecting
them to a common definition.

One of the more common cases of allocation size calculations is finding
the size of a structure that has a zero-sized array at the end, along
with memory for some number of elements for that array. For example:
struct foo {
int stuff;
struct boo entry[];
};
instance = kmalloc(sizeof(struct foo) + count * sizeof(struct boo), GFP_KERNEL);
Instead of leaving these open-coded and prone to type mistakes, we can
now use the new struct_size() helper:
instance = kmalloc(struct_size(instance, entry, count), GFP_KERNEL);

Similar to commit 44f49dd8b5 ("ipmr: fix possible race resulting from
improper usage of IP_INC_STATS_BH() in preemptible context."), we cannot
assume preemption is disabled when incrementing the counter and
accessing a per-CPU variable.
Preemption can be enabled when we add a route in process context that
corresponds to packets stored in the unresolved queue, which are then
forwarded using this route [1].
Fix this by using IP6_INC_STATS() which takes care of disabling
preemption on architectures where it is needed.

pull-request: bpf-next 2019-03-04
The following pull-request contains BPF updates for your *net-next* tree.
The main changes are:
1) Add AF_XDP support to libbpf. Rationale is to facilitate writing
AF_XDP applications by offering higher-level APIs that hide many
of the details of the AF_XDP uapi. Sample programs are converted
over to this new interface as well, from Magnus.
2) Introduce a new cant_sleep() macro for annotation of functions
that cannot sleep and use it in BPF_PROG_RUN() to assert that
BPF programs run under preemption disabled context, from Peter.
3) Introduce per BPF prog stats in order to monitor the usage
of BPF; this is controlled by kernel.bpf_stats_enabled sysctl
knob where monitoring tools can make use of this to efficiently
determine the average cost of programs, from Alexei.
4) Split up BPF selftest's test_progs similarly as we already
did with test_verifier. This allows to further reduce merge
conflicts in future and to get more structure into our
quickly growing BPF selftest suite, from Stanislav.
5) Fix a bug in BTF's dedup algorithm which can cause an infinite
loop in some circumstances; also various BPF doc fixes and
improvements, from Andrii.
6) Various BPF sample cleanups and migration to libbpf in order
to further isolate the old sample loader code (so we can get
rid of it at some point), from Jakub.
7) Add a new BPF helper for BPF cgroup skb progs that allows
to set ECN CE code point and a Host Bandwidth Manager (HBM)
sample program for limiting the bandwidth used by v2 cgroups,
from Lawrence.
8) Enable write access to skb->queue_mapping from tc BPF egress
programs in order to let BPF pick TX queue, from Jesper.
9) Fix a bug in BPF spinlock handling for map-in-map which did
not propagate spin_lock_off to the meta map, from Yonghong.
10) Fix a bug in the new per-CPU BPF prog counters to properly
initialize stats for each CPU, from Eric.
11) Add various BPF helper prototypes to selftest's bpf_helpers.h,
from Willem.
12) Fix various BPF samples bugs in XDP and tracing progs,
from Toke, Daniel and Yonghong.
13) Silence preemption splat in test_bpf after BPF_PROG_RUN()
enforces it now everywhere, from Anders.
14) Fix a signedness bug in libbpf's btf_dedup_ref_type() to
get error handling working, from Dan.
15) Fix bpftool documentation and auto-completion with regards
to stream_{verdict,parser} attach types, from Alban.

Today, tls_sw_recvmsg is capable of using asynchronous mode to handle
application data TLS records. Moreover, it assumes that if the cipher
can be handled asynchronously, then all packets will be processed
asynchronously.
However, this assumption is not always true. Specifically, for AES-GCM
in TLS1.2, it causes data corruption, and breaks user applications.

We were skipping the prepare phase which causes some problems with at
least a couple of drivers:
- mv88e6xxx chooses to skip programming VID = 0 with -EOPNOTSUPP in

would only call the commit phase and so we would get the driver to
return -EINVAL instead
- qca8k does not currently have a port_vlan_add() callback implemented,

hairy, and it turns out we can actually simplify it quite a bit. This also
allows us to get rid of one of the two diffserv parsing functions, which

Add flag 'FWMARK' to enable use of firewall connmarks as tin selector.
The connmark (skbuff->mark) needs to be in the range 1->tin_cnt ie.
for diffserv3 the mark needs to be 1->3.
Background
Typically CAKE uses DSCP as the basis for tin selection. DSCP values
are relatively easily changed as part of the egress path, usually with
iptables & the mangle table, ingress is more challenging. CAKE is often
used on the WAN interface of a residential gateway where passthrough of
DSCP from the ISP is either missing or set to unhelpful values thus use
of ingress DSCP values for tin selection isn't helpful in that
environment.
An approach to solving the ingress tin selection problem is to use
CAKE's understanding of tc filters. Naive tc filters could match on
source/destination port numbers and force tin selection that way, but
multiple filters don't scale particularly well as each filter must be
traversed whether it matches or not. e.g. a simple example to map 3
firewall marks to tins:
MAJOR=$( tc qdisc show dev $DEV | head -1 | awk '{print $3}' )
tc filter add dev $DEV parent $MAJOR protocol all handle 0x01 fw action skbedit priority ${MAJOR}1
tc filter add dev $DEV parent $MAJOR protocol all handle 0x02 fw action skbedit priority ${MAJOR}2
tc filter add dev $DEV parent $MAJOR protocol all handle 0x03 fw action skbedit priority ${MAJOR}3
Another option is to use eBPF cls_act with tc filters e.g.
MAJOR=$( tc qdisc show dev $DEV | head -1 | awk '{print $3}' )
tc filter add dev $DEV parent $MAJOR bpf da obj my-bpf-fwmark-to-class.o
This has the disadvantages of a) needing someone to write & maintain
the bpf program, b) a bpf toolchain to compile it and c) needing to
hardcode the major number in the bpf program so it matches the cake
instance (or forcing the cake instance to a particular major number)
since the major number cannot be passed to the bpf program via tc
command line.
As already hinted at by the previous examples, it would be helpful
to associate tins with something that survives the Internet path and
ideally allows tin selection on both egress and ingress. Netfilter's
conntrack permits setting an identifying mark on a connection which
can also be restored to an ingress packet with tc action connmark e.g.
tc filter add dev eth0 parent ffff: protocol all prio 10 u32 \
match u32 0 0 flowid 1:1 action connmark action mirred egress redirect dev ifb1
Since tc's connmark action has restored any connmark into skb->mark,
any of the previous solutions are based upon it and in one form or
another copy that mark to the skb->priority field where again CAKE
picks this up.
This change cuts out at least one of the (less intuitive &
non-scalable) middlemen and permit direct access to skb->mark.

CAKE host fairness does not work well with TCP flows in dual-srchost and
dual-dsthost setup. The reason is that ACKs generated by TCP flows are
classified as sparse flows, and affect flow isolation from other hosts. Fix
this by calculating host_load based only on the bulk flows a host
generates. In a hash collision the host_bulk_flow_count values must be
decremented on the old hosts and incremented on the new ones *if* the queue

In the series fc8b81a598 ("Merge branch 'lockless-qdisc-series'")
John made the assumption that the data path had no need to read
the qdisc qlen (number of packets in the qdisc).
It is true when pfifo_fast is used as the root qdisc, or as direct MQ/MQPRIO
children.
But pfifo_fast can be used as leaf in class full qdiscs, and existing
logic needs to access the child qlen in an efficient way.
HTB breaks badly, since it uses cl->leaf.q->q.qlen in :
htb_activate() -> WARN_ON()
htb_dequeue_tree() to decide if a class can be htb_deactivated
when it has no more packets.
HFSC, DRR, CBQ, QFQ have similar issues, and some calls to
qdisc_tree_reduce_backlog() also read q.qlen directly.
Using qdisc_qlen_sum() (which iterates over all possible cpus)
in the data path is a non starter.
It seems we have to put back qlen in a central location,
at least for stable kernels.
For all qdisc but pfifo_fast, qlen is guarded by the qdisc lock,
so the existing q.qlen{++|--} are correct.
For 'lockless' qdisc (pfifo_fast so far), we need to use atomic_{inc|dec}()
because the spinlock might be not held (for example from
pfifo_fast_enqueue() and pfifo_fast_dequeue())
This patch adds atomic_qlen (in the same location than qlen)
and renames the following helpers, since we want to express
they can be used without qdisc lock, and that qlen is no longer percpu.
- qdisc_qstats_cpu_qlen_dec -> qdisc_qstats_atomic_qlen_dec()
- qdisc_qstats_cpu_qlen_inc -> qdisc_qstats_atomic_qlen_inc()
Later (net-next) we might revert this patch by tracking all these
qlen uses and replace them by a more efficient method (not having
to access a precise qlen, but an empty/non_empty status that might
be less expensive to maintain/track).
Another possibility is to have a legacy pfifo_fast version that would
be used when used a a child qdisc, since the parent qdisc needs
a spinlock anyway. But then, future lockless qdiscs would also
have the same problem.

This patch adds a new bpf helper BPF_FUNC_skb_ecn_set_ce
"int bpf_skb_ecn_set_ce(struct sk_buff *skb)". It is added to
BPF_PROG_TYPE_CGROUP_SKB typed bpf_prog which currently can
be attached to the ingress and egress path. The helper is needed
because his type of bpf_prog cannot modify the skb directly.
This helper is used to set the ECN field of ECN capable IP packets to ce
(congestion encountered) in the IPv6 or IPv4 header of the skb. It can be
used by a bpf_prog to manage egress or ingress network bandwdith limit
per cgroupv2 by inducing an ECN response in the TCP sender.
This works best when using DCTCP.

TCP resets cause instant transition from established to closed state
provided the reset is in-window. Endpoints that implement RFC 5961
require resets to match the next expected sequence number.
RST segments that are in-window (but that do not match RCV.NXT) are
ignored, and a "challenge ACK" is sent back.
Main problem for conntrack is that its a middlebox, i.e. whereas an end
host might have ACK'd SEQ (and would thus accept an RST with this
sequence number), conntrack might not have seen this ACK (yet).
Therefore we can't simply flag RSTs with non-exact match as invalid.
This updates RST processing as follows:
1. If the connection is in a state other than ESTABLISHED, nothing is
changed, RST is subject to normal in-window check.
2. If the RSTs sequence number either matches exactly RCV.NXT,
connection state moves to CLOSE.
3. The same applies if the RST sequence number aligns with a previous
packet in the same direction.
In all other cases, the connection remains in ESTABLISHED state.
If the normal-in-window check passes, the timeout will be lowered
to that of CLOSE.
If the peer sends a challenge ack, connection timeout will be reset.
If the challenge ACK triggers another RST (RST was valid after all),
this 2nd RST will match expected sequence and conntrack state changes to
CLOSE.
If no challenge ACK is received, the connection will time out after
CLOSE seconds (10 seconds by default), just like without this patch.

In __skb_to_sgvec(), the skb->len is not equal to the sum of the skb's
linear data size and nonlinear data size, thus BUG_ON triggered.
Because the skb is cloned and a part of nonlinear data is split off.
Duplicate packet is cloned in netem_enqueue() and may be delayed
some time in qdisc. When qdisc len reached the limit and returns
NET_XMIT_DROP, the skb will be retransmit later in write queue.
the skb will be fragmented by tso_fragment(), the limit size
that depends on cwnd and mss decrease, the skb's nonlinear
data will be split off. The length of the skb cloned by netem
will not be updated. When we use virtio_net NIC and invoke skb_to_sgvec(),
the BUG_ON trigger.
To fix it, netem returns NET_XMIT_SUCCESS to upper stack
when it clones a duplicate packet.

We need this functionality for the io_uring file registration, but

The submission queue (SQ) and completion queue (CQ) rings are shared
between the application and the kernel. This eliminates the need to
copy data back and forth to submit and complete IO.
IO submissions use the io_uring_sqe data structure, and completions
are generated in the form of io_uring_cqe data structures. The SQ
ring is an index into the io_uring_sqe array, which makes it possible
to submit a batch of IOs without them being contiguous in the ring.
The CQ ring is always contiguous, as completion events are inherently
unordered, and hence any io_uring_cqe entry can point back to an
arbitrary submission.
Two new system calls are added for this:
io_uring_setup(entries, params)
Sets up an io_uring instance for doing async IO. On success,
returns a file descriptor that the application can mmap to
gain access to the SQ ring, CQ ring, and io_uring_sqes.
io_uring_enter(fd, to_submit, min_complete, flags, sigset, sigsetsize)
Initiates IO against the rings mapped to this fd, or waits for
them to complete, or both. The behavior is controlled by the
parameters passed in. If 'to_submit' is non-zero, then we'll
try and submit new IO. If IORING_ENTER_GETEVENTS is set, the
kernel will wait for 'min_complete' events, if they aren't
already available. It's valid to set IORING_ENTER_GETEVENTS
and 'min_complete' == 0 at the same time, this allows the
kernel to return already completed events without waiting
for them. This is useful only for polling, as for IRQ
driven IO, the application can just check the CQ ring
without entering the kernel.
With this setup, it's possible to do async IO with a single system
call. Future developments will enable polled IO with this interface,
and polled submission as well. The latter will enable an application
to do IO without doing ANY system calls at all.
For IRQ driven IO, an application only needs to enter the kernel for
completions if it wants to wait for them to occur.
Each io_uring is backed by a workqueue, to support buffered async IO
as well. We will only punt to an async context if the command would
need to wait for IO on the device side. Any data that can be accessed
directly in the page cache is done inline. This avoids the slowness
issue of usual threadpools, since cached data is accessed as quickly
as a sync interface.

The Amanda CONNECT command has been updated to establish an optional

CONNECT DATA port0 MESG port1 INDEX port2
nf_conntrack_amanda analyses the CONNECT command string in order to
learn the port numbers of the related DATA, MESG and INDEX streams. As
of amanda v3.4, the CONNECT command can advertise an additional port:
CONNECT DATA port0 MESG port1 INDEX port2 STATE port3
The new STATE stream is not handled, thus the connection on the STATE
port cannot be established.
The patch adds support for STATE streams to the amanda conntrack helper.

When sending multicast messages via blocking socket,
if sending link is congested (tsk->cong_link_cnt is set to 1),
the sending thread will be put into sleeping state. However,
tipc_sk_filter_rcv() is called under socket spin lock but
tipc_wait_for_cond() is not. So, there is no guarantee that
the setting of tsk->cong_link_cnt to 0 in tipc_sk_proto_rcv() in

thread in CPU-0 after being waken up, will continue to see
tsk->cong_link_cnt as 1 and put the sending thread into sleeping

Make use of the struct_size() helper instead of an open-coded version
in order to avoid any potential type mistakes, in particular in the
context in which this code is being used.
So, change the following form:
sizeof(*rp) + (sizeof(rp->entry[0]) * count);
to :
struct_size(rp, entry, count)
Notice that, in this case, variable rp_len is not necessary, hence
it is removed.

Random dropping of packets to achieve latency control may
introduce outlier situations where packets are dropped too
close to each other or too far from each other. This can
cause the real drop percentage to temporarily deviate from
the intended drop probability. In certain scenarios, such
as a small number of simultaneous TCP flows, these
deviations can cause significant deviations in link
utilization and queuing latency.
RFC 8033 suggests using a derandomization mechanism to avoid
these deviations.

The current implementation scales the local alpha and beta
variables in the calculate_probability function by the same
amount for all values of drop probability below 1%.
RFC 8033 suggests using additional cases for auto-tuning
alpha and beta when the drop probability is less than 1%.
In order to add more auto-tuning cases, MAX_PROB must be
scaled by u64 instead of u32 to prevent underflow when
scaling the local alpha and beta variables in the
calculate_probability function.

Syzbot found out that running BPF_PROG_TEST_RUN with repeat=0xffffffff
makes process unkillable. The problem is that when CONFIG_PREEMPT is
enabled, we never see need_resched() return true. This is due to the
fact that preempt_enable() (which we do in bpf_test_run_one on each
iteration) now handles resched if it's needed.
Let's disable preemption for the whole run, not per test. In this case
we can properly see whether resched is needed.
Let's also properly return -EINTR to the userspace in case of a signal
interrupt.
This is a follow up for a recently fixed issue in bpf_test_run, see
commit df1a2cb7c7 ("bpf/test_run: fix unkillable
BPF_PROG_TEST_RUN").

Commit 9060cb719e ("net: crypto set sk to NULL when af_alg_release.")
fixed a use-after-free in sockfs_setattr() when an AF_ALG socket is
closed concurrently with fchownat(). However, it ignored that many
other proto_ops::release() methods don't set sock->sk to NULL and
therefore allow the same use-after-free:
- base_sock_release
- bnep_sock_release
- cmtp_sock_release
- data_sock_release
- dn_release
- hci_sock_release
- hidp_sock_release
- iucv_sock_release
- l2cap_sock_release
- llcp_sock_release
- llc_ui_release
- rawsock_release
- rfcomm_sock_release
- sco_sock_release
- svc_release
- vcc_release
- x25_release
Rather than fixing all these and relying on every socket type to get
this right forever, just make __sock_release() set sock->sk to NULL
itself after calling proto_ops::release().
Reproducer that produces the KASAN splat when any of these socket types
are configured into the kernel:
#include <pthread.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <sys/socket.h>
#include <unistd.h>
pthread_t t;
volatile int fd;
void *close_thread(void *arg)
{
for (;;) {
usleep(rand() % 100);
close(fd);
}
}
int main()
{
pthread_create(&t, NULL, close_thread, NULL);
for (;;) {
fd = socket(rand() % 50, rand() % 11, 0);
fchownat(fd, "", 1000, 1000, 0x1000);
close(fd);
}
}

Using tcf_walker->stop flag to determine when tcf_walker->fn() was called

tcf_walker structure with dedicated 'nonempty' flag. Set this flag in

The patch enables returning 'type' in msghdr for records that are
retrieved with MSG_PEEK in recvmsg. Further it prevents records peeked
from socket from getting clubbed with any other record of different
type when records are subsequently dequeued from strparser.
For each record, we now retain its type in sk_buff's control buffer
cb[]. Inside control buffer, record's full length and offset are already
stored by strparser in 'struct strp_msg'. We store record type after
'struct strp_msg' inside 'struct tls_msg'. For tls1.2, the type is
stored just after record dequeue. For tls1.3, the type is stored after
record has been decrypted.
Inside process_rx_list(), before processing a non-data record, we check
that we must be able to return back the record type to the user
application. If not, the decrypted records in tls context's rx_list is
left there without consuming any data.

when receives query with source 0.0.0.0") and commit 0fe5119e26 ("net:
bridge: remove ipv6 zero address check in mcast queries")
The reason is RFC 4541 is not a standard but suggestive. Currently we
will elect 0.0.0.0 as Querier if there is no ip address configured on
bridge. If we do not add the port which recives query with source
0.0.0.0 to router list, the IGMP reports will not be about to forward
to Querier, IGMP data will also not be able to forward to dest.
As Nikolay suggested, revert this change first and add a boolopt api
to disable none-zero election in future if needed.

but it looks like a build error occurs depending on the compiler.
Commit 303a339f30 ("bpfilter: remove extra header search paths for
bpfilter_umh") reintroduced the build error fixed by commit ae40832e53
("bpfilter: fix a build err").
Apology for the breakage, and thanks to Guenter for reporting this.

For tcindex filter, it is too late to initialize the
net pointer in tcf_exts_validate(), as tcf_exts_get_net()
requires a non-NULL net pointer. We can just move its
initialization into tcf_exts_init(), which just requires
an additional parameter.
This makes the code in tcindex_alloc_perfect_hash()
prettier.

c72219b75f introduced tpacket_set_protocol that parses the Ethernet L2
header and sets skb->protocol if it's unset. It is no longer needed
since the introduction of packet_parse_headers. In case of SOCK_RAW and
unset skb->protocol, packet_parse_headers asks the driver to tell the
protocol number, and it's implemented for all Ethernet devices. As the
old function supported only Ethernet, no functionality is lost.

If the socket was created with socket(AF_PACKET, SOCK_RAW, 0),
skb->protocol will be unset, __skb_flow_dissect() will fail, and
skb_probe_transport_header() will fall back to the offset_hint, making
the resulting skb_transport_offset incorrect.
If, however, there is no transport header in the packet,
transport_header shouldn't be set to an arbitrary value.
Fix it by leaving the transport offset unset if it couldn't be found, to
be explicit rather than to fill it with some wrong value. It changes the
behavior, but if some code relied on the old behavior, it would be
broken anyway, as the old one is incorrect.

In order to properly support VLAN filtering being enabled/disabled on a
bridge, while having other ports being non bridge port members, we need
to support the ndo_vlan_rx_{add,kill}_vid callbacks in order to make
sure the non-bridge ports can continue receiving VLAN tags, even when
the switch is globally configured to do ingress/egress VID checking.
Since we can call dsa_port_vlan_{add,del} with a bridge_dev pointer
NULL, we now need to check that in these two functions.
We specifically deal with two possibly problematic cases:
- creating a bridge VLAN entry while there is an existing VLAN device
claiming that same VID
- creating a VLAN device while there is an existing bridge VLAN entry
with that VID
Those are both resolved with returning -EBUSY back to user-space.

VLAN devices on top of a DSA network device which is already part of a
bridge and with said bridge being VLAN aware should not be allowed to be
enslaved into that bridge. For one, this duplicates functionality
offered by the VLAN aware bridge which supports tagged and untagged VLAN
frames processing and it would make things needlessly complex to e.g.:
propagate FDB/MDB accordingly.

When a netdevice is unregistered, we flush the relevant exception
via rt6_sync_down_dev() -> fib6_ifdown() -> fib6_del() -> fib6_del_route().
Finally, we end-up calling rt6_remove_exception(), where we release
the relevant dst, while we keep the references to the related fib6_info and
dev. Such references should be released later when the dst will be
destroyed.
There are a number of caches that can keep the exception around for an
unlimited amount of time - namely dst_cache, possibly even socket cache.
As a result device registration may hang, as demonstrated by this script:

hb_timer might not start at all for a particular transport because its
start is conditional. In a result a node is not sending heartbeats.
Function sctp_transport_reset_hb_timer has two roles:
- initial start of hb_timer for a given transport,
- update expire date of hb_timer for a given transport.
The function is optimized to update timer's expire only if it is before
a new calculated one but this comparison is invalid for a timer which
has not yet started. Such a timer has expire == 0 and if a new expire
value is bigger than (MAX_JIFFIES / 2 + 2) then "time_before" macro will
fail and timer will not start resulting in no heartbeat packets send by
the node.
This was found when association was initialized within first 5 mins
after system boot due to jiffies init value which is near to MAX_JIFFIES.
Test kernel version: 4.9.154 (ARCH=arm)
hb_timer.expire = 0; //initialized, not started timer
new_expire = MAX_JIFFIES / 2 + 2; //or more
time_before(hb_timer.expire, new_expire) == false

When we did the original tests for the optimal value of sk_pacing_shift, we
came up with 6 ms of buffering as the default. Sadly, 6 is not a power of
two, so when picking the shift value I erred on the size of less buffering
and picked 4 ms instead of 8. This was probably wrong; those 2 ms of extra
buffering makes a larger difference than I thought.
So, change the default pacing shift to 7, which corresponds to 8 ms of
buffering. The point of diminishing returns really kicks in after 8 ms, and
so having this as a default should cut down on the need for extensive
per-device testing and overrides needed in the drivers.

With the bridge no longer calling switchdev_port_attr_get() to obtain
the supported bridge port flags from a driver but instead trying to set
the bridge port flags directly and relying on driver to reject
unsupported configurations, we can effectively get rid of
switchdev_port_attr_get() entirely since this was the only place where
it was called.

Switches work by learning the MAC address for each attached station by
monitoring traffic from each station. When a station sends a packet,
the switch records which port the MAC address is connected to.
With IPv4 networking, before communication commences with a neighbour,
an ARP packet is broadcasted to all stations asking for the MAC address
corresponding with the IPv4. The desired station responds with an ARP
reply, and the ARP reply causes the switch to learn which port the
station is connected to.
With IPv6 networking, the situation is rather different. Rather than
broadcasting ARP packets, a "neighbour solicitation" is multicasted
rather than broadcasted. This multicast needs to reach the intended
station in order for the neighbour to be discovered.
Once a neighbour has been discovered, and entered into the sending
stations neighbour cache, communication can restart at a point later
without sending a new neighbour solicitation, even if the entry in
the neighbour cache is marked as stale. This can be after the MAC
address has expired from the forwarding cache of the DSA switch -
when that occurs, there is a long pause in communication.
Our DSA implementation for mv88e6xxx switches disables flooding of
multicast and unicast frames for bridged ports. As per the above
description, this is fine for IPv4 networking, since the broadcasted
ARP queries will be sent to and received by all stations on the same
network. However, this breaks IPv6 very badly - blocking neighbour
solicitations and later causing connections to stall.
The defaults that the Linux bridge code expect from bridges are for
unknown unicast and unknown multicast frames to be flooded to all ports
on the bridge, which is at odds to the defaults adopted by our DSA
implementation for mv88e6xxx switches.
This commit enables by default flooding of both unknown unicast and
unknown multicast frames whenever a port is added to a bridge, and
disables the flooding when a port leaves the bridge. This means that
mv88e6xxx DSA switches now behave as per the bridge(8) man page, and
IPv6 works flawlessly through such a switch.

When tcindex_destroy() destroys all the filter results in
the perfect hash table, it invokes the walker to delete
each of them. However, results with class==0 are skipped
in either tcindex_walk() or tcindex_delete(), which causes
a memory leak reported by kmemleak.
This patch fixes it by skipping the walker and directly
deleting these filter results so we don't miss any filter
result.
As a result of this change, we have to initialize exts->net
properly in tcindex_alloc_perfect_hash(). For net-next, we
need to consider whether we should initialize ->net in
tcf_exts_init() instead, before that just directly test
CONFIG_NET_CLS_ACT=y.

tcindex_destroy() invokes tcindex_destroy_element() via
a walker to delete each filter result in its perfect hash
table, and tcindex_destroy_element() calls tcindex_delete()
which schedules tcf RCU works to do the final deletion work.
Unfortunately this races with the RCU callback
__tcindex_destroy(), which could lead to use-after-free as
reported by Adrian.
Fix this by migrating this RCU callback to tcf RCU work too,
as that workqueue is ordered, we will not have use-after-free.
Note, we don't need to hold netns refcnt because we don't call
tcf_exts_destroy() here.

Several u->addr and u->path users are not holding any locks in
common with unix_bind(). unix_state_lock() is useless for those
purposes.
u->addr is assign-once and *(u->addr) is fully set up by the time
we set u->addr (all under unix_table_lock). u->path is also
set in the same critical area, also before setting u->addr, and
any unix_sock with ->path filled will have non-NULL ->addr.
So setting ->addr with smp_store_release() is all we need for those
"lockless" users - just have them fetch ->addr with smp_load_acquire()
and don't even bother looking at ->path if they see NULL ->addr.
Users of ->addr and ->path fall into several classes now:
1) ones that do smp_load_acquire(u->addr) and access *(u->addr)
and u->path only if smp_load_acquire() has returned non-NULL.
2) places holding unix_table_lock. These are guaranteed that
*(u->addr) is seen fully initialized. If unix_sock is in one of the
"bound" chains, so's ->path.
3) unix_sock_destructor() using ->addr is safe. All places
that set u->addr are guaranteed to have seen all stores *(u->addr)
while holding a reference to u and unix_sock_destructor() is called
when (atomic) refcount hits zero.
4) unix_release_sock() using ->path is safe. unix_bind()
is serialized wrt unix_release() (normally - by struct file
refcount), and for the instances that had ->path set by unix_bind()
unix_release_sock() comes from unix_release(), so they are fine.
Instances that had it set in unix_stream_connect() either end up
attached to a socket (in unix_accept()), in which case the call
chain to unix_release_sock() and serialization are the same as in
the previous case, or they never get accept'ed and unix_release_sock()
is called when the listener is shut down and its queue gets purged.
In that case the listener's queue lock provides the barriers needed -
unix_stream_connect() shoves our unix_sock into listener's queue
under that lock right after having set ->path and eventual
unix_release_sock() caller picks them from that queue under the
same lock right before calling unix_release_sock().
5) unix_find_other() use of ->path is pointless, but safe -
it happens with successful lookup by (abstract) name, so ->path.dentry
is guaranteed to be NULL there.

When a DSA port is added to a bridge and brought up, the resulting STP
state programmed into the hardware depends on the order that these
operations are performed. However, the Linux bridge code believes that
the port is in disabled mode.
If the DSA port is first added to a bridge and then brought up, it will
be in blocking mode. If it is brought up and then added to the bridge,
it will be in disabled mode.
This difference is caused by DSA always setting the STP mode in
dsa_port_enable() whether or not this port is part of a bridge. Since
bridge always sets the STP state when the port is added, brought up or
taken down, it is unnecessary for us to manipulate the STP state.
Apparently, this code was copied from Rocker, and the very next day a
similar fix for Rocker was merged but was not propagated to DSA. See

The skb->queue_mapping already have read access, via __sk_buff->queue_mapping.
This patch allow BPF tc qdisc clsact write access to the queue_mapping via
tc_cls_act_is_valid_access. Also handle that the value NO_QUEUE_MAPPING
is not allowed.
It is already possible to change this via TC filter action skbedit
tc-skbedit(8). Due to the lack of TC examples, lets show one:
# tc qdisc add dev ixgbe1 clsact
# tc filter add dev ixgbe1 ingress matchall action skbedit queue_mapping 5
# tc filter list dev ixgbe1 ingress
The most common mistake is that XPS (Transmit Packet Steering) takes
precedence over setting skb->queue_mapping. XPS is configured per DEVICE
via /sys/class/net/DEVICE/queues/tx-*/xps_cpus via a CPU hex mask. To
disable set mask=00.
The purpose of changing skb->queue_mapping is to influence the selection of
the net_device "txq" (struct netdev_queue), which influence selection of
the qdisc "root_lock" (via txq->qdisc->q.lock) and txq->_xmit_lock. When
using the MQ qdisc the txq->qdisc points to different qdiscs and associated
locks, and HARD_TX_LOCK (txq->_xmit_lock), allowing for CPU scalability.
Due to lack of TC examples, lets show howto attach clsact BPF programs:
# tc qdisc add dev ixgbe2 clsact
# tc filter add dev ixgbe2 egress bpf da obj XXX_kern.o sec tc_qmap2cpu
# tc filter list dev ixgbe2 egress

Each tls context maintains two cipher contexts (one each for tx and rx
directions). For each tls session, the constants such as protocol
version, ciphersuite, iv size, associated data size etc are same for
both the directions and need to be stored only once per tls context.
Hence these are moved from 'struct cipher_context' to 'struct
tls_prot_info' and stored only once in 'struct tls_context'.

This patch aligns IP defragmenation logic in 6lowpan with that
of IPv4 and IPv6: see

Modifying ip_defrag selftest seemed like an overkill, as I suspect
most kernel test setups do not have 6lowpan hwsim enabled. So I ran
the following code/script manually:
insmod ./mac802154_hwsim.ko

ip link add link wpan0 name lowpan0 type lowpan
ip link set wpan0 up
ip link set lowpan0 up
iwpan dev wpan1 set pan_id 0xbeef
ip netns add foo
iwpan phy1 set netns name foo
ip netns exec foo ip link add link wpan1 name lowpan1 type lowpan
ip netns exec foo ip link set wpan1 up
ip netns exec foo ip link set lowpan1 up
ip -6 addr add "fb01::1/128" nodad dev lowpan0
ip -netns foo -6 addr add "fb02::1/128" nodad dev lowpan1
ip -6 route add "fb02::1/128" dev lowpan0
ip -netns foo -6 route add "fb01::1/128" dev lowpan1

Syzbot found out that running BPF_PROG_TEST_RUN with repeat=0xffffffff
makes process unkillable. The problem is that when CONFIG_PREEMPT is
enabled, we never see need_resched() return true. This is due to the
fact that preempt_enable() (which we do in bpf_test_run_one on each
iteration) now handles resched if it's needed.
Let's disable preemption for the whole run, not per test. In this case
we can properly see whether resched is needed.
Let's also properly return -EINTR to the userspace in case of a signal
interrupt.

One of the more common cases of allocation size calculations is finding
the size of a structure that has a zero-sized array at the end, along
with memory for some number of elements for that array. For example:
struct foo {
int stuff;

};
size = sizeof(struct foo) + count * sizeof(struct boo);
instance = alloc(size, GFP_KERNEL)
Instead of leaving these open-coded and prone to type mistakes, we can

After moving an XFRM interface to another namespace it stays associated
with the original namespace (net in `struct xfrm_if` and the list keyed
with `xfrmi_net_id`), allowing processes in the new namespace to use
SAs/policies that were created in the original namespace. For instance,
this allows a keying daemon in one namespace to establish IPsec SAs for
other namespaces without processes there having access to the keys or IKE
credentials.
This worked fine for outbound traffic, however, for inbound traffic the
lookup for the interfaces and the policies used the incorrect namespace
(the one the XFRM interface was moved to).

Add devlink flash update command. Advanced NICs have firmware
stored in flash and often cryptographically secured. Updating
that flash is handled by management firmware. Ethtool has a
flash update command which served us well, however, it has two
shortcomings:
- it takes rtnl_lock unnecessarily - really flash update has
nothing to do with networking, so using a networking device
as a handle is suboptimal, which leads us to the second one:
- it requires a functioning netdev - in case device enters an
error state and can't spawn a netdev (e.g. communication
with the device fails) there is no netdev to use as a handle
for flashing.
Devlink already has the ability to report the firmware versions,
now with the ability to update the firmware/flash we will be
able to recover devices in bad state.
To enable updates of sub-components of the FW allow passing
component name. This name should correspond to one of the
versions reported in devlink info.

SO_SNDBUF and SO_RCVBUF (and their *BUFFORCE version) may overflow or
underflow their input value. This patch aims at providing explicit
handling of these extreme cases, to get a clear behaviour even with
values bigger than INT_MAX / 2 or lower than INT_MIN / 2.
For simplicity, only SO_SNDBUF and SO_SNDBUFFORCE are described here,
but the same explanation and fix apply to SO_RCVBUF and SO_RCVBUFFORCE
(with 'SNDBUF' replaced by 'RCVBUF' and 'wmem_max' by 'rmem_max').
Overflow of positive values
===========================
When handling SO_SNDBUF or SO_SNDBUFFORCE, if 'val' exceeds
INT_MAX / 2, the buffer size is set to its minimum value because
'val * 2' overflows, and max_t() considers that it's smaller than
SOCK_MIN_SNDBUF. For SO_SNDBUF, this can only happen with
net.core.wmem_max > INT_MAX / 2.
SO_SNDBUF and SO_SNDBUFFORCE are actually designed to let users probe
for the maximum buffer size by setting an arbitrary large number that
gets capped to the maximum allowed/possible size. Having the upper
half of the positive integer space to potentially reduce the buffer
size to its minimum value defeats this purpose.
This patch caps the base value to INT_MAX / 2, so that bigger values
don't overflow and keep setting the buffer size to its maximum.
Underflow of negative values
============================
For negative numbers, SO_SNDBUF always considers them bigger than
net.core.wmem_max, which is bounded by [SOCK_MIN_SNDBUF, INT_MAX].
Therefore such values are set to net.core.wmem_max and we're back to
the behaviour of positive integers described above (return maximum
buffer size if wmem_max <= INT_MAX / 2, return SOCK_MIN_SNDBUF
otherwise).
However, SO_SNDBUFFORCE behaves differently. The user value is
directly multiplied by two and compared with SOCK_MIN_SNDBUF. If
'val * 2' doesn't underflow or if it underflows to a value smaller
than SOCK_MIN_SNDBUF then buffer size is set to its minimum value.
Otherwise the buffer size is set to the underflowed value.
This patch treats negative values passed to SO_SNDBUFFORCE as null, to
prevent underflows. Therefore negative values now always set the buffer
size to its minimum value.
Even though SO_SNDBUF behaves inconsistently by setting buffer size to
the maximum value when passed a negative number, no attempt is made to
modify this behaviour. There may exist some programs that rely on using
negative numbers to set the maximum buffer size. Avoiding overflows
because of extreme net.core.wmem_max values is the most we can do here.
Summary of altered behaviours

val < INT_MIN / 2

When enabled, the sip_external_media logic will leave SDP
payload untouched when it detects that interface towards INVITEd
party is the same with the one towards media endpoint.
The typical scenario for this logic is when a LAN SIP agent has more
than one IP address (uses a different address for media streams than
the one used on signalling stream) and it also forwards calls to a
voice mailbox located on the WAN side. In such case sip_direct_media
must be disabled (so normal calls could be handled by the SIP
helper), but media streams that are not traversing this router must
also be excluded from address translation (e.g. call forwards).

The features attribute is of type u64 and stored in the native endianes on
the system. The for_each_set_bit() macro takes a pointer to a 32 bit array
and goes over the bits in this area. On little Endian systems this also
works with an u64 as the most significant bit is on the highest address,
but on big endian the words are swapped. When we expect bit 15 here we get
bit 47 (15 + 32).
This patch converts it more or less to its own for_each_set_bit()
implementation which works on 64 bit integers directly. This is then
completely in host endianness and should work like expected.

On the 'net' side, Cong is fixing several races and memory

What I've decided to do, in order to resolve this, is revert the

to pure RCU. I did it this way because I believe that either Cong's

The starting of AP interface can fail due to invalid
beacon interval, which does not match the minimum gcd
requirement set by the wifi driver. In such case, the
beacon interval of that interface gets updated with
that invalid beacon interval.
The next time that interface is brought up in AP mode,
an interface combination check is performed and the
beacon interval is taken from the previously set value.
In a case where an invalid beacon interval, i.e. a beacon
interval value which does not satisfy the minimum gcd criteria
set by the driver, is set, all the subsequent trials to
bring that interface in AP mode will fail, even if the
subsequent trials have a valid beacon interval.
To avoid this, in case of a failure in bringing up an
interface in AP mode due to interface combination error,
the interface beacon interval which is stored in bss
conf, needs to be restored with the last working value
of beacon interval.

The mesh table code walks over hash tables for two purposes. First of
all it's used as part of a netlink dump process, but it is also used
for looking up entries to delete using criteria other than the hash
key.
The second purpose is directly contrary to the design specification
of rhashtable walks. It is only meant for use by netlink dumps.
This is because rhashtable is resizable and you cannot obtain a
stable walk over it during a resize process.
In fact mesh's use of rhashtable for dumping is bogus too. Rather
than using rhashtable walk's iterator to keep track of the current
position, it always converts the current position to an integer
which defeats the purpose of the iterator.
Therefore this patch converts all uses of rhashtable walk into a
simple linked list.
This patch also adds a new spin lock to protect the hash table
insertion/removal as well as the walk list modifications. In fact
the previous code was buggy as the removals can race with each
other, potentially resulting in a double-free.

Currently rpc_inline_rcv_pages() uses au_rslack to estimate the
size of the upper layer reply header. This is fine for auth flavors
where au_verfsize == au_rslack.
However, some auth flavors have more going on. krb5i for example has
two more words after the verifier, and another blob following the
RPC message. The calculation involving au_rslack pushes the upper
layer reply header too far into the rcv_buf.
au_rslack is still valuable: it's the amount of buffer space needed
for the reply, and is used when allocating the reply buffer. We'll
keep that.
But, add a new field that can be used to properly estimate the
location of the upper layer header in each RPC reply, based on the

Certain NFS results (eg. READLINK) might expect a data payload that
is not an exact multiple of 4 bytes. In this case, XDR encoding
is required to pad that payload so its length on the wire is a
multiple of 4 bytes. The constants that define the maximum size of
each NFS result do not appear to account for this extra word.
In each case where the data payload is to be received into pages:
- 1 word is added to the size of the receive buffer allocated by
call_allocate
- rpc_inline_rcv_pages subtracts 1 word from @hdrsize so that the
extra buffer space falls into the rcv_buf's tail iovec
- If buf->pagelen is word-aligned, an XDR pad is not needed and
is thus removed from the tail

This patch builds on top of the previous patch in the patchset,
which added BPF_LWT_ENCAP_IP mode to bpf_lwt_push_encap. As the
encapping can result in the skb needing to go via a different
interface/route/dst, bpf programs can indicate this by returning
BPF_LWT_REROUTE, which triggers a new route lookup for the skb.
v8 changes: fix kbuild errors when LWTUNNEL_BPF is builtin, but
IPV6 is a module: as LWTUNNEL_BPF can only be either Y or N,
call IPV6 routing functions only if they are built-in.
v9 changes:
- fixed a kbuild test robot compiler warning;
- call IPV6 routing functions via ipv6_stub.

This patch adds handling of GSO packets in bpf_lwt_push_ip_encap()
(called from bpf_lwt_push_encap):
* IPIP, GRE, and UDP encapsulation types are deduced by looking
into iphdr->protocol or ipv6hdr->next_header;
* SCTP GSO packets are not supported (as bpf_skb_proto_4_to_6
and similar do);
* UDP_L4 GSO packets are also not supported (although they are
not blocked in bpf_skb_proto_4_to_6 and similar), as
skb_decrease_gso_size() will break it;
* SKB_GSO_DODGY bit is set.
Note: it may be possible to support SCTP and UDP_L4 gso packets;
but as these cases seem to be not well handled by other
tunneling/encapping code paths, the solution should
be generic enough to apply to all tunneling/encapping code.
v8 changes:
- make sure that if GRE or UDP encap is detected, there is
enough of pushed bytes to cover both IP[v6] + GRE|UDP headers;
- do not reject double-encapped packets;
- whitelist TCP GSO packets rather than block SCTP GSO and
UDP GSO.

Implement BPF_LWT_ENCAP_IP mode in bpf_lwt_push_encap BPF helper.
It enables BPF programs (specifically, BPF_PROG_TYPE_LWT_IN and
BPF_PROG_TYPE_LWT_XMIT prog types) to add IP encapsulation headers
to packets (e.g. IP/GRE, GUE, IPIP).
This is useful when thousands of different short-lived flows should be
encapped, each with different and dynamically determined destination.
Although lwtunnels can be used in some of these scenarios, the ability
to dynamically generate encap headers adds more flexibility, e.g.
when routing depends on the state of the host (reflected in global bpf
maps).
v7 changes:
- added a call skb_clear_hash();
- removed calls to skb_set_transport_header();
- refuse to encap GSO-enabled packets.
v8 changes:
- fix build errors when LWT is not enabled.
Note: the next patch in the patchset with deal with GSO-enabled packets,
which are currently rejected at encapping attempt.

This patch adds all needed plumbing in preparation to allowing
bpf programs to do IP encapping via bpf_lwt_push_encap. Actual
implementation is added in the next patch in the patchset.
Of note:
- bpf_lwt_push_encap can now be called from BPF_PROG_TYPE_LWT_XMIT
prog types in addition to BPF_PROG_TYPE_LWT_IN;
- if the skb being encapped has GSO set, encapsulation is limited
to IPIP/IP+GRE/IP+GUE (both IPv4 and IPv6);
- as route lookups are different for ingress vs egress, the single
external bpf_lwt_push_encap BPF helper is routed internally to
either bpf_lwt_in_push_encap or bpf_lwt_xmit_push_encap BPF_CALLs,
depending on prog type.

It was caused by SKB_GSO_CB(skb)->csum_start not set in sctp_gso_segment.
sctp_gso_segment() calls skb_segment() with 'feature | NETIF_F_HW_CSUM',
which causes SKB_GSO_CB(skb)->csum_start not to be set in skb_segment().
For TCP/UDP, when feature supports HW_CSUM, CHECKSUM_PARTIAL will be set
and gso_reset_checksum will be called to set SKB_GSO_CB(skb)->csum_start.
So SCTP should do the same as TCP/UDP, to call gso_reset_checksum() when
computing checksum in sctp_gso_segment.

Netfilter/IPVS fixes for net
The following patchset contains Netfilter/IPVS fixes for net:
1) Missing structure initialization in ebtables causes splat with
32-bit user level on a 64-bit kernel, from Francesco Ruggeri.
2) Missing dependency on nf_defrag in IPVS IPv6 codebase, from
Andrea Claudi.
3) Fix possible use-after-free from release path of target extensions.

- Recover some instruction count because I'm about to introduce a
few xdr_inline_decode call sites
- Replace dprintk() call sites with trace points
- Reduce the hot path so it fits in fewer cachelines
I've also renamed it rpc_decode_header() to match everything else
in the RPC client.

Enable distributions to enforce the rejection of ancient and
insecure Kerberos enctypes in the kernel's RPCSEC_GSS
implementation. These are the single-DES encryption types that
were deprecated in 2012 by RFC 6649.
Enctypes that were deprecated more recently (by RFC 8429) remain
fully supported for now because they are still likely to be widely
used.

tsh_size was added to accommodate transports that send a pre-amble
before each RPC message. However, this assumes the pre-amble is
fixed in size, which isn't true for some transports. That makes
tsh_size not very generic.
Also I'd like to make the estimation of RPC send and receive
buffer sizes more precise. tsh_size doesn't currently appear to be
accounted for at all by call_allocate.
Therefore let's just remove the tsh_size concept, and make the only
transports that have a non-zero tsh_size employ a direct approach.
