The lux_val returned from tsl2583_get_lux can potentially be zero,
so check for this to avoid a division by zero and an overflowed
gain_trim_val.
Fixes clang scan-build warning:
drivers/iio/light/tsl2583.c:345:40: warning: Either the
condition 'lux_val<0' is redundant or there is division

During commit 067fda1c06 ("iio: hid-sensors: move triggered buffer
setup into hid_sensor_setup_trigger"), the
iio_triggered_buffer_{setup,cleanup}() functions got moved under the
hid-sensor-trigger module.
The above change works fine, if any of the sensors get built. However, when
only the common hid-sensor-trigger module gets built (and none of the
drivers), then the IIO_TRIGGERED_BUFFER symbol isn't selected/enforced.
Previously, each driver would enforce/select the IIO_TRIGGERED_BUFFER
symbol. With this change the HID_SENSOR_IIO_TRIGGER (for the
hid-sensor-trigger module) will enforce that IIO_TRIGGERED_BUFFER gets
selected.
All HID sensor drivers select the HID_SENSOR_IIO_TRIGGER symbol. So, this
change removes the IIO_TRIGGERED_BUFFER enforcement from each driver.

Commit 2e2366c2d1 ("iio: cros_ec: unify hw fifo attributes into the core file")
should be reverted as it set buffer extended attributes at
the wrong place. However, to revert it will requires to revert more
commits:
commit 165aea80e2 ("iio: cros_ec: use devm_iio_triggered_buffer_setup_ext()")
commit 21232b4456 ("iio: buffer: remove iio_buffer_set_attrs() helper")).
and we would still have conflict with more recent development.
commit ee708e6baa ("iio: buffer: introduce support for attaching more IIO buffers")
Instead, this commit reverts the first 2 commits without re-adding
iio_buffer_set_attrs() and set the buffer extended attributes at the
right place:
1. Instead of adding has_fw_fifo, deduct it from the configuration:
- EC must support FIFO (EC_FEATURE_MOTION_SENSE_FIFO) set.
- sensors send data a regular interval (accelerometer, gyro,
magnetomer, barometer, light sensor).
- "Legacy accelerometer" is only present on EC without FIFO, so we don't
need to set buffer attributes.
2. devm_iio_triggered_buffer_setup_ext() does not need to be called when
EC does not support FIFO, as there is no FIFO to manage.
3. Use devm_iio_triggered_buffer_setup_ext() when EC has a FIFO to
specify the buffer extended attributes.

No functional change has been made with this patch. The main intent here
is to reduce code repetition of getting sensitivity attribute.
In the current implementation, sensor_hub_input_get_attribute_info() is
called from multiple drivers to get attribute info for sensitivity
field. Moving this to common place will avoid code repetition.

All drivers that already call devm_iio_kfifo_allocate() &
iio_device_attach_buffer() are simple to convert to
iio_device_attach_kfifo_buffer() in a single go.
This change does that; the unwind order is preserved.
What is important, is that the devm_iio_kfifo_buffer_setup() be called
after the indio_dev->modes is assigned, to make sure that
INDIO_BUFFER_SOFTWARE flag is set and not overridden by the assignment to
indio_dev->modes.
Also, the INDIO_BUFFER_SOFTWARE has been removed from the assignments of
'indio_dev->modes' because it is set by devm_iio_kfifo_buffer_setup().

One of a class of bugs pointed out by Lars in a recent review.
iio_push_to_buffers_with_timestamp() assumes the buffer used is aligned
to the size of the timestamp (8 bytes). This is not guaranteed in
this driver which uses an array of smaller elements on the stack.
As Lars also noted this anti pattern can involve a leak of data to
userspace and that indeed can happen here. We close both issues by
moving to a suitable structure in the iio_priv()
This data is allocated with kzalloc() so no data can leak apart
from previous readings.
A local unsigned int variable is used for the regmap call so it
is clear there is no potential issue with writing into the padding
of the structure.

When VCNL4035 is enabled and IIO_BUFFER is disabled, it results in the
following Kbuild warning:
WARNING: unmet direct dependencies detected for IIO_TRIGGERED_BUFFER
Depends on [n]: IIO [=y] && IIO_BUFFER [=n]
Selected by [y]:
- VCNL4035 [=y] && IIO [=y] && I2C [=y]
The reason is that VCNL4035 selects IIO_TRIGGERED_BUFFER without depending
on or selecting IIO_BUFFER while IIO_TRIGGERED_BUFFER depends on
IIO_BUFFER. This can also fail building the kernel.
Honor the kconfig dependency to remove unmet direct dependency warnings
and avoid any potential build failures.

Replace of_property_read_u32() with device_property_read_u32(),
when reading the amstaos,cover-comp-gain.This opens up the
possibility of passing the properties during platform instantiation
of the device by a suitable populated struct property_entry.
Additionally, a minor change in logic is added to remove the
of_node present check.

Add i2c_device_id table for the vcnl4035 driver,
enabling device instantiation using i2c_new_client_device()
or from userspace in cases where device-tree based description
is not possible now, like device(s) on a gbphy i2c adapter
created by greybus.

The intent here is to minimize the use of iio_buffer_set_attrs(). Since we
are planning to add support for multiple IIO buffers per IIO device, the
issue has to do with:
1. Accessing 'indio_dev->buffer' directly (as is done with
'iio_buffer_set_attrs(indio_dev->buffer, <attrs>)').
2. The way that the buffer attributes would get handled or expanded when
there are more buffers per IIO device. Current a sysfs kobj_type expands
into a 'device' object that expands into an 'iio_dev' object.
We will need to change this, so that the sysfs attributes for IIO
buffers expand into IIO buffers at some point.
Right now, the current IIO framework works fine for the
'1 IIO device == 1 IIO buffer' case (that is now).

One of a class of bugs pointed out by Lars in a recent review.
iio_push_to_buffers_with_timestamp assumes the buffer used is aligned
to the size of the timestamp (8 bytes). This is not guaranteed in
this driver which uses a 24 byte array of smaller elements on the stack.
As Lars also noted this anti pattern can involve a leak of data to
userspace and that indeed can happen here. We close both issues by
moving to a suitable array in the iio_priv() data with alignment
explicitly requested. This data is allocated with kzalloc so no
data can leak appart from previous readings.
Depending on the enabled channels, the location of the timestamp
can be at various aligned offsets through the buffer. As such we
any use of a structure to enforce this alignment would incorrectly
suggest a single location for the timestamp. Comments adjusted to
express this clearly in the code.

Here are a number of Staging and IIO driver fixes for 5.9-rc5.
The majority of these are IIO driver fixes, to resolve a timestamp issue
that was recently found to affect a bunch of IIO drivers.
The other fixes in here are:
- small IIO driver fixes
- greybus driver fix
- counter driver fix (came in through the IIO fixes tree)
All of these have been in linux-next for a while with no reported
issues.

We found some sensors which are much slower (20% at room temperature)
than nominal. According to the data sheet, up to 27% is possible. Now I
add 33% to the nominal time out, hopefully this is enough.

Support for AMS AS73211 JENCOLOR(R) Digital XYZ Sensor.
This driver has no built-in trigger. In order for making triggered
measurements, an external (software) trigger driver like
iio-trig-hrtimer or iio-trig-sysfs is required.
The sensor supports single and continuous measurement modes. The latter
is not used by design as this would require tight timing synchronization
between hardware and driver without much benefit.

One of a class of bugs pointed out by Lars in a recent review.
iio_push_to_buffers_with_timestamp assumes the buffer used is aligned
to the size of the timestamp (8 bytes). This is not guaranteed in
this driver which uses an array of smaller elements on the stack.
Here we use a structure on the stack. The driver already did an
explicit memset so no data leak was possible.
Forced alignment of ts is not strictly necessary but probably makes
the code slightly less fragile.
Note there has been some rework in this driver of the years, so no
way this will apply cleanly all the way back.

One of a class of bugs pointed out by Lars in a recent review.
iio_push_to_buffers_with_timestamp assumes the buffer used is aligned
to the size of the timestamp (8 bytes). This is not guaranteed in
this driver which uses a 16 byte array of smaller elements on the stack.
As Lars also noted this anti pattern can involve a leak of data to
userspace and that indeed can happen here. We close both issues by
moving to a suitable structure in the iio_priv().
This data is allocated with kzalloc so no data can leak appart
from previous readings.
It is necessary to force the alignment of ts to avoid the padding
on x86_32 being different from 64 bit platorms (it alows for
4 bytes aligned 8 byte types.
