This commit fixes two nits, but it does not generate any change to binary
because of the optimization of gcc.
- use `count` instead of `channels->combined_count`
- change return type from `int` to `bool`
Also add spaces and change macro order in OR assignment to make the code
easier to read.

ENA logs are adjusted to display the full ENA representation to
distinct each ENA device in case of multiple interfaces.
Using netdev_err/warn and dev_info functions for logging provides
uniform printing with clear distinction of the device and interface.
This patch changes all printing in ena_com files to use netev_* logging
functions except for messages of info level. Log functions of that level
would be printed with dev_info because of the early stage they are
called in when net_device struct isn't yet registered.
To allow using netdev_* functions in all ena_com functions, a pointer to
the net_device was added to ena_com_dev struct.
The patch also adds some log messages to make driver debugging easier.

The patch changes the maximum number of RX/TX queues it advertises to
the kernel (via alloc_etherdev_mq()) from a value received from the
device to a constant value which is the minimum between 128 and the
number of CPUs in the system.
By allocating the net_device struct with a constant number of queues,
the driver is able to allocate it at a much earlier stage, before
calling any ena_com functions. This would allow to make all log prints
in ena_com to use netdev_* log functions instead or current pr_* ones.
Note:
netdev_* prints in ena_com functions that are called before
net_device registration in ena_probe() might print messages that are
a bit ugly (with strings like "(unnamed net_device) (uninitialized)").
However we decided to use netdev_* prints in these functions anyway,
for the sake of getting better messages later, when ena_com functions
are called after ena_probe() form other parts of the driver.

Add napi_id to the xdp_rxq_info structure, and make sure the XDP
socket pick up the napi_id in the Rx path. The napi_id is used to find
the corresponding NAPI structure for socket busy polling.

This patch fixes two lines in which the rx_offset received by the device
wasn't taken into account:
- prefetch function:
In our driver the copied data would reside in
rx_info->page + rx_headroom + rx_offset
so the prefetch function is changed accordingly.
- setting page_offset to zero for descriptors > 1:
for every descriptor but the first, the rx_offset is zero. Hence
the page_offset value should be set to rx_headroom.
The previous implementation changed the value of rx_info after
the descriptor was added to the SKB (essentially providing wrong
page offset).

The ENA driver uses the readless mechanism, which uses DMA, to find
out what the DMA mask is supposed to be.
If DMA is used without setting the dma_mask first, it causes the
Intel IOMMU driver to think that ENA is a 32-bit device and therefore
disables IOMMU passthrough permanently.
This patch sets the dma_mask to be ENA_MAX_PHYS_ADDR_SIZE_BITS=48
before readless initialization in
ena_device_init()->ena_com_mmio_reg_read_request_init(),
which is large enough to workaround the intel_iommu issue.
DMA mask is set again to the correct value after it's received from the
device after readless is initialized.
The patch also changes the driver to use dma_set_mask_and_coherent()
function instead of the two pci_set_dma_mask() and
pci_set_consistent_dma_mask() ones. Both methods achieve the same
effect.

After request id is checked in validate_rx_req_id() its value is still
used in the line
rx_ring->free_ids[next_to_clean] =
rx_ring->ena_bufs[i].req_id;
even if it was found to be out-of-bound for the array free_ids.
The patch moves the request id to an earlier stage in the napi routine and
makes sure its value isn't used if it's found out-of-bounds.

linux/netdevice.h is included in very many places, touching any
of its dependecies causes large incremental builds.
Drop the linux/ethtool.h include, linux/netdevice.h just needs
a forward declaration of struct ethtool_ops.
Fix all the places which made use of this implicit include.

After running Sparse checker on the driver using
make C=1 M=drivers/net/ethernet/amazon/ena
the only error that is thrown is:

This patch fixes this warning, thus making our driver free (for now) of

The formal name changes to "ENA_ADMIN_RSS_INDIRECTION_TABLE_CONFIG".
Indirection is the ability to reference "something" using "something else"
instead of the value itself.
Indirection table, as the name implies, is the ability to reference
CPU/Queue value using hash-to-CPU table instead of CPU/Queue itself.
This patch renames the variable keys_num, which describes the number of
words in the RSS hash key, to key_parts which makes its purpose clearer
in RSS context.

Capitalize all log strings printed by the ena driver to make their
format uniform across it.
Also fix indentation, spelling mistakes and comments to improve code
readability. This also includes adding comments to macros/enums whose
purpose might be difficult to understand.
Separate some code into functions to make it easier to understand the
purpose of these lines.

Make log prints in ena_netdev use the same log functions as the rest of
the driver.
For the sake of consistency, all prints in ena_netdev file were
converted into netif_* format except where netdev struct isn't yet
defined. For these places, dev_* log functions are used (similar to
the patch for ena_com files).
This commit leaves some corner cases which would be changed in a
future patch.

When using XDP every ingress packet is passed to an eBPF (xdp) program
which returns an action for this packet.
This patch adds counters for the number of times each such action was
received. It also counts all the invalid actions received from the eBPF
program.

The new metrics provide granular visibility along multiple network
dimensions and enable troubleshooting and remediation of issues caused
by instances exceeding network performance allowances.
The new statistics can be queried using ethtool command.

The type of all stat fields is u64, therefore when iterating over stat
fields in a stats struct, it makes sense to use an offset in 64 bit
resolution. Doing so allows us to drop some of the casting that is
currently used when referencing stats.

Most statistics in ena driver are incremented, meaning that a stat's
value is a sum of all increases done to it since driver/queue
initialization.
This patch makes all statistics this way, effectively making missed_tx
statistic incremental.
Also added a comment regarding rx_drops and tx_drops to make it
clearer how these counters are calculated.

The ena_del_napi_in_range() function unregisters the napi handler for
rings in a given range.
This function had the following WARN_ON macro:
WARN_ON(ENA_IS_XDP_INDEX(adapter, i) &&
adapter->ena_napi[i].xdp_ring);
This macro prints the call stack if the expression inside of it is
true [1], but the expression inside of it is the wanted situation.
The expression checks whether the ring has an XDP queue and its index
corresponds to a XDP one.
This patch changes the expression to
!ENA_IS_XDP_INDEX(adapter, i) && adapter->ena_napi[i].xdp_ring
which indicates an unwanted situation.
Also, change the structure of the function. The napi handler is
unregistered for all rings, and so there's no need to check whether the
index is an XDP index or not. By removing this check the code becomes
much more readable.

The reset work is scheduled by the timer routine whenever it
detects that a device reset is required (e.g. when a keep_alive signal
is missing).
When releasing device resources in ena_destroy_device() the driver
cancels the scheduling of the timer routine without destroying the reset
work explicitly.
This creates the following bug:
The driver is suspended and the ena_suspend() function is called
-> This function calls ena_destroy_device() to free the net device
resources
-> The driver waits for the timer routine to finish
its execution and then cancels it, thus preventing from it
to be called again.
If, in its final execution, the timer routine schedules a reset,
the reset routine might be called afterwards,and a redundant call to
ena_restore_device() would be made.
By changing the reset routine we allow it to read the device's state
accurately.
This is achieved by checking whether ENA_FLAG_TRIGGER_RESET flag is set
before resetting the device and making both the destruction function and
the flag check are under rtnl lock.
The ENA_FLAG_TRIGGER_RESET is cleared at the end of the destruction
routine. Also surround the flag check with 'likely' because
we expect that the reset routine would be called only when
ENA_FLAG_TRIGGER_RESET flag is set.
The destruction of the timer and reset services in __ena_shutoff() have to
stay, even though the timer routine is destroyed in ena_destroy_device().
This is to avoid a case in which the reset routine is scheduled after
free_netdev() in __ena_shutoff(), which would create an access to freed
memory in adapter->flags.

Now that BPF program/link management is centralized in generic net_device
code, kernel code never queries program id from drivers, so
XDP_QUERY_PROG/XDP_QUERY_PROG_HW commands are unnecessary.
This patch removes all the implementations of those commands in kernel, along
the xdp_attachment_query().
This patch was compile-tested on allyesconfig.

New devices add a new hardware acceleration engine, which adds some
restrictions to the driver.
Metadata descriptor must be present for each packet and the maximum
burst size between two doorbells is now limited to a number
advertised by the device.
This patch adds:
1. A handshake protocol between the driver and the device, so the
device will enable the accelerated queues only when both sides
support it.
2. The driver support for the new acceleration engine:
2.1. Send metadata descriptor for each Tx packet.
2.2. Limit the number of packets sent between doorbells.(*)
(*) A previous driver implementation of this feature was comitted in
commit 05d62ca218 ("net: ena: add handling of llq max tx burst size")
however the design of the interface between the driver and device
changed since then. This change is reflected in this commit.

When the ENA device resets to recover from some error state, all LLQ
configuration values are reset to their defaults, because LLQ is
initialized only once during ena_probe().
Changes in this commit:
1. Move the LLQ configuration process into ena_init_device()
which is called from both ena_probe() and ena_restore_device(). This
way, LLQ setup configurations that are different from the default
values will survive resets.
2. Extract the LLQ bar mapping to ena_map_llq_bar(),
and call once in the lifetime of the driver from ena_probe(),
since there is no need to unmap and map the LLQ bar again every reset.
3. Map the LLQ bar if it exists, regardless if initialization of LLQ
placement policy (ENA_ADMIN_PLACEMENT_POLICY_DEV) succeeded
or not. Initialization might fail the first time, falling back to the
ENA_ADMIN_PLACEMENT_POLICY_HOST placement policy, but later succeed
after device reset, in which case the LLQ bar needs to be mapped
already.

Add the rss_configurable_function_key bit to driver_supported_feature.
This bit tells the device that the driver in question supports the
retrieving and updating of RSS function and hash key, and therefore
the device should allow RSS function and key manipulation.
This commit turns on device support for hash key and RSS function
management. Without this commit this feature is turned off at the
device and appears to the user as unsupported.
This commit concludes the following series of already merged commits:

Add support for traffic mirroring, where the hardware reads the
buffer from the instance memory directly.
Traffic Mirroring needs access to the rx buffers in the instance.
To have this access, this patch:
1. Changes the code to map and unmap the rx buffers bidirectionally.
2. Enables the relevant bit in driver_supported_features to indicate
to the FW that this driver supports traffic mirroring.
Rx completion is not generated until mirroring is done to avoid
the situation where the driver changes the buffer before it is
mirrored.

The size of the admin statistics in ena_com_stats_admin is changed
from 32bit to 64bit so to align with the sizes of the other statistics
in the driver (i.e. rx_stats, tx_stats and ena_stats_dev).
This is done as part of an effort to create a unified API to read
statistics.

For an overview of the race created by this patch goto synchronization
label.
In napi busy-poll mode, the kernel invokes the napi handler of the
device repeatedly to poll the NIC's receive queues. This process
repeats until a timeout, specific for each connection, is up.
By polling packets in busy-poll mode the user may gain lower latency
and higher throughput (since the kernel no longer waits for interrupts
to poll the queues) in expense of CPU usage.
Upon completing a napi routine, the driver checks whether
the routine was called by an interrupt handler. If so, the driver
re-enables interrupts for the device. This is needed since an
interrupt routine invocation disables future invocations until
explicitly re-enabled.
The driver avoids re-enabling the interrupts if they were not disabled
in the first place (e.g. if driver in busy mode).
Originally, the driver checked whether interrupt re-enabling is needed
by reading the 'ena_napi->unmask_interrupt' variable. This atomic
variable was set upon interrupt and cleared after re-enabling it.
In the 4.10 Linux version, the 'napi_complete_done' call was changed
so that it returns 'false' when device should not re-enable
interrupts, and 'true' otherwise. The change includes reading the
"NAPIF_STATE_IN_BUSY_POLL" flag to check if the napi call is in
busy-poll mode, and if so, return 'false'.
The driver was changed to re-enable interrupts according to this
routine's return value.
The Linux community rejected the use of the
'ena_napi->unmaunmask_interrupt' variable to determine whether
unmasking is needed, and urged to use napi_napi_complete_done()
return value solely.

As explained, a busy-poll session exists for a specified timeout
value, after which it exits the busy-poll mode and re-enters it later.
This leads to many invocations of the napi handler where
napi_complete_done() false indicates that interrupts should be
re-enabled.
This creates a bug in which the interrupts are re-enabled
unnecessarily.
To reproduce this bug:
1) echo 50 | sudo tee /proc/sys/net/core/busy_poll
2) echo 50 | sudo tee /proc/sys/net/core/busy_read
3) Add counters that check whether
'ena_unmask_interrupt(tx_ring, rx_ring);'
is called without disabling the interrupts in the first
place (i.e. with calling the interrupt routine
ena_intr_msix_io())
Steps 1+2 enable busy-poll as the default mode for new connections.
The busy poll routine rearms the interrupts after every session by
design, and so we need to add an extra check that the interrupts were
masked in the first place.
synchronization:
This patch introduces a race between the interrupt handler
ena_intr_msix_io() and the napi routine ena_io_poll().
Some macros and instruction were added to prevent this race from leaving
the interrupts masked. The following specifies the different race
scenarios in this patch:
1) interrupt handler and napi routine run sequentially
i) interrupt handler is called, sets 'interrupts_masked' flag and
successfully schedules the napi handler via softirq.
In this scenario the napi routine might not see the flag change
for several reasons:
a) The flag is stored in a register by the compiler. For this
case the WRITE_ONCE macro which prevents this.
b) The compiler might reorder the instruction. For this the
smp_wmb() instruction was used which implies a compiler memory
barrier.
c) On archs with weak consistency model (like ARM64) the napi
routine might be scheduled and start running before the flag
STORE instruction is committed to cache/memory. To ensure this
doesn't happen, the smp_wmb() instruction was added. It ensures
that the flag set instruction is committed before scheduling
napi.
ii) compiler reorders the flag's value check in the 'if' with
the flag set in the napi routine.
This scenario is prevented by smp_rmb() call after the flag check.
2) interrupt handler and napi routine run in parallel (can happen when
busy poll routine invokes the napi handler)
i) interrupt handler sets the flag in one core, while the napi
routine reads it in another core.
This scenario also is divided into two cases:
a) napi_complete_done() doesn't finish running, in which case
napi_sched() would just set NAPIF_STATE_MISSED and the napi
routine would reschedule itself without changing the flag's value.
b) napi_complete_done() finishes running. In this case the
napi routine might override the flag's value.
This doesn't present any rise since it later unmasks the
interrupt vector.

With legacy PM, drivers themselves were responsible for managing the
device's power states and takes care of register states.
After upgrading to the generic structure, PCI core will take care of
required tasks and drivers should do only device-specific operations.

This patch fixes two issues with XDP:
1. If the XDP verdict is XDP_ABORTED we break the loop, which results in
us handling one buffer per napi cycle instead of the total budget
(usually 64). To overcome this simply change the xdp_verdict check to
!= XDP_PASS. When the verdict is XDP_PASS, the skb is not expected to
be NULL.
2. Update the residual budget for XDP_DROP and XDP_ABORTED, since
packets are handled in these cases.

When sending very high packet rate, the XDP tx queues can get full and
start dropping packets. In this case we don't free the pages which
results in ena driver draining the system memory.
Fix:
Simply free the pages when necessary.

Make all types of variables that convey the number and sizeof queues to
be u32, for consistency with the API between the driver and device via
ena_admin_defs.h:ena_admin_get_feat_resp.max_queue_ext fields. Current
code sometimes uses int and there are multiple assignments between these
variables with different types.

Both key and func parameters are pointers on the stack.
Setting them to NULL does nothing.
The original intent was to leave the key and func unset in this case,
but for this to happen nothing needs to be done as the calling
function ethtool_get_rxfh() already clears key and func.
This commit removes the above described useless code.

Current code does not allow setting the hash function without
changing the key. This commit enables it.
To achieve this we separate ena_com_get_hash_function() to 2 functions:
ena_com_get_hash_function() - which gets only the hash function, and
ena_com_get_hash_key() - which gets only the hash key.
Also return 0 instead of rc at the end of ena_get_rxfh() since all
previous operations succeeded.

In case the "func" parameter is NULL we now return "-EINVAL".
This shouldn't happen in general, but when it does happen, this is the
proper way to handle it.
We also check func for NULL in the beginning of the function, as there
is no reason to do all the work and realize in the end of the function
it was useless.

Currently when ena_set_hash_function() fails the hash function is
restored to the previous value by calling an admin command to get
the hash function from the device.
In this commit we avoid the admin command, by saving the previous
hash function before calling ena_set_hash_function() and using this
previous value to restore the hash function in case of failure of
ena_set_hash_function().

Currently ENA only provides the PCI remove() handler, used during rmmod
for example. This is not called on shutdown/kexec path; we are potentially
creating a failure scenario on kexec:
(a) Kexec is triggered, no shutdown() / remove() handler is called for ENA;
instead pci_device_shutdown() clears the master bit of the PCI device,
stopping all DMA transactions;
(b) Kexec reboot happens and the device gets enabled again, likely having
its FW with that DMA transaction buffered; then it may trigger the (now
invalid) memory operation in the new kernel, corrupting kernel memory area.
This patch aims to prevent this, by implementing a shutdown() handler
quite similar to the remove() one - the difference being the handling
of the netdev, which is unregistered on remove(), but following the
convention observed in other drivers, it's only detached on shutdown().
This prevents an odd issue in AWS Nitro instances, in which after the 2nd
kexec the next one will fail with an initrd corruption, caused by a wild
DMA write to invalid kernel memory. The lspci output for the adapter
present in my instance is:

last_keep_alive_jiffies is updated in probe and when a keep-alive
event is received. In case the driver times-out on a keep-alive event,
it has high chances of continuously timing-out on keep-alive events.
This is because when the driver recovers from the keep-alive-timeout reset
the value of last_keep_alive_jiffies is very old, and if a keep-alive
event is not received before the next timer expires, the value of
last_keep_alive_jiffies will cause another keep-alive-timeout reset
and so forth in a loop.
Solution:
Update last_keep_alive_jiffies whenever the device is restored after
reset.

Rx req_id is an index in struct ena_eth_io_rx_cdesc_base.
The driver should validate that the Rx req_id it received from
the device is in range [0, ring_size -1]. Failure to do so could
yield to potential memory access violoation.
The validation was mistakenly done when refilling
the Rx submission queue and not in Rx completion queue.

In short the main issue is caused by the fact that the number of queues
is changed using ethtool after ena_probe() has been called and before
ena_up() was executed. Here is the full scenario in detail:
* ena_probe() is called when the driver is loaded, the driver is not up
yet at the end of ena_probe().
* The number of queues is changed -> io_queue_count is changed as well -
ena_up() is not called since the "dev_was_up" boolean in
ena_update_queue_count() is false.
* ena_up() is called by the kernel (it's called asynchronously some
time after ena_probe()). ena_setup_io_intr() is called by ena_up() and
it uses io_queue_count to get the suitable irq lines for each msix
vector. The function ena_request_io_irq() is called right after that
and it uses msix_vecs - This value only changes during ena_probe() and
ena_restore() - to request the irq vectors. This results in "Failed to
request I/O IRQ" error for i > io_queue_count.
Numeric example:
* After ena_probe() io_queue_count = 8, msix_vecs = 9.
* The number of queues changes to 4 -> io_queue_count = 4, msix_vecs = 9.
* ena_up() is executed for the first time:
** ena_setup_io_intr() inits the vectors only up to io_queue_count.
** ena_request_io_irq() calls request_irq() and fails for i = 5.
How to reproduce:
simply run the following commands:
sudo rmmod ena && sudo insmod ena.ko;
sudo ethtool -L eth1 combined 3;
Fix:
Use ENA_MAX_MSIX_VEC(adapter->num_io_queues + adapter->xdp_num_queues)
instead of adapter->msix_vecs. We need to take XDP queues into
consideration as they need to have msix vectors assigned to them as well.
Note that the XDP cannot be attached before the driver is up and running
but in XDP mode the issue might occur when the number of queues changes
right after a reset trigger.
The ENA_MAX_MSIX_VEC simply adds one to the argument since the first msix
vector is reserved for management queue.

Overview:
We don't frequently change the msix vectors throughout the life cycle of
the driver. We do so in two functions: ena_probe() and ena_restore().
ena_probe() is only called when the driver is loaded. ena_restore() on the
other hand is called during device reset / resume operations.
We use num_io_queues for calculating and allocating the number of msix
vectors. At ena_probe() this value is equal to max_num_io_queues and thus
this is not an issue, however ena_restore() might be called after the
number of io queues has changed.
A possible bug scenario is as follows:
* Change number of queues from 8 to 4.
(num_io_queues = 4, max_num_io_queues = 8, msix_vecs = 9,)
* Trigger reset occurs -> ena_restore is called.
(num_io_queues = 4, max_num_io_queues =8 , msix_vecs = 5)
* Change number of queues from 4 to 6.
(num_io_queues = 6, max_num_io_queues = 8, msix_vecs = 5)
* The driver will reset due to failure of check_for_rx_interrupt_queue()
Fix:
This can be easily fixed by always using max_num_io_queues to init the
msix_vecs, since this number won't change as opposed to num_io_queues.

In this commit we revert the part of
commit 1a63443afd ("net/amazon: Ensure that driver version is aligned to the linux kernel"),
which breaks the interface between the ENA driver and FW.
We also replace the use of DRIVER_VERSION with DRIVER_GENERATION
when we bring back the deleted constants that are used in interface with
ENA device FW.
This commit does not change the driver version reported to the user via
ethtool, which remains the kernel version.

comp_ctx can be NULL in a very rare case when an admin command is executed
during the execution of ena_remove().
The bug scenario is as follows:
* ena_destroy_device() sets the comp_ctx to be NULL
* An admin command is executed before executing unregister_netdev(),
this can still happen because our device can still receive callbacks
from the netdev infrastructure such as ethtool commands.
* When attempting to access the comp_ctx, the bug occurs since it's set
to NULL
Fix:
Added a check that comp_ctx is not NULL

As the name suggests ETH_RSS_HASH_NO_CHANGE is received upon changing
the key or indirection table using ethtool while keeping the same hash
function.
Also add a function for retrieving the current hash function from
the ena-com layer.

The function ena_com_ind_tbl_convert_from_device() has an overflow
bug as explained below. Either way, this function is not needed at
all since we don't retrieve the indirection table from the device
at any point which means that this conversion is not needed.
The bug:
The for loop iterates over all io_sq_queues, when passing the actual
number of used queues the io_sq_queues[i].idx equals 0 since they are
uninitialized which results in the following code to be executed till
the end of the loop:
dev_idx_to_host_tbl[0] = i;
This results dev_idx_to_host_tbl[0] in being equal to
ENA_TOTAL_NUM_QUEUES - 1.

The indirection table has the indices of the Rx queues. When we store it
during set indirection operation, we convert the indices to our internal
representation of the indices.
Our internal representation of the indices is: even indices for Tx and
uneven indices for Rx, where every Tx/Rx pair are in a consecutive order
starting from 0. For example if the driver has 3 queues (3 for Tx and 3
for Rx) then the indices are as follows:
0 1 2 3 4 5
Tx Rx Tx Rx Tx Rx
The BUG:
The issue is that when we satisfy a get request for the indirection
table, we don't convert the indices back to the original representation.
The FIX:
Simply apply the inverse function for the indices of the indirection
table after we set it.

The device receives, stores and retrieves the hash function value as bits
and not as their enum value.
The bug:
* In ena_com_set_hash_function() we set
cmd.u.flow_hash_func.selected_func to the bit value of rss->hash_func.
(1 << rss->hash_func)
* In ena_com_get_hash_function() we retrieve the hash function and store
it's bit value in rss->hash_func. (Now the bit value of rss->hash_func
is stored in rss->hash_func instead of it's enum value)
The fix:
This commit fixes the issue by converting the retrieved hash function
values from the device to the matching enum value of the set bit using
ffs(). ffs() finds the first set bit's index in a word. Since the function
returns 1 for the LSB's index, we need to subtract 1 from the returned
value (note that BIT(0) is 1).

On old hardware, getting / setting the hash function is not supported while
gettting / setting the indirection table is.
This commit enables us to still show the indirection table on older
hardwares by setting the hash function and key to NULL.

Bug description:
When running "ethtool -x <if_name>" the key shows up as all zeros.
When we use "ethtool -X <if_name> hfunc toeplitz hkey <some:random:key>" to
set the key and then try to retrieve it using "ethtool -x <if_name>" then
we return the correct key because we return the one we saved.
Bug cause:
We don't fetch the key from the device but instead return the key
that we have saved internally which is by default set to zero upon
allocation.
Fix:
This commit fixes the issue by initializing the key to a random value
using netdev_rss_key_fill().

Current implementation of the driver calls skb_tx_timestamp()to add a
software tx timestamp to the skb, however the software-transmit capability
is not reported in ethtool -T.
This commit updates the ethtool structure to report the software-transmit
capability in ethtool -T using the standard ethtool_op_get_ts_info().
This function reports all software timestamping capabilities (tx and rx),
as well as setting phc_index = -1. phc_index is the index of the PTP
hardware clock device that will be used for hardware timestamps. Since we
don't have such a device in ENA, using the default -1 value is the correct
setting.

"Rounds a time delta in the future (in jiffies) up or down to
(approximately) full seconds. This is useful for timers for which
the exact time they fire does not matter too much, as long as
they fire approximately every X seconds.
By rounding these timers to whole seconds, all such timers will fire
at the same time, rather than at various times spread out. The goal
of this is to have the CPU wake up less, which saves power."
There are 2 parts to this patch:

Part 1:
-------
In our case we need timer_service to be called approximately every
X=1 seconds, and the exact time does not matter, so using round_jiffies()
is the right way to go.
Therefore we add round_jiffies() to the mod_timer() in ena_timer_service().
Part 2:
-------
round_jiffies() is used in check_for_missing_keep_alive() when
getting the jiffies of the expiration of the keep_alive timeout. Here it
is actually a mistake to use round_jiffies() because we want the exact
time when keep_alive should expire and not an approximate rounded time,
which can cause early, false positive, timeouts.
Therefore we remove round_jiffies() in the calculation of
keep_alive_expired() in check_for_missing_keep_alive().

When ethtool -X is called without an hkey, ena_com_fill_hash_function()
is called with key=NULL, which is passed to memcpy causing a crash.
This commit fixes this issue by checking key is not NULL.

Reason for issue:
In stage 3, ethtool userspace calls first the ena_get_coalesce() handler
to get the current value of all properties, and then the ena_set_coalesce()
handler. When ena_get_coalesce() is called the adaptive interrupt
moderation is still on. There is an if in the code that returns the
rx_coalesce_usecs only if the adaptive interrupt moderation is off.
And since it is still on, rx_coalesce_usecs is not set, meaning it
stays 0.
Solution to issue:
Remove this if static interrupt moderation intervals have nothing to do
with dynamic ones.
Issue 2:
--------
Reproduction steps:
1. sudo ethtool -C eth0 adaptive-rx on
2. sudo ethtool -C eth0 rx-usecs 128
3. ethtool -c eth0
expected output: rx-usecs 128
actual output: rx-usecs 0
Reason for issue:
In stage 2, when ena_set_coalesce() is called, the handler tests if
rx adaptive interrupt moderation is on, and if it is, it returns before
getting to the part in the function that sets the rx non-adaptive
interrupt moderation interval.
Solution to issue:
Remove the return from the function when rx adaptive interrupt moderation
is on.
Also cleaned up the fixed code in ena_set_coalesce by grouping together
adaptive interrupt moderation toggling, and using && instead of nested
ifs.

Current default non-adaptive tx interrupt moderation interval is 196 us.
This value is too high and might cause the tx queue to fill up.
In this commit we set the default non-adaptive tx interrupt moderation
interval to 64 us in order to:
1. Reduce the probability of the queue filling-up (when compared to the
current default value of 196 us).
2. Reduce unnecessary tx interrupt overhead (which happens if we set the
default tx interval to 0).
We determined experimentally that 64 us is an optimal value that
reduces interrupt rate by more than 20% without affecting performance.

The first_interrupt field is accessed in ena_intr_msix_io() upon
receiving an interrupt.The rx_ring and tx_ring fields of napi can
be NULL when receiving interrupt for xdp queues. This patch fixes
the issue by moving the field to the ena_napi struct.
