Some old touchpad FWs need to have interrupt cleared before issuing reset
command after updating firmware. We clear interrupt by attempting to read
full report from the controller, and discarding any data read.

The datasheet and application note does not mention an allowed range for
the M09_REGISTER_THRESHOLD parameter. One of our customers needs to set
lower values than 20 and they seem to work just fine on EDT EP0xx0M09 with
T5x06 touch.
So, lacking a known lower limit, we increase the range for thresholds,
and set the lower limit to 0. The documentation is updated accordingly.

Note that the hwtype is compile checked, but not currently stored (the
lockdown code probably won't require it). It is, however, there for
future use.
A bonus is that the hwtype can also be used for grepping.
The intention is for the kernel to ignore or reject attempts to set
annotated module parameters if lockdown is enabled. This applies to
options passed on the boot command line, passed to insmod/modprobe or
direct twiddling in /sys/module/ parameter files.
The module initialisation then needs to handle the parameter not being
set, by (1) giving an error, (2) probing for a value or (3) using a
reasonable default.
What I can't do is just reject a module out of hand because it may
take a hardware setting in the module parameters. Some important
modules, some ipmi stuff for instance, both probe for hardware and
allow hardware to be manually specified; if the driver is aborts with
any error, you don't get any ipmi hardware.
Further, trying to do this entirely in the module initialisation code
doesn't protect against sysfs twiddling.

The userspace xboxdrv driver [0] contains some USB IDs unknown to the
kernel driver. I have created a simple script [1] to extract the missing
devices and add them to xpad.
A quick google search confirmed that all the new devices called
Fightstick/pad are Arcade-type devices [2] where the
MAP_TRIGGERS_TO_BUTTONS option should apply.
There are some similar devices in the existing device table where this
flag is not set, but I did refrain from changing those.

When the kernel is running in secure boot mode, we lock down the kernel to
prevent userspace from modifying the running kernel image. Whilst this
includes prohibiting access to things like /dev/mem, it must also prevent
access by means of configuring driver modules in such a way as to cause a
device to access or modify the kernel image.
To this end, annotate module_param* statements that refer to hardware
configuration and indicate for future reference what type of parameter they
specify. The parameter parser in the core sees this information and can
skip such parameters with an error message if the kernel is locked down.
The module initialisation then runs as normal, but just sees whatever the
default values for those parameters is.
Note that we do still need to do the module initialisation because some
drivers have viable defaults set in case parameters aren't specified and
some drivers support automatic configuration (e.g. PNP or PCI) in addition
to manually coded parameters.
This patch annotates drivers in drivers/input/.

Add a parameter for setting the resolution of xen-kbdfront in order to
be able to cope with a (virtual) frame buffer of arbitrary resolution.
While at it remove the pointless second reading of parameters from
Xenstore in the device connection phase: all parameters are available
during device probing already and that is where they should be read.

When IRQ handling was moved to rmi_driver in 3aeed5b the naming of the
interrupt changed from "rmi4_i2c" to "2-0020" (or similar). This patch
restores the previous behaviour and makes the interrupt easier to identify
in /proc/interrupts.

We should not be forcing edge triggered interrupt, but rather let platform
decide the kind of trigger it needs to use. Also, the driver is not quite
safe with regard to edge-triggered interrupts as it does not try to kick
the controller after requesting/enabling IRQ.

The name field in structure i2c_device_id is 20 characters, and we expect
it to be NULL-terminated, however we are trying to stuff it with 21 bytes
and thus NULL-terminator is lost. This causes issues when one creates
device with name "MICROCHIP_AR1021_I2C" as i2c core cuts off the last "C",
and automatic module loading by alias does not work as result.
The -I2C suffix in the device name is superfluous, we know what bus we are
dealing with, so let's drop it. Also, no other driver uses capitals, and
the manufacturer name is normally not included, except in very rare cases
of incompatible name collisions.

There are several quirky Xbox One pads that depend on initialization
packets that the Microsoft pads don't require. To deal with these,
I've added a mechanism for issuing device-specific initialization
packets using a VID/PID-based quirks list.
For the initial set of init quirks, I have added quirk handling from
Valve's Steam Link xpad driver[0] and the 360Controller project[1] for
macOS to enable some new pads to work properly.
This should enable full functionality on the following quirky pads:

When submitting the support for the ACPI0011 windows tablet keys device I
mapped the "windows" logo homekey to KEY_HOMEPAGE. But this is inconsistent
with how it is done on windows tablets using the old PNP0C40 ACPI device
and it does not match the HUT spec, which says that usage-page 7 usage 0xe3
is "Keyboard Left GUI".
This commit maps usage-page 7 usage 0xe3 to KEY_LEFTMETA fixing this.

gpiod API allows standard way of specifying GPIO polarity and takes it into
account when reading or setting GPIO state. It also allows us to switch to
common way of obtaining GPIO descriptor and away form legacy platform data.

Some form factors (detachables/tablets) may not have a keyboard and
thus user may have to resort to using a defined EC UI to send sysrq(s)

This essentially reverts commit baf28d91e7 ("Input: bma150 - avoid
binding to bma180 if IIO bma180 driver present") and commit ef3714fdbc
("Input: bma150 - extend chip detection for bma180")
Rationale: initially (2012) the GTA04 device using a bma180 chip simply
referenced the bma150 platform driver in its board file [1] which happened
to work in all scenarios that were tested.
When conversion to DT started (2014), we needed to make the driver be still
recognised. Hence we introduced the compatibility to the bma180 chip in
Linux 3.15-rc5 [2] without further checks if it is really 100% compatible.
This worked flawlessly for years with the GTA04 device.
Recently (2016), Hans de Goede pointed out that the chips are not as
similar as they appeared and the driver works with the bma180 for the GTA04
only by good luck. He proposed to remove the bma180 support completely [3],
but we still did need it until we have a replacement. Thus, a conditional
compile was added.
We have now developed a generic iio-input-bridge which works with any 2 or
3 axis iio based accelerometer. It has been tested on GTA04 and Pyra and
works as expected. Therefore we can remove the bma180 support from this
driver completely. User-space API compatibility can be restored by using
the iio-input-bridge.
Maybe it is time to convert the bma150 driver to iio as well and retire the
accelerometer input drivers completely but this is a different story and
task.

The gpio-matrix-keypad driver normally sets inactive columns as inputs
while scanning. This does not work for all hardware, which may require
the inactive columns to be actively driven in order to overcome any
pull-ups/downs on the columns.

Each time the HWMON devices are read (e.g. battery voltage) while the
touchscreen is held pressed, extra pen-up and pen-down events are
generated. This is fixed by avoiding the UP event when the touchscreen is
stopped.

Most of the Synaptics devices are connected through PS/2 and a different
bus (SMBus or HID over I2C). The secondary bus capability is indicated by
the InterTouch bit in extended capability 0x0C.
We only enable the InterTouch device to be created for the laptops
registered with the top software button property or those we know that are
functional. In the future, we might change the default to always rely on
the InterTouch bus. Currently, users can enable/disable the feature with
the psmouse parameter synaptics_intertouch.

This provides glue between PS/2 devices that enumerate the RMI4 devices
and Elan touchpads to the RMI4 (or Elan) SMBus driver.
The SMBus devices keep their PS/2 connection alive. If the initialization
process goes too far (psmouse_activate called), the device disconnects
from the I2C bus and stays on the PS/2 bus, that is why we explicitly
disable PS/2 device reporting (by calling psmouse_deactivate) before
trying to register SMBus companion device.
The HID over I2C devices are enumerated through the ACPI DSDT, and
their PS/2 device also exports the InterTouch bit in the extended
capability 0x0C. However, the firmware keeps its I2C connection open
even after going further in the PS/2 initialization. We don't need
to take extra precautions with those device, especially because they
block their PS/2 communication when HID over I2C is used.

Prepare PS/2 mouse drivers to work with devices that are accessible both
via PS/2 and SMBus, which provides higher bandwidth, and thus suits better
for modern multi-touch devices.
We expect that SMBus drivers will take control over the device, so when
we detect SMBus "protocol" we forego registering input device, or enabling
PS/2 device reports (as it usually makes device unresponsive to access over
SMBus).

Devices connected to serio bus are quite slow, and to improve apparent
speed of resume process, serio core resumes (reconnects) its devices
asynchronously, by posting port reconnect requests to a workqueue.
Unfortunately this means that if there is a dependent device of a given
serio port (for example SMBus part of touchpad connected via both PS/2 and
SMBus), we do not have a good way of ensuring resume order.
This change allows drivers to define "fast reconnect" handlers that would
be called in-line during system resume. Drivers need to ensure that these
handlers are truly "fast".

The driver doesn't have a struct of_device_id table but supported devices
are registered via Device Trees. This is working on the assumption that a
I2C device registered via OF will always match a legacy I2C device ID and
that the MODALIAS reported will always be of the form i2c:<device>.
But this could change in the future so the correct approach is to have an
OF device ID table if the devices are registered via OF.
The compatible strings don't have a vendor prefix because that's how it's
used currently, and changing this will be a Device Tree ABI break.

Replace the open coded registration of the cdev and dev with the
new device_add_cdev() helper in evdev, joydev and mousedev. The helper
replaces a common pattern by taking the proper reference against the
parent device and adding both the cdev and the device.

Windows 10 tablets with gpio buttons will typically use the ACPI 6.0
Generic Button Device with a HID of ACPI0011 for these buttons.
The ACPI description for these in the ACPI0011 devices _DSD object uses
something resembling HID descriptors, except that instead of indicating
a bit index into a HID input report, the index indicates the _CRS index
for the GPIO.
The use of 1 interrupt per button, some of which need to be wakeup
sources, instead of using input reports makes it impossible to use the
HID subsystem for this.
This really is just another gpio-keys input device with the platform
data described in ACPI, so this commit adds parsing for this new way
to describe gpio-keys to the soc_button_array driver.

Since gpiod_count() does not return 0 anymore, we don't need to shadow
its error code and would safely propagate to the user.
While here, replace second parameter by NULL in order to prevent side
effects on _DSD enabled firmware.

EeeBook X205TA is yet another ASUS device with a special touchpad
firmware that needs to be accounted for during initialization, or
else the touchpad will go into an invalid state upon suspend/resume.
Adding the appropriate ic_type and product_id check fixes the problem.

TUXEDO BU1406 does not implement active multiplexing mode properly,
and takes around 550 ms in i8042_set_mux_mode(). Given that the
device does not have external AUX port, there is no downside in
disabling the MUX mode.

The gpiolib-acpi code is becoming more strict and connection-IDs
may only be used with devices which have a _DSD with matching IDs
in there. Since the soc_button_array ACPI binding is pure index
based pass in NULL as connection-ID to avoid the more strict cheks
resulting in gpiod_count and gpiod_get_index not returning any gpios.

On some systems (Intel tablets with axp288 pmic) the powerbutton is
also connected to a gpio pin of the SoC, advertised through the
"INTCFD9" / "PNP0C40" acpi device. This leads to double reporting
of powerbutton events, which is undesirable, so one driver needs
to not report input events in this case.
Since the soc_button_array driver for the "PNP0C40" acpi device
also handles wake from suspend on these tablets and since the
axp20x-pel driver requires relative expensive i2c accrsses,
it is best for the axp20x-pek driver to not register an input device
in this case.
Note that this commit leaves the axp20x-driver bound to the
device, rather then returning -ENODEV, this is done so that the
sysfs attributes it offers are kept around.

Move all input device related initialization into a new
axp20x_pek_probe_input_device helper function.
This introduces one functional change, the input device is now
registered before the sysfs attr get registered. This is not a problem
as the sysfs attr are to configure some long press settings (forced
poweroff) in the hardware and do not interact with the input_device.
This is a preparation patch for not always registering the input dev.

Some platform drivers use devm_input_allocate_device() together with
sparse_keymap_setup() in their .probe callbacks. While using the former
simplifies error handling, using the latter necessitates calling
sparse_keymap_free() in the error path and upon module unloading to
avoid leaking the copy of the keymap allocated by sparse_keymap_setup().
To help prevent such leaks and enable simpler error handling, make
sparse_keymap_setup() use devm_kmemdup() to create the keymap copy so
that it gets automatically freed.
This works for both managed and non-managed input devices as the keymap
is freed after the last reference to the input device is dropped.
Note that actions previously taken by sparse_keymap_free(), i.e. taking
the input device's mutex and zeroing its keycode and keycodemax fields,
are now redundant because the managed keymap will always be freed after
the input device is unregistered.

INPUT_PROP_BUTTONPAD is currently only set through the platform data.
The RMI4 header doc says that this property is there to force the
buttonpad property, so we also need to detect it by looking at
the exported buttons count.

With the switch to devm, there is no need for ad7879_probe() to return the
touchscreen structure, we can use plain error code. This also fixes issue
introduced with devm concersion, where we returned 0 on success (which
worked OK since IS_ERR(0) would not trigger, but was not correct
regardless).

Now that %z is standartised in C99 there is no reason to support %Z.
Unlike %L it doesn't even make format strings smaller.
Use BUILD_BUG_ON in a couple ATM drivers.
In case anyone didn't notice lib/vsprintf.o is about half of SLUB which
is in my opinion is quite an achievement. Hopefully this patch inspires
someone else to trim vsprintf.c more.

correctly reflect the current in-kernel consumer of a pin taken
using this abstraction. This is a treewide change also updating all
users.
- Rename devm_get_gpiod_from_child() to
devm_fwnode_get_gpiod_from_child() to reflect the fact that this
function is operating on a fwnode object. This is a treewide change
also updating all users.
- Make it possible to take multiple GPIOs in a single hog of device
tree hogs.
- The refactorings switching GPIO chips to use the .set_config()
callback using standard pin control properties and providing a
backend into the pin control subsystem that were also merged into
the pin control tree naturally appear here too.
Testing instrumentation:
- A whole slew of cleanups and improvements to the mockup GPIO
driver. We now have an extended userspace test exercising the
subsystem, and we can inject interrupts etc from userspace to fully
test the core GPIO functionality.

Previously, tsc2007 would report as ABS_PRESSURE:
0 for no pressure (resistance infinite)
high value for soft pressure (high resistance)
low value for firm pressure (lower resistance)
This does not matter for most applications (e.g. GUI, Menu, Scrolling etc.)
where the ABS_PRESSURE is ignored and only BTN_TOUCH is processed to detect
screen taps.
Only some special graphics applications read the pressure channel and they
will be mixed up by this non-monotonic relation.
So we fix it to become:
0 for no pressure (resistance infinite)
low value for soft pressure (high resistance)
high value for firm pressure (lower resistance)
While this patch changes the values reported to userspace, ABS_PRESSURE is
used rarely by userspace. Most software only relies on BTN_TOUCH (boolean),
which is not affected by this patch. Some graphics software makes use of
the interface and does not work correctly with the currently used inverted
behaviour.

The I2C core always reports a MODALIAS of the form i2c:<foo> even if the
device was registered via OF, this means that exporting the OF device ID
table device aliases in the module is not needed. But in order to change
how the core reports modaliases to user-space, it's better to export it.
Before this patch:

The tsc2007 chip not only has a resistive touch screen controller but
also an external AUX adc imput which can be used for an ambient
light sensor, battery voltage monitoring or any general purpose.
Additionally it can measure the chip temperature.
This extension provides an iio interface for these adc channels.
Since it is not wasting much resources and is very straightforward,
we simply provide all other adc channels as optional iio interfaces
as weel. This can be used for debugging or special applications.
This patch also splits the tsc2007 driver in several source files:
tsc2007.h -- constants, structs and stubs
tsc2007_core.c -- functional parts of the original driver
tsc2007_iio.c -- the optional iio stuff
Makefile magic allows to conditionally link the iio stuff
if CONFIG_IIO=y or =m in a way that it works with
CONFIG_TOUCHSCREEN_TSC2007=m.

Instead of supporting legacy platform data (of which we have no mainline
users) and OF-based properties, let's switch to generic device properties.
This will still allow legacy boards to use the driver (by defining property
sets and attaching them to the drivers) and will simplify probe and make
driver usable on ACPI-based systems as well.

In case of an optional regulator missing, regulator core will return
ERR_PTR(-ENOENT) and not NULL, so the check for missing regulator is
incorrect. Also, the regulator is not optional, it may simply be missing
from platform description, so let's use devm_regulator_get() and rely on
regulator core to give us dummy supply when real one is not available.

Postpone axis initialization to the first open instead of doing it
in joydev_connect. This is to make sure the generated startup events
are representative of the current joystick state rather than what
it was when joydev_connect() was called, potentially much earlier.
Once the first user is connected to joydev node we'll be updating
joydev->abs[] values and subsequent clients will be getting correct
initial states as well.
This solves issues with joystick driven menus that start scrolling
up each time they are started, until the user moves the joystick to
generate events. In emulator menu setups where the menu program is
restarted every time the game exits, the repeated need to move the
joystick to stop the unintended scrolling gets old rather quickly...

On the latest series of ThinkPads, the button events for the TrackPoint
are reported through the touchpad itself as opposed to the TrackPoint
device. In order to report these buttons properly, we need to forward
them to the TrackPoint device and notify psmouse to send the button
presses/releases.

The tracksticks on the Lenovo thinkpads have their buttons connected
through the touchpad device. We already fixed that in synaptics.c, but
when we switch the device into RMI4 mode to have proper support, the
pass-through functionality can't deal with them easily.
We add a new PS/2 flag and protocol designed for psmouse. The RMI4 F03
pass-through can then emit a special set of commands to notify psmouse the
state of the buttons.
This patch implements the protocol in psmouse, while an other will
do the same for rmi4-f03.

On some newer boards using mkbp we're hooking up non-matrix buttons and
switches to the EC but NOT to the main application processor.
Let's add kernel support to handle this. Rather than creating a whole
new input driver, we'll continue to use cros_ec_keyb and just report the
new keys.

Set the LED_CORE_SUSPENDRESUME flag on our LED device so the
LED state will be automatically restored by LED core on resume.
Since Xbox One pads stop flashing only when reinitialized, we'll
send them the initialization packet so they calm down too.

The Xbox One S requires an ack to its mode button report, otherwise it
continuously retransmits the report. This makes the mode button appear to

If device is supposed to send absolute events (i.e. EV_ABS bit is set in
dev->evbit) but dev->absinfo is not allocated, then the driver has done
something wrong, and we should not register such device. Otherwise we'll
crash later, when driver tries to send absolute event.

The MPU3050 driver in the input subsystem has been superseded by a proper
IIO driver found in drivers/iio/gyro/mpu3050*.
Patches have been submitted to remove all defconfig and related references
to the old driver and replace this input driver with the IIO driver.
So delete the input driver. Input was never a good fit for sensors anyway.

Currently all users of fwnode_get_named_gpiod() have no way to
specify a label for the GPIO. So GPIOs listed in debugfs are shown
with label "?". With this change a proper label is used.
Also adjust all users so they can pass a label, properly retrieved
from device tree properties.

Make fwnode_get_named_gpiod() consistent with the rest of
gpiod_get() like API, i.e. configure GPIO pin immediately after
request.

This adds an optional regulator to the pwm-beeper device. This regulator
acts as an amplifier. The amplifier is only enabled while beeping in order
to reduce power consumption.
Tested on LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3, which has a speaker connected to PWM through
an amplifier.

This suppress printing an error message when pwm_get returns -EPROBE_DEFER.
Otherwise you get a bunch of noise in the kernel log.

Usually userspace sends SND_BELL and SND_TONE events, and by the time
pwm_beeper_suspend() runs userpsace is already frozen, but theoretically
in-kernel users may send these events too, and that may cause
pwm_beeper_event() scheduling another work after we canceled it.
Let's introduce a "suspended" flag and check it in pwm_beeper_event() to
avoid this race.

gpio-keys input devices created by the soc_button_array driver are
configured with key-codes based on ACPI provided information.
Unfortunately on some tablets this info is wrong, and we need to have
a quirk to fix things up.
Add support for input_setkeycode to the gpio-keys driver, so that
the existing udev hwdb mechanism can be used to fix things up on these
tablets.

The soc_button_array driver was initializing (kzalloc) the
debounce_interval value to 0, leading to no debouncing at all,
while the buttons are simple mechanical switches.
This commit sets debounce_interval to 50ms to avoid spurious button
press reports both on press and release of the button. Note 50ms may
seem like a lot but soc_button_array is typically used with cheap
tablets, with not so great buttons. I tried 10ms on my tablet and it
is not enough, where as 50ms works well.

This patch adds support for the TM2 touch key and led functionality.
The driver interfaces with userspace through an input device and reports
KEY_PHONE and KEY_BACK event types. LED brightness can be controlled by
"/sys/class/leds/tm2-touchkey/brightness".

The TCA8418 might be used using different interrupt triggers on various
boards. This is not working so far because the current code forces a
falling edge trigger.
The device tree already provides a trigger type, so let's use whatever it
sets up, and since we can be loaded without DT, keep the old behaviour for
the non-DT case.

ulseep_range() uses hrtimers and provides no advantage over msleep()
for larger delays. Fix up the 50ms delays here to use msleep() and
reduce the load on the hrtimer subsystem.

Using counter based retry loops for peripherals results in the delay
being significantly overrun during high-load situations where delay
functions tend to be vary imprecise and overrun there timeouts. So
condition the termination on the actual condition of 2s for the
re-calibration to have been successful.
As this is a very long delay there is no advantage in using
high-resolution timers thus switching this to msleep().

This driver currently only supports legacy platform data probe. This
change adds device tree support and gets rid of platform data probe code
since no one is actually using mpr121 platform data in the mainline.
The device tree property parsing code is based on the work of
atmel_captouch driver.

This driver reports input events on their interrupts which are triggered
by the sensor's status register changes. But only single bit change is
reported in the interrupt handler. So if there are multiple bits are
changed at almost the same time, other press or release events are ignored.
This fixes it by detecting all changed bits in the status register.

msleep(1~20) may not do what the caller intends, and will often sleep
longer (~20 ms actual sleep for any value given in the 1~20ms range). This
is not the desired behaviour for many cases like device resume time, device
suspend time, device enable time, retry logic, etc. Thus, change msleep to
usleep_range for precise wakeups.

The order of endpoints is well defined on official Xbox pads, but
we have found at least one 3rd-party pad that doesn't follow the
standard ("Titanfall 2 Xbox One controller" 0e6f:0165).
Fortunately, we get lucky with this specific pad because it uses
endpoint addresses that differ only by direction. We know that
there are other pads out where this is not true, so let's go
ahead and fix this.

currently the controllers get the same product id as the wireless
receiver. However the controllers actually have their own product id.
The patch makes the driver expose the same product id as the windows
driver.
This improves compatibility when running applications with WINE.

ktime_set(S,N) was required for the timespec storage type and is still
useful for situations where a Seconds and Nanoseconds part of a time value
needs to be converted. For anything where the Seconds argument is 0, this
is pointless and can be replaced with a simple assignment.

The error message "Can't read CTR while initializing i8042" appears on
Cherry Trail-based devices at each boot time:
i8042: PNP: No PS/2 controller found. Probing ports directly.
i8042: Can't read CTR while initializing i8042
i8042: probe of i8042 failed with error -5
This happens because we historically do not trust firmware on X86 and,
while noting that PNP does not show keyboard or mouse devices, we still
charge ahead and try to probe the controller. Let's relax this a bit and if
results of PNP probe agree with the results of platform
initialization/quirks conclude that there is, in fact, no i8042.
While at it, let's avoid using x86_platform.i8042_detect() and instead
abort execution early if platform indicates that it can not possibly have
i8042 (x86_platform.legacy.i8042 equals X86_LEGACY_I8042_PLATFORM_ABSENT).

decide whether we should continue initialization of i8042 driver or not, so
the probes can not be asynchronous.
Also, it is not a good idea to unbind either of the PNP devices while i8042
is running, so let's disable bind/unbind for the PNP drivers through sysfs
and rely on i8042 cleaning after itself properly. User can still unbind and
rebind entire i8042 and that will take care of PNP drivers as well.

msleep(1~20) may not do what the caller intends, and will often sleep longer.
(~20 ms actual sleep for any value given in the 1~20ms range)
This is not the desired behaviour for many cases like device resume time,
device suspend time, device enable time, retry logic, etc.
Thus, change msleep to usleep_range for precise wakeups.

We were assigning I2C bus controller instead of client as parent device.
Besides being logically wrong, it messed up with devm handling of input
device. As a result we were leaving input device and event node behind
after rmmod-ing the driver, which lead to a kernel oops if one were to
access the event node later.
Let's remove the assignment and rely on devm_input_allocate_device() to
set it up properly for us.

Semantics of NR_IRQS is different on machines with SPARSE_IRQ option
disabled or enabled, in the latter case IRQs are allocated starting
at least from the value specified by NR_IRQS and going upwards, so
the check of (irq >= NR_IRQ) to decide about an error code returned by
platform_get_irq() is completely invalid, don't attempt to overrule
irq subsystem in the driver.
The change fixes lpc32xx_keys driver initialization on boot:

The HID implementation of RMI4 provides the data during
the interrupt (in the input report). We need to provide
a way for this transport driver to provide the attention
data while calling an IRQ.
We use a fifo in rmi_core to not lose any incoming event.

First check if there are data available passed by the transport device.
If data available use these data. If there are no data available
try to read the rmi block if dsata are passed this way.
This is the way the other rmi function handlers will do this.
This patch is needed on HID devices because the firmware reads F03 data
registers and adds them to the HID attention report. Reading those
registers from the driver after the firmware read them will result in
invalid data.

The name of a codec pin can have an optional prefix string, which is
defined by the SoC machine driver. The snd_soc_dapm_x_pin functions
take the fully-specified name including the prefix and so the existing
code would fail to find the pin if the audio machine driver had added
a prefix.
Switch to using the snd_soc_component_x_pin equivalent functions that
take a specified SoC component and automatically add the name prefix to
the provided pin name.
