Bhumika Goyal 2331e06865 tty: serial: constify uart_ops structures
Declare uart_ops structures as const as they are only stored in the ops
field of an uart_port structure. This field is of type const, so
uart_ops structures having this property can be made const too.

File size details before and after patching.
First line of every .o file shows the file size before patching
and second line shows the size after patching.

Martin Blumenstingl ec84aa0a92 tty: serial: lantiq: implement earlycon support
This allows enabling earlycon for devices with a Lantiq serial console
by splitting lqasc_serial_port_write() from lqasc_console_write() and
re-using the new function for earlycon's write callback.

The kernel-parameter name matches the driver name ("lantiq"), similar
to how other drivers implement this.

Paul Gortmaker 1106d2dbab drivers/tty: make serial/lantic.c driver explicitly non-modular
The Kconfig for this option is currently:

config SERIAL_LANTIQ
    bool "Lantiq serial driver"

...meaning that it currently is not being built as a module by anyone.
Lets remove the couple traces of modularity, so that when reading the
driver there is no doubt it is builtin-only.

Since module_init translates to device_initcall in the non-modular
case, the init ordering remains unchanged with this commit.

We delete the MODULE_DESCRIPTION and LICENSE tags since they are
not adding any new information above and beyond what is at the top
of the file. Also note that MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE is a no-op for
non-modular code, so we remove that as well.

Linus Torvalds e6b5be2be4 Driver core patches for 3.19-rc1
Here's the set of driver core patches for 3.19-rc1.

They are dominated by the removal of the .owner field in platform
drivers. They touch a lot of files, but they are "simple" changes, just
removing a line in a structure.

Other than that, a few minor driver core and debugfs changes. There are
some ath9k patches coming in through this tree that have been acked by
the wireless maintainers as they relied on the debugfs changes.

Everything has been in linux-next for a while.

Jiri Slaby 2e124b4a39 TTY: switch tty_flip_buffer_push
Now, we start converting tty buffer functions to actually use
tty_port. This will allow us to get rid of the need of tty in many
call sites. Only tty_port will needed and hence no more
tty_port_tty_get in those paths.

Now, the one where most of tty_port_tty_get gets removed:
tty_flip_buffer_push.

IOW we also closed all the races in drivers not using tty_port_tty_get
at all yet.

Also we move tty_flip_buffer_push declaration from include/linux/tty.h
to include/linux/tty_flip.h to all others while we are changing it
anyway.

John Crispin ceff2676b0 SERIAL: MIPS: lantiq: implement OF support
Add devicetree and handling for our new clkdev clocks. The patch is rather
straightforward. .of_match_table is set and the 3 irqs are now loaded from the
devicetree.

This series converts the lantiq target to clkdev amongst other things. The
driver needs to handle two clocks now. The fpi bus clock used to derive the
divider and the clock gate needed on some socs to make the secondary port work.
