There have not been a lot of fixes for for the soc tree in 6.4, but
these have been sitting here for too long.
For the devicetree side, there is one minor warning fix for vexpress,
the rest all all for the the NXP i.MX platforms: SoC specific bugfixes
for the iMX8 clocks and its USB-3.0 gadget device, as well as board
specific fixes for regulators and the phy on some of the i.MX boards.
The microchip risc-v and arm32 maintainers now also add a shared
maintainer file entry for the arm64 parts.
The remaining fixes are all for firmware drivers, addressing mistakes in
the optee, scmi and ff-a firmware driver implementation, mostly in the
error handling code, incorrect use of the alloc_workqueue() interface in
SCMI, and compatibility with corner cases of the firmware implementation.

msm-fixes for v6.4-rc3
Display Fixes:
+ Catalog fixes:
- fix the programmable fetch lines and qos settings of msm8998
to match what is present downstream
- fix the LM pairs for msm8998 to match what is present downstream.
The current settings are not right as LMs with incompatible
connected blocks are paired
- remove unused INTF0 interrupt mask from SM6115/QCM2290 as there
is no INTF0 present on those chipsets. There is only one DSI on
index 1
- remove TE2 block from relevant chipsets because this is mainly
used for ping-pong split feature which is not supported upstream
and also for the chipsets where we are removing them in this
change, that block is not present as the tear check has been moved
to the intf block
- relocate non-MDP_TOP INTF_INTR offsets from dpu_hwio.h to
dpu_hw_interrupts.c to match where they belong
- fix the indentation for REV_7xxx interrupt masks
- fix the offset and version for dither blocks of SM8[34]50/SC8280XP
chipsets as it was incorrect
- make the ping-pong blk length 0 for appropriate chipsets as those
chipsets only have a dither ping-pong dither block but no other
functionality in the base ping-pong
- remove some duplicate register defines from INTF
+ Fix the log mask for the writeback block so that it can be enabled
correctly via debugfs
+ unregister the hdmi codec for dp during unbind otherwise it leaks
audio codec devices
+ Yaml change to fix warnings related to 'qcom,master-dsi' and
'qcom,sync-dual-dsi'

When trying to turn on the "pseudo NMI" kernel feature in Linux, it
was discovered that all Mediatek-based Chromebooks that ever shipped
(at least ones with GICv3) had a firmware bug where they wouldn't save
certain GIC "GICR" registers properly. If a processor ever entered a
suspend/idle mode where the GICR registers lost state then they'd be
reset to their default state.
As a result of the bug, if you try to enable "pseudo NMIs" on the
affected devices then certain interrupts will unexpectedly get
promoted to be "pseudo NMIs" and cause crashes / freezes / general
mayhem.
ChromeOS is looking to start turning on "pseudo NMIs" in production to
make crash reports more actionable. To do so, we will release firmware
updates for at least some of the affected Mediatek Chromebooks.
However, even when we update the firmware of a Chromebook it's always
possible that a user will end up booting with old firmware. We need to
be able to detect when we're running with firmware that will crash and
burn if pseudo NMIs are enabled.
The current plan is:
* Update the device trees of all affected Chromebooks to include the
'mediatek,broken-save-restore-fw' property. The kernel can use this
to know not to enable certain features like "pseudo NMI". NOTE:
device trees for Chromebooks are never baked into the firmware but
are bundled with the kernel. A kernel will never be configured to
use "pseudo NMIs" and be bundled with an old device tree.
* When we get a fixed firmware for one of these Chromebooks, it will
patch the device tree to remove this property.

On the stm32f7 Socs the can peripheral can be in single or dual
configuration. In the dual configuration, in turn, it can be in primary
or secondary mode. The addition of the 'st,can-secondary' property allows
you to specify this mode in the dual configuration.
CAN peripheral nodes in single configuration contain neither
"st,can-primary" nor "st,can-secondary".

assigned-clocks are a dependency of clocks, however the dtschema has
limitation and expects clocks to be present in the binding using
assigned-clocks, not in other referenced bindings. The clocks were
defined in common fsl,imx6q-pcie-common.yaml, which is referenced by
fsl,imx6q-pcie-ep.yaml. The fsl,imx6q-pcie-ep.yaml used assigned-clocks
thus leading to warnings:
Documentation/devicetree/bindings/pci/fsl,imx6q-pcie-ep.example.dtb: pcie-ep@33800000:
Unevaluated properties are not allowed ('assigned-clock-parents', 'assigned-clock-rates', 'assigned-clocks' were unexpected)
From schema: Documentation/devicetree/bindings/pci/fsl,imx6q-pcie-ep.yaml
Fix this by moving clocks to each specific schema from the common one
and narrowing them to strictly match what is expected for given device.

riscv: compat_syscall_table: Fixup compile warning
RISC-V: fixup in-flight collision with ARCH_WANT_OPTIMIZE_VMEMMAP rename
RISC-V: fix sifive and thead section mismatches in errata
RISC-V: Align SBI probe implementation with spec
riscv: mm: remove redundant parameter of create_fdt_early_page_table

RISC-V: Add arch functions to support hibernation/suspend-to-disk
RISC-V: mm: Enable huge page support to kernel_page_present() function
RISC-V: Factor out common code of __cpu_resume_enter()
RISC-V: Change suspend_save_csrs and suspend_restore_csrs to public function
Seemingly I mis-implemented the dependencies here. The OpenSBI docs only
point out that the "riscv,event-to-mhpmcounters property is mandatory if
riscv,event-to-mhpmevent is present". It never claims that
riscv,event-to-mhpmcounters requires riscv,event-to-mhpmevent.
Drop the dependency of riscv,event-to-mhpmcounters on
riscv,event-to-mhpmevent.

Core changes:
- Make a lot of pin controllers with GPIO and irqchips immutable,
i.e. not living structs, but const structs. This is driving a
changed initiated by the irqchip maintainers.
New drivers:
- New driver for the NXP S32 SoC pin controller
- As part of a thorough cleanup and restructuring of the
Ralink/Mediatek drivers, the Ralink MIPS pin control drivers
were folded into the Mediatek directory and the family is
renamed "mtmips". The Ralink chips live on as Mediatek MIPS
family where new variants can be added. As part of this work
also the device tree bindings were reworked.
- New subdriver for the Qualcomm SM7150 SoC.
- New subdriver for the Qualcomm IPQ9574 SoC.
- New driver for the nVidia BlueField-3 SoC.
- Support for the Qualcomm PMM8654AU mixed signal circuit GPIO.
- Support for the Qualcomm PMI632 mixed signal circuit GPIO.
Improvements:
- Add some missing pins and generic cleanups on the Renesas
r8a779g0 and r8a779g0 pin controllers. Generic Renesas
extension for power source selection on several SoCs.
- Misc cleanups for the Atmel AT91 and AT91-PIO4 pin
controllers
- Make the GPIO mode work on the Qualcomm SM8550-lpass-lpi
driver.
- Several device tree binding cleanups as the binding
YAML syntax is solidifying.

Merge tag 'pinctrl-v6.4-1' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/linusw/linux-pinctrl
Pull pin control updates from Linus Walleij:
"Mostly drivers! Nothing special: some new Qualcomm chips as usual, and
the new NXP S32 and nVidia BlueField-3.
Core changes:
- Make a lot of pin controllers with GPIO and irqchips immutable,
i.e. not living structs, but const structs. This is driving a
changed initiated by the irqchip maintainers.
New drivers:
- New driver for the NXP S32 SoC pin controller
- As part of a thorough cleanup and restructuring of the
Ralink/Mediatek drivers, the Ralink MIPS pin control drivers were
folded into the Mediatek directory and the family is renamed
"mtmips". The Ralink chips live on as Mediatek MIPS family where
new variants can be added. As part of this work also the device
tree bindings were reworked.
- Add some missing pins and generic cleanups on the Renesas r8a779g0
and r8a779g0 pin controllers. Generic Renesas extension for power
source selection on several SoCs.
- Misc cleanups for the Atmel AT91 and AT91-PIO4 pin controllers
- Make the GPIO mode work on the Qualcomm SM8550-lpass-lpi driver.
- Several device tree binding cleanups as the binding YAML syntax is
solidifying"

The dt-binding was defined before the extraction of csr access and
fence.i into their own extensions, and thus the presence of the I
base extension implies Zicsr and Zifencei.
There's no harm in adding them obviously, but for backwards
compatibility with DTs that existed prior to that extraction, software
is unable to differentiate between "i" and "i_zicsr_zifencei" without
any further information.

are a couple patches to the core clk framework, but they're all basically
cleanups or debugging aids. The driver updates and new additions are dominated
in the diffstat by Qualcomm and MediaTek drivers. Qualcomm gained a handful of
new drivers for various SoCs, and MediaTek gained a bunch of drivers for
MT8188. The MediaTek drivers are being modernized as well, so there are
updates all over that vendor's clk drivers. There's also a couple other new clk
drivers in here, for example the Starfive JH7110 SoC support is added.
Outside of the two major SoC vendors though, we have the usual collection of
non-critical fixes and cleanups to various clk drivers. It's good to see that
we're getting more cleanups and modernization patches. Maybe one day we'll be
able to properly split clk providers from clk consumers.
Core:
- Print an informational message before disabling unused clks
New Drivers:
- BCM63268 timer clock and reset controller
- Frequency Hopping (FHCTL) on MediaTek MT6795, MT8173, MT8192 and
MT8195 SoCs
- Mediatek MT8188 SoC clk drivers

Add a devicetree binding for the ast2600 i3c controller hardware. This
is heavily based on the designware i3c core, plus a reset facility
and two platform-specific properties:
- sda-pullup-ohms: to specify the value of the configurable pullup
resistors on the SDA line
- aspeed,global-regs: to reference the (ast2600-specific) i3c global
register block, and the device index to use within it.
